Patch 1.10

Hi everyone! This patch is just a "potential" fix of the 3rd map's crashes. I removed even more entities from the map to prevent crashes, however I will not remove anymore entities, since they would make the map worse in every aesthetics. The whole map is too big, filled with lots of window overlays and other stuffs like that(which is obviously my mistake), and didn't think about optimization back then. Therefore if you crash while using mods, please remove some and try again. This is probably the last patch for this map since I started to work on another one, and I would like to focus on that one instead of patching this one. This map clearly has many mistakes and design problems I would try to avoid in the new one. As always, thank you for playing the map and I hope you will not crash again.

Patch 1.9

Hi everyone! This patch is a tiny one, since I messed up the events a little bit by setting the zombie pending to -1.
This patch will fix that, and it might make the events easier and more balanced. If you have any feedback or you find a bug, please let me know in the comments, and thank you again for playing my map.

Changes:

1st map:
  • From now on, the master script will begin when the players left the spawn.
  • Increased the checkpoint nav mesh at the beginning.
  • Set the MobMaxPending from -1 to 25 during the event.
  • Set the MobMaxPending from -1 to 60.
  • From now on, there is a relaxed state when players are entering the workshop.
  • Increased the minimum mob spawn time from 4 to 6 seconds.
  • Increased the maximum mob spawn time from 6 to 8 seconds.

2nd map:
  • Set the MobMaxPending from -1 to 24 during the main event.
  • Set the MobMaxPending from -1 to 30 during the optional event.
  • Set the MobMaxPending from -1 to 60.
  • Set the ZombieSpawnRange to 1400.

3rd map:
  • Set the MobMaxPending from -1 to 30 during the event.
  • Set the MobMaxPending from -1 to 60.

4th map:
  • Set the MobMaxPending from -1 to 30 during the event.
  • Set the MobMaxPending from -1 to 10 during the event, while the gates are open.
  • Set the MobMaxPending from -1 to 9 during the event, when the finale stage triggers.
  • Hordes cannot be spawned until players trigger the event.
  • Set on every area the delay between the horde spawn and the tanks to 40 seconds.

Patch 1.8

Hi everyone! Long time has passed since the release of the campaign and the last patch also, and the campaign has supported only co-op mode, until now.
From now on the map supports versus, survival and scavenge modes, made some changes on the campaign to make it more competitive for versus and scavenge.
The map also got huge optimization, therefore you should feel playing with more fps. Also, the whole campaign's scripts are rewritten to rebalance it.
Here are the changes, I hope you're going to like it. Please leave me a feedback of how you feel the gamemodes, the balance and optimization, and if you find any bugs or glitches, please leave a comment.

Changes:

Global:
  • The campaign now supports Versus mode (includes all maps in the campaign)
  • The campaign now supports Survival mode (includes the 1st and the 3rd map in the campaign)
  • The campaign now supports Scavenge mode (includes the final map in the campaign)
  • All maps are greatly optimized.


1st map:
  • In Versus mode, the first aid kits will spawn where survivors start instead of the workshop.
  • In versus mode, the players are able to start with Tier-1 weapons where they start instead of the apartment.
  • In versus mode, the pills at the start of the map will not spawn (instead, survivors get first aid kits)
  • In versus mode, the pistol spawns at the beginning are removed. Instead, one pistol spawn is right where the survivors start the map.
  • In versus mode, the panic event is shorter to balance the game.
    • The time to the door's jamming will be exactly 23 seconds instead of randomized between 30-60 seconds.
    • After fixing the panel, the door will open in 35 seconds instead of 67.
    • The time to fix the panel is 5 seconds instead of 6.
  • In versus mode, there are less items with a chance to spawn defibrillator in the apartment.

  • In survival mode, the workshop's door needs less time to open.

  • Removed various props from the map that could block the Infected or Survivors in fights.
  • Removed many decals from the map.
  • Removed manual SpecialRespawnInterval values.
  • Changed an infected ladder's position between the apartment and the house.
  • Changed one scaffolding from railed to norail version.
  • Changed a gate wall's length from 256 unit to 128 to prevent survivors camping a potential SI spawn.
  • Changed a weapon spawn at the beginning to spawn only pistol instead of pistol or magnum.
  • Changed a prop's location to give the Infected team a way to jump from a roof to another.
  • Changed the handrail at the workshop's window to give Special Infecteds a way to move up there from inside.
  • Added a PLAYERCLIP to prevent players skipping the event.
  • Added several SI ladders.
  • Added some props to give Infected hiding spots.
  • Several nav meshes had been modified/added.
  • Fixed a wall at the construction site that was not correctly placed.
  • Decreased the minimum and maximum mob size from 30 to 25 during the event.
  • Decreased the common limit from 30 to 25 during the event.
  • Set the maximum mob pending to default.
  • Set the maximum special infecteds to default.

2nd map:
  • In versus mode, pills will spawn instead of first aid kits at the event.
  • In versus mode, the m60 spawn is disabled.

