  • added double-barrel shotgun upgrade for the pump-action
    • tap to fire one barrel, hold to fire both in sequence
  • added visible fire selector to pulse rifle, and adjusted swap-in anim to make it visible sooner

  • alien weapon
    • added flamethrower fire mode ("call ToggleMode" keybind, same as ammo toggle)
    • removed explosion delay
    • reverted ammo use to original 5
    • added muzzle flash and weapon light effect
    • reduced visual explosion size to better reflect blast radius
    • barrel now closes during swap-out
    • climbing during swap-in no longer causes barrel to snap open during swap-out
  • rocket launcher
    • revert to firing all rockets at once
      • remove spread from first rocket
      • stratify rocket speed again, but is less random, and has a higher minimum
    • reduced swap-out time by lowering as it's closing
  • misc
    • increased AR recoil of first two shots (now reaches pistol accuracy by 3rd shot rather than 6th)
    • reduced hand grenade fuse randomization
    • added weapon light effect to shockwave weapon

    • reduced oversized mantis collision height
  • taunt system
    • fixed most level 8 keys not triggering key pickup taunt
    • instead of taunting turrets on special kills (original intent was no taunts), turret kills now always trigger the explosive kill taunt, except for ranged kills

  • assault rifle
    • reduced fire rate
    • increased accuracy
  • minigun
    • fire rate now ramps up as barrels accelerate
      • synchronized shots and barrel rotation
      • changed spin rate to produce the correct fire rate
      • tweaked barrel acceleration to produce a nice fire rate rampup
      • added whir volume rampup, and increased pitch rampup
    • slightly reduced whir volume, and slightly increased shot volume
    • landing rattle should no longer play in the middle of victory cutscenes if you kill a boss while in the air
  • humvee rockets
    • can now fire sideways on Hard, and will lead its shots on Hardcore
    • added splash damage, and aim at feet
    • fire rate is more consistent, and higher on Hardcore
    • fixed impact thwack sound, and surface type inconsistencies
  • many enemies have had their hitbox reduced (most noticeable for humans)
  • cyborg sergeant projectile changed to blue, since they clearly hold actual pulse rifles, unlike human sergeants
  • fixed sergeant projectile water impact being blue instead of red
  • bodies should no longer splash when blown into anti-gravity shafts

  • sergeants now drop a new small energy cell pickup on Hard and Hardcore instead of nothing
  • minigun aims up a few degrees to partially compensate for low bullet spawn point and recoil
  • reworked minigun aim wander to be more even
  • most enemies can no longer shoot backwards
  • triceratops can now aim at you properly
  • demon fireball charge speed increases based on difficulty to match fire rate increases
  • fixed a bug I introduced that caused grenade launcher, explosive shells, and tek arrows to respawn when re-entering a map
