18 April Update

Hi everyone today's update continues with the work of adding new maps for the completion of act6 to allow play testing.

Map Updates
The Burning City - introduced in the previous update now 100% completed
The Dry Forest - new map 100% completed
The Sandy Pier Blockade - started working on this new map, alot of work to be done still.

Today's update 29 Mar 2020

Long time no updates!, well, we have been busy this is quite a big update that's been in the works for a while. This update effectively Introduces Act 6 - and incorporates the temple valley and a Ezrohir and Zerpyhish struggle for control of a city and its Grand Docks.
Still a lot of work in progress for act 6 chances to see what's happening and feedback
This update also makes tweaks to act 5 to create a transition for act 6 and of course continues with the version 2 full rework for the Barbarian class and adds small quality of life improvements and bug fixes! Enjoy!

Area Changes
Rebalance of levels in act 5, making a smoother progression of difficulty.

MileShire
Tweak to end boss teleport, makes this compatible with other quests

Forgotten Gem Mines
Area resets once you leave and re enter, a small quality of life improvement meaning you no longer have to leave the game and re roll when farming
Reduced drop chance of Gem Hoarder Boss of for vendor boom scroll to 25%
Tweaks to map making boss arena smaller and overall map a little more interesting

The Golden Crypt
Map approx 20% smaller but with 20 %more mobs and gold
Area resets once you leave and re enter, a small quality of life improvement meaning you no longer have to leave the game and re roll when farming
available from level 65 onwards, previously this was set at 85+

Sand Rat Caves
Bone Guardian Boss - Damage increased by approx +10%

Class Changes

Barbarian
Huge changes to Barbarian - Continued work on barb rework/version 2, estimated to be around 85 % complete now and you can get a real feel of how the updated class and mechanics will work

Bug Fixes
Barbarian battle cry level 11 bug fixed
Eccentric Collector quest only offering one reward option.
Mileshire Mines - The teleport back to town after quest is complete now fixed
Act 5 bounty boards disappearing on multi player resolved
The Crossing - minor pathing/clipping issues fixed
The Sand Rat Cave - minor pathing/clipping issues fixed

Known Issues
Waypoints for act5/6 need further work
Continuation with Barbarian work
Continuation for melee Dark Sorcerer skill tree

Hi everyone, this update comprises of minor changes as requested from the community, the first part of the barbarian rework and a lot of behind the scenes changes going on (new areas)

Area Changes
The Crossing
Level range changed from 55+ to 52+

Magma Temple
Meteor phase on final boss now more visible

Nether temple + Nether bastion
Reduced enemy level of this temple

Grand Regent - act 1 end boss fight
Reduced Life by 10%
Reduced armour slightly

Artificer
Reduced Life by 10%
Reduced armour slightly

Assassin
Assassins Veil
Increased the "pulse"/refresh rate of spell

Needles
Tightened up the needle projectiles on all levels

Barbarian
a lot of tweaks to skills as this class is being totally reworked, still bugs and about 50% of skills to be worked on

This update is mainly aimed at small bug fixes and tweaks as requested by the community. It also introduces a new skill for the Assassin

Now replaced with new spell: Cloak and Dagger

Dark Sorcerer

Cursed Weapon
Reduced charge gain slightly on higher levels
Reduced mana cost by -10%

Cursed Strike
had a bug where it would build charge, this has been resolved
Reduced cooldown from 5 seconds to 3 seconds.

hi everyone,
i wanted to do this update todate mainly to get the next round of Assassin bug fixes and tweaks out. I am also in the middle of a rework of the melee Dark Sorcrer - it is not 100% but you can see some of the reworks skills and i need to start balancing and checking concepts etc so please let me know your thoughts!

Area Changes

CLass Changes

Assassin
All passive skills will correctly require dual wield in order to work - this was a long term bug that meant you did not have to duel wield before!

Assasin can now use any dualwield melee weapons(previsoly only swords)


Needles
Reworked to avoid x4 missisle and aiming bug.

Kick
Rebalanced DOT damage

Poisoned Core
Reduced regeneration rate by approx -50%. The life regen part of this skill now caps out at 2% instead of 4%

Dark Sorcerer
Cursed Ground
Fully reworked and is no longer a passive skill

Dark Protection
No longer has a debuff that impacts cast speed and gains its damage absorbtion bonus direct from armour attributes and buffs

SLow Curse - removed
Corpse Explosion - removed
Amplify Damage - moved to skill number 2 on curse tree

Curses: Weaken/Amplify Damage
Tier 3 bonus now also includes a damage over time effect.

Task Master
Moved to Dark Arts skill tree

New skills: Soul Fire + Soul Release

Today's update 23 May 2019

Hello everyone, I was planning to release this update last week but we had a major crash recently which prevented me from uploading and publishing the MOD, the good news is this is now "fixed" the bad news is that 50% of the new nether temple was at fault and may be lost! So this update will mainly add the first half of the new nether temple until I can recover the file. The update will also add various bug fixes/tweaks based on feedback.

Area Changes

Nether Bastion and Nether Temple (for now only the first floor is active)
Nether Temple now in place and can be accessed via "The Temple Valley" and has two major floors/levels featuring unique monsters, bosses and rewards.

Class Changes

Dark Sorcerer
Entropic Energy replaced with new skill "Void Storm"

Cursed Strike
Cooldown reduced from 7 seconds to 5

Malediction
Now also adds a increased armour bonus to compliment melee builds.

Visual effect of skill changed to better differentiate between malediction skill and darkness skill

Assassin
Power Kick
Now generates charge
Tier 1 bonus now scales correctly with character levels

Needles
Now generates charge

Mind Shield
Now has a 3 second cooldown between activation

Added a buff animation so its easier to see when this skill is active.

Poison Aura
Changed animation of this skill

Poison Stab
Fixed a bug where poison stab damage and debuffs would only last 4 seconds

Poison Nova
Now generates charge

Poison Seeker
Now generates charge

Poison Globe
Cast speed/animation sped up +25%

Poisoned core
HP regen now scales with life(similar to Barb)