  • Fixed a bug that info_survivor_position entities were placed instead of info_survivor_rescue in the changing room.
  • Fixed a bug that there was no attribute set to the nav meshes in Sector A, therefore the hordes were able to spawn where they should not.
  • Fixed a bug that two nav meshes were connected incorrectly, that might caused the bots to not climb down on the ladder at Sector B.
  • Added several infected ladders.
  • Added some clip textures at grates to avoid the spitter's spit to be shown on the floor incorrectly.
  • Changed the boilers' position in Sector C.
  • Removed a clip from the pipes in Sector C to give SI a place to go.
  • Removed a rescue room, because it was beside another one, therefore it was unnecessary.
  • Adjusted and added several SI ladders.
  • Increased the size of the stairs in Sector C.
  • From now on, the only tank will spawn on the map is fixed at Sector C.
  • Decreased the common limit from 50 to 30. (It was a bit too many)
  • Decreased the minimum mob size from 50 to 30.
  • Decreased the maximum mob size from 50 to 45.
  • Decreased the common limit from 50 to 30 in the optional event.
  • Set the maximum mob pending to default.
  • Set the zombie spawn range to default.
  • Set the maximum common limit to 12 during the main event.
  • Increased the minimum mob size from 5 to 6 during the main event.
  • Increased the maximum mob size from 10 to 12 during the main event.
  • Decreased the RelaxMaxFlowTravel from 100 to 50.
  • Set the maximum special infecteds to default.

3rd map:
  • In versus mode, first aid kits cannot be spawned before the event, only pills or adrenaline.
  • In versus mode, the grenade launcher at the event will not spawn.

  • Fixed a ladder that was able to use for survivors at the back of a trailer.
  • Fixed several navmeshes.
  • Fixed some infected ladders that did not function as ladders.
  • Expended a balcony to give infected a way to spawn in a house.
  • Increased some light's density.
  • Removed some entities to prevent crashes.
  • Removed several blocks from roofs and added nav meshes on them. It can affect both versus and coop mode.
  • Changed a truck's trailer position slightly for more space to either survivors and infected to move.
  • Changed an item spawn that had the possibility to spawn ammo near a fixed ammo spawn.
  • Changed the parking lot's staircase. Now it is more wide.
  • Changed a balcony's railing to give the infected a way to climb up there.
  • Changed the SI respawn time from 30 seconds to default during the event.
  • Added few props that hides the infected spawn.
  • Added a doorway in the bar.
  • Added a rescue room before the event.
  • Added several SI ladders.
  • Greatly optimized the level.
  • Decreased the RelaxMaxFlowTravel from 100 to 50 during the event.
  • Decreased the maximum mob size from 60 to 45.
  • Set the zombie spawn range to default.
  • Set the maximum mob pending to default.
  • Set the maximum special infecteds to default.
  • Changed the preferred mob direction from large volumes to no preference.
  • Added an ammo spawn in the saferoom at the end of the map.
  • From now on, only 1 medkit is able to spawn before the event.

4th map:
  • In versus mode, removed all longer, "story-based" voicelines of Elijah to not disturb players' communication.

  • Removed many unnecessary props to prevent crashes.
  • Removed some cars over the map for a more clear view/more free movement.
  • Fixed a navmesh at the store. (some SI and Tank could stuck there).
  • Fixed the outdoor soundscape sound.
  • Fixed some SI ladders.
  • Fixed a bug that the timers were still on and could open the gates without killing the tank(s).
  • Added 2 sandbags at the truck in 2nd stage area to give SI a chance to attack the survivors if they camp in the corner.
  • Added several clips to prevent the gascans fly out/thrown out of the map.
  • Added several SI ladders.
  • Added ammospawn in the saferoom.
  • Changed 2 cans' position slightly.
  • Decreased the time of the 2nd stage event (from 150-200 seconds to 110-130)
  • Added 2 item spawns at the 3rd stage.
  • Greatly optimized the level.
  • Increased the red lights' density on the generator.
  • Changed a store's interior to give proper space for SI and mobs to spawn.
  • Greatly optimized the map.
  • Increased the CommonLimit from 25 to 30 in 2nd stage.
  • Changed the SI respawn time from 30 to default during the finale.
  • Set the maximum special infecteds to default.
  • Set the maximum mob pending to default.

Patch 1.7:

Hi everyone! Thank you again for all the feedbacks and playing my map. As I've read your comments,
most of the times your problem is the lack of items and too many zombies spawning. Based on these feedbacks,
I would like to push this patch out to balance the map a bit, while still remains the same challenging map.
Hopefully you're gonna like it.

Changes:

1st map:
  • Changed the CI spawning during the event.
  • Changed the CI spawning during a horde.
  • Added more item and melee weapon spawns.
  • Significantly increased the special infecteds' respawn time during the event.
  • Removed some unnecessary decals to prevent crashing.
  • From now on, you can climb up to the top of the blue big dumpster in front of the workshop.
  • Fixed some glitches at the beginning of the map (props casted shadows that looked weird).
  • Fixed a bug that SI could stuck in a place (usually a jockey).
  • Increased the chance of item spawns.
  • Removed some navmeshes that could cause issues at the beginning of the map.
  • Fixed a bug that CI tried to attack you through the workshop's door during the event.
  • Added several ladders for infected.
  • From now on, the katana spawn in the sewer must exist.
  • Increased the brightness of the lights at the beginning of the map.
  • From now on, the event is going to be finished in 67 seconds after you fixed the control panel.

