Senche-raht are large warriors, but they are not bi-pedal and are often employed as steeds.
Killermosca 23. feb. 2017 kl. 9:25
The name of the large Khajiit warrior-breed is Senche-raht if I remember my last read of "Mixed Unit Tactics".

Thanks for the feedback guys. Most of the mod ideas are really good ideas, but I haven't time (nor ability) to make any new updates, changes or new mods at this time. If anyone wants to do alter this mod in anyway, you're more than welcome. You can even advertise your updeated mod here in the comments (and I'll note it in my intro when I check back in).. You can give me credit for the orignial if you want - or not. Thanks to all who subscribed, liked and commented. RuneRed

Carmarkcaine 6. aug. 2015 kl. 10:23
Maybe just make the table bigger when "playing" the animation of doing potions etc.?
Rune Red  [ophavsmand] 22. feb. 2015 kl. 14:38
Thanks, gaarkasand, I haven't noticed that, but I'll give it a look. But if it is a problem, I'm not sure if I'll be able to fix it because I have little knowledge how to adjust the animation.
SashaSekunda 5. feb. 2015 kl. 7:17
I think you need to work on animation, for example, when preparing the potions or chopping wood, size does not match the character animation
The61Slayer 13. okt. 2014 kl. 5:17
their also in the moon path to how ever you spell their homeland's name just as npcs
Rune Red  [ophavsmand] 29. juli 2014 kl. 18:26
yes, that's fairly much what a Cathay-rahy is... a tall khajiit.
VinierAardvark1 22. juli 2014 kl. 19:02
No offense, but this just looks like a Taller Khajiit...

@ Privateer, thx for the info
PrivateerBlack 3. juli 2014 kl. 17:30
Some people have said that the height is kind of a problem with the standard camera angle. I'm using the Immersive First Person mod and it works really well. The mod basically adjusts the camera and makes it so that you see what your character sees. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49036/?

@ Tomark, Sounds Great. I sent you a friend request or you can respond here. I'm not on STEAM as frequently as I would like to be. Feel free to post the info here or elsewhere. Sorry to hear about your accident - Heal well.
Tomark 8. maj 2014 kl. 9:22
@ Rune Red, I think how you can solve your mod Game NPC's do not recognize your race as a khajiit issue. Feel free to add me as a friend if you are interested and will chat.
Tomark 7. maj 2014 kl. 23:28
@ Rune Red, if i have your permission, i would like to check the file in the creation kit and check if i can fix the issues. I had an accident and i have a lot of free time at home :/
Tomark 7. maj 2014 kl. 23:10
I was wondering if there is any news with the issue of the NPC that not recognize your race as a khajiit. If so, i'll try searching for a solution.
AlexKrakn 26. apr. 2014 kl. 12:55
ive always wanted a tall character because irl im really short for my age im 14 which is kinda not my thin :P
Rune Red  [ophavsmand] 15. apr. 2014 kl. 9:54
@ Fox, that works for scale, but does not grant the limitations (Reduced Magicka Regen) nor benefit (eg increased carry).

@ MiniMega, not sure what the problem is with limited info, but you're the first in 11 pages that had a problem with it working... You do need to start a new character and select the Cathay-raht as your race.

@ Skull, it was my original intention, but my free time is not what it once was... hopefully, I'll get back to the khajiit characters at some point.
King Phox™ 4. apr. 2014 kl. 11:23
Guys the easiest way to do this (no mod) is just "set playerscale 1.15" no bugs
MiniMega 28. feb. 2014 kl. 11:59
Why do none of these freakin mods ever work for me? This is the third one today that just did nothing.
Goopy Ghost 27. feb. 2014 kl. 20:13
@Rune Red can you make more lore friendly khajiit races, the closest to Dagi-Raht i had before was Clawbound ( who are OP and tall as hell ) and ive always wanted to be more khajiit races! i would love it if i could see these pop up in your workshop! please and thank you.
Rune Red  [ophavsmand] 6. feb. 2014 kl. 6:49
@ Decisive, thx for all the info (I already knew a ton about khajit though). I am reasonably certain that my run speed is increased with this character - I've timed long runs with different characters (and incidently, he goes a tad further with whirlwind sprint).. His jump height iss also slightly higher. In any event, other than 1st peson POV being too low, and some problem with the Dark Brotherhood questline, it works fairly much how I want it too. Again, thx for the info.

