Diverse Rooms updated for 2.8.*

Hopefully this solves the issues of people not seeing the rooms in-game. Will do some further testing.

Diverse Rooms updated for Stellaris 2.7.2

  • I've finally been able to change the mod's description to more accurately reflect the amount of content in this mod!
  • I've removed the links to LastLeviathan's outdated mods.
  • No new rooms were added. I do occassionally run into some great looking backdrops, but it's becoming very difficult to justify adding any more. 300 additional rooms is more than enough.

Thanks to Paradox's wonderful update system, you can now finally enjoy the next simple version number change for Diverse Rooms after I had to revert back to Stellaris 2.3.3. in order to succefully upload the new version!

After a bit of a bumpy update process, I can now finally say that Diverse Rooms has been updated for Stellaris' 2.3 Wolfe / Ancient Relics patch.

Diverse Rooms updated for Stellaris 2.2 LeGuin / MegaCorp.

28 rooms have been added. For a visual overview of the new backdrops, visit this IMGur album[imgur.com]. Beware: there's some pretty bad .jpg compression. They look a lot better in-game.

These include:

  • 7 brand new corporate rooms. (If you're also subscribed to Diverse Basics, that number goes up to 11 brand new corporate rooms, as the new 'Caravaneer' rooms have been altered to fit the 'corporate / casino' theme.)
  • 5 brand new dystopian rooms. (Think Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell and other sci fi dystopian cities.)
  • 3 new hive rooms.
  • 2 new fungus rooms.
  • 2 new industrial rooms.
  • 2 new outdoor rooms.
  • 2 new trader rooms.
  • 2 new xenomorph rooms. (Can't have a Megacorp update without a little Weyland-Yutani, now can we?)
  • 1 new cityscape room.
  • 1 new spiritualist room.
  • 1 new mech room.

A quick update for compatibility with Diverse Basics.

This updates replaces two backdrops from Diverse Rooms: tech16_room.dds and outdoor21_room.dds. They are now included in Diverse Basics as replacements for the 'Fallen Empire Teal' and 'Migratory Flock' rooms.
