Version 1.6.0

Scholars have finally uncovered additional information on all the Skyshards they were missing data on!

It only took them 4 years.

With this update the flavour text has been covered (and in some cases updated) for every single one of the 108 Skyshards. Alongside that there have been numerous performance and QOL updates. Performance has been improved by as much as 3x the previous version!

The biggest change by far comes in the form of asynchronous support for the inner-workings of the mod. What this means is that we're able to do multiple things at the same time (such as hold objective checking/updating) instead of one at a time such as in previous versions. For example; hold updating used to take 12 seconds before this update, whereas now it only takes 4 seconds! In the end you're left with a snappier response and that bit of added extra satisfaction! (Yes, I am very proud of this!)

Other changes included are:

- The mod now (finally) only requires the base game and not the DLCs.
- Configuration choices will now be respected and not overridden after each update.
- A new copy of the configurator (book) is now given each update to ensure no old scripts are run.
- Gods will now correctly retain their Godlihood after absorbing a Skyshard if set in the Misc section of the configurator.
- Player controls are now correctly restored as they were after a Skyshard absorption.
- You're now able to specify 0 perk points gained as requested by those who simply want the hunt!
- Fixed a Skyshard conflict with the mod Snowbound Acres. It now has a new home!
- Redid the way perk point distribution is handled in bulk to cover certain edge cases.
- Skyshard beacons now gracefully fade away instead of abruptly popping out! Additionally, the beacon will fade out more fluently after the absorption instead of randomly during it.
- Switched to a custom visual and shader effect for the Skyshard absorption so it doesn't get overridden by any mods that replace the vanilla ones.
- In-game update messages for the mod now show after the update has completed.

Meaning that if a player absorbed 30 Skyshards after turning off the perk point distribution, and then decided to turn it back on, they would be shown a message confirming if they wish to gain 10 perk points at the default 1 perk point for every 3 Skyshards absorbed, or if they wish to reset the counters.