Maybe I should write a book :P

Dagi: A less-common form of Khajiit, Dagi live in the trees of the Tenmar forrest. Due to their smaller size and light weight, they are able to dwell in the higher branches which even the Bosmer cannot reach. The Dagi have a natural affinity for magic, and are known spellcasters, a characteristic often taken advantage of in Khajiiti battle-tactics; they appear to be just as skilled as any capable magic user.

Dagi-raht: Similar in all respects to the Dagi, while somewhat larger, however not overly so as they are able to dwell in higher tree branches, like the Dagi. It can be assumed that, like their smaller cousins, they are naturally skilled in the use of magic.

Mane: The Mane is a unique form of Khajiit born when a 3rd moon appears in the sky. Only one Mane exists at any one time, and Khajiiti believe that the Mane is one soul incarnating into different bodies.

Shaddap 5. feb. 2014 kl. 13:25
Cathay-raht: Similar to the Suthay-raht, but larger and stronger. Described as looking like upright jaguars. Cathay-raht have phalic barbs.

Cathay: Larger and stronger than a Suthay-raht, but smaller than a Cathay-raht

Senche-raht: At the size of a large horse, the Senche-raht is twice as tall as a Senche and can weigh as much as fifty Altmer. Has straighter legs and shorter body (relative to size) than a Senche, the Senche's other characteristics apply to the Senche-raht as well. Ridden, especially in battle. Known as "Battlecats" to Imperials.

Senche: A smaller version of the Senche-raht, similar to the Pahmar-raht. Its forelimbs are thick and 1.5 times longer than their hindlimbs, giving them an ape-like appearence. The Senche's coat is tawny and stripped in red-brown. Stand as tall as an Altmer and weigh as much as twenty. They are sprinters, not long distance runners, and are often used as mounts for by other Khajiit.
Shaddap 5. feb. 2014 kl. 13:25
Most breeds of Khajiit have two different forms. Here is a list of these forms, to aid any modders who want to create some lore friendly races.

Ohmes: This form is similar in appearance to the Bosmer, sometimes shorter. Due to their man-like appearance, the Ohmes are the most common breed of Khajiit outside of Elsweyr. They are commonly employed as diplomats and adventurers. Ohmes tattoo their faces to resemble their more feline brethren. Ohmes do not have phalic barbs. They are commonly known as "man-faced" Khajiit.

Ohmes-raht: Similar in size and shape to humans, but with light fur and a tail.

Suthay-raht: Walk upright but are more cat-like than Ohmes-raht. Suthay-raht have a slight degree of phalic barbs. Sometimes called "ja'khajiit" by other races, though this is a misnomer.

Suthay: Similar to Suthay-raht but smaller and weaker.

Sorry, I screwed that url tag up.
Shaddap 5. feb. 2014 kl. 13:14
Orcs and High Elves have the highest cosmetic heights in the game, in term of playable races; Orcs have a cosmetic scale of 1.045, while High Elves stand at 1.08. Dremora are even taller at 1.10, however they are not playable. This means that an Orc has a cosmetic scale of 1.045, a High Elf has a cosmetic scale of 1.08, and a Dremora has a cosmetic scale of 1.10, but all use a scale of 1.00 for every single calculation including Damage Output, Damage Resistance, Run Speed, and Jump Height.

- Elder Scrolls Wiki -/url]This suggests that you might be able to change it w/ the console. [elderscrolls.wikia.com]
Shaddap 5. feb. 2014 kl. 13:12
Also,
When you said "I'm not sure where you get your data - the altmer, in game, do run faster and jump higher than any of the races shorter than itself." I meant that they don't do more damage.

A possible fix might be to write a script that sets the player's scale back to 1 whenever the play goes into first person, but then you wouldn't be looking down on anyone.

Anyway...I apologize for the wall of text and good luck!
Shaddap 5. feb. 2014 kl. 13:12
@Rune Red
"Characters' races impact their jump height and run speed. Physically taller races can cover more ground while running and have a greater vertical jump height. Without console command modification, the damage output, damage resistance, jump height, run speed, weapon reach, etc., for all races remains at a scale of 1.00, with the race specific scales being purely cosmetic only. Race specific scales can be found in the brackets when the getscale command is used on the player or an NPC. This means that all stats for all races is identical, without console command modification of the saved game profile."

- Elder Scrolls Wiki [elderscrolls.wikia.com]

typing in "player.setscale 1.15" into the console will increase speed and jump height, but will also increase base damage. To prove it, type in "setscale 50" or something and then go hit someone. Should be more or less an instant kill.

Rune Red  [ophavsmand] 5. feb. 2014 kl. 8:13
@ Decisive, I prefer the physical scale, and that's what I used (methinks); I want the Cathay-raht to run faster and jump higher. I'm not sure where you get your data - the altmer, in game, do run faster and jump higher than any of the races shorter than itself. The camera center for all of the reaces however is the exact same height off the ground, regardless of race - it is most noticeable zooming in and out of a tall race, such as a nord or an altmer. Since Bethesda's vanilla races do not adjust 1st person camera for height, I found it difficult to do (without manually altering the .ini files).

@ Richter, I have never seen that happen before and I'm have no idea how that happened. You may need to use the console command, player.setscale 1.15 to get your height back to the correct height.
R.A.T. 30. jan. 2014 kl. 20:19
I lost my extra height when I started the Thalmor Party quest.
Shaddap 5. okt. 2013 kl. 0:11
So...what I'm guessing you did was increase the size of the race through a process similar to the console command player.setscale xxx. There are two types of scales; physical and cosmetic. Cosmetic just looks taller, and doesn't define the speed, damage, or camera center of a skeleton. The best example of this is the High Elf race. Taller than everyone else, but not better. Try researching how to change the cosmetic scale of a custom race in the Workshop.

rune red actually its not only the alfiq that are mages the dagi are also mages apparently.

This is an excellent mod and my top favorite, but because of a problem with subscribed mods not installing on launch it would be nice if there was a way I could install these files manually. I'm not entirely sure if Steam Workshop lets you get the files manually, but if not please make a download somewhere (preferably Skyrim Nexus.) Thanks for the awesome mod!
Rune Red  [ophavsmand] 16. mar. 2013 kl. 11:12
@ Mori. Thanks. I put in the 1/6 magic regen as a negative to off-set the pluses. Besides, it's the alfiq khajiit that are the mages.
Rune Red  [ophavsmand] 16. mar. 2013 kl. 11:11
@ Pierre - that is possible, I guess - this was written before any expansions. The fangs wouldn't show, because it's a non-standard race, but since you can become a vampire lord, it seems that the game should be recogninzing you as a vampire. But just in case, my apologies if my mod caused you any problems. There is a decent chance that it wasn't my mod - you're the only one to mention it out of 1500 subscribers. I'll run some tests to see if I can duplicate your problem - although a fix may be beyond my ability.

If anyone else has this problem with this mod or any other 'race' mod, please let me know. And if it was my mod, ideas for a fix would be appreiciated.
Har_May 12. mar. 2013 kl. 14:00
* Oh and I can't feed on cattle as well. And vampires don't recognize me as a vampire which prevents from starting any quest, using the vampire lord power cause other vampires to attack me.
Har_May 12. mar. 2013 kl. 13:44
Is it possible that it isn't compatible with being a vampire ? ( I have Dawnguard ) I just got bitten by Harkon and my character doesn't have any fangs ... I runned the game with the Cathay-raht mod only and it still doesn't change a thing .
Mori 12. feb. 2013 kl. 8:25
Realy nice mod. But 1/6 magic regen makes it unplayable for me :(
Rune Red  [ophavsmand] 9. feb. 2013 kl. 13:04
@101st - it should appear during character creation right after the default khajiit called Khajiit: Cathay-raht. If it isn't there, then myabe therre is a conflict with another mod that alters playable races - if not, I have no idea why it isn't showing.

@ pandling1, yes the Cathay-raht is in the lore, here is some basic info: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Khajiit
pandaling 5. feb. 2013 kl. 16:34
Is this in the lore?