2nd map:
  • Changed the CI spawning during the optional event.
  • Changed the CI spawning during the main event.
  • From now on, the hordes are larger, but the relax state is longer.
  • Significantly increased the special infecteds' respawn time during the optional event.
  • Significantly increased the special infecteds' respawn time during the main event.
  • Added more item and melee weapon spawns.
  • Fixed a bug that special infected could spawn behind the locked door during the event.
  • Fixed a bug that special infected could spawn behind the armory door.
  • Fixed a bug that MegaMobWarningSound played twice after starting the main event.
  • Fixed some lighting glitches in Sector A.
  • Fixed a bug that Elijah's voiceline wasn't played after you finished the main event.
  • Changed the armory's door. After the optional event is done, the door becomes breakable.
  • Changed the medical cabinet's pill count from 2 to 3 in the armory.
  • Adjusted the ladder in Sector B.
  • The weapon spawn in Sector A must exist.
  • Added few infected ladders in Sector C.
  • Changed non-fixed weapon spawns' count from 1 to 5 in Sector C.
  • Added two tier-2 non-fix weapon spawns in the locker room near the ammo.
  • Slightly increased the speed of the roll-up doors' opening.
  • Replaced a fix shotgun spawn in Sector C.
  • Increased the chance of item spawns.
  • Boomers can no longer spawn during the main event.
  • From now on, a relax phase will be initiated after entering in the pumping engine room (main event).
  • Added a rescue room after the main event.
  • Added several "PRECISE" attributes to navmeshes to prevent dumb decisions of the AI.

3rd map:
  • Changed the CI spawning during the event.
  • Changed the CI spawning during a horde.
  • Fixed a bug that the texture was missing under a breakable wall.
  • Fixed a bug that a house's roof were missing.
  • A machete spawn in the apartments set to "must exist".
  • Added more melee weapon spawns.
  • Removed some unnecessary props and decals to prevent crashes.
  • Removed "ForcePanicEvent" after opening the alarmed door.
  • Changed the start of the event after opening the alarmed door from 5 to 6 seconds.
  • Increased the special infecteds' respawn time during the event.
  • Increased the chance of item spawns.
  • Changed the fix-spawn sniper's count from 1 to 5.
  • From now on, boomers cannot be spawned during the event, instead there can be 2 smokers.

4th map:
  • Changed the CI spawning during the whole event.
  • Significantly increased the SI's respawn time during the event.
  • Added more item and melee weapon spawns.
  • Fixed a bug that a melee weapon spawn's count was 5 instead of 1.

Patch 1.6:

Happy new year everyone. @Cuba noticed that the color correction files are missing (which is not intended), and I noticed some bugs with the navmeshes. So here are the changes:

Changes:

1st map:
  • Added tier 1 fix-spawn primary weapons in the workshop in case someone would have missed the weapons in the apartment.
3rd map:
  • Fixed a bug that the navmesh was generated outside the playable area.
  • Fixed a bug that the navmesh had not the correct attribute in a house.

Global:
  • Fixed a bug that color correction files were missing. Now the map should look much better.

Patch 1.5:

Hi everyone, hope you have a great day. I made some adjustments and a bugfix related to an easter egg. Here are the changes:

Changes:

1st map:
  • Decreased the maximum amount of common infected during the event.
  • Increased the min size of mob during the event.
  • Decreased the max size of mob during the event.
  • Added a little surveillance camera in the workshop based on a suggestion.
2nd map:
  • Increased the respawn time of special infected.
3rd map:
  • Fixed a bug that Rachel did not react to you if you looked up to the window.
  • Fixed a bug that Rachel's reward stuck in the window.
  • Adjusted Rachel's reaction time to you if you stand under her window.

Hi everyone, I made another changes based on your feedback, you can check them here:

Changes:

2nd map:
  • You can no longer jump on the top of the transformers at the event.
  • Fixed a ladder at the end of the map. From now on, the bots can easily get off the ladder at the top without any difficulties.
  • Increased the time gap of mob spawns during the event.
3rd map:
  • Fixed a bug that you could walk through a static door.
  • Changed the fog volume in the apartment.
  • Added a fix ammo spawn inside the bar.
  • Added item spawns inside the bar.
  • Added weapon upgrade spawn (including laser sight) inside the bar.
  • Added clips to several buildings' windows to move through them easier.
  • Added clips to the fountain.
  • Adjusted windows at the constructed building.
  • Decreased the minimum and maximum mob size during the event even more.
  • Decreased the maximum amount of common infected during the event.
4th map:
  • Fixed the navigation inside the office.
  • Fixed a texture bug at the truck in the second area.
  • Fixed a bug that you could walk through a door at the beginning of the finale.
  • Increased the minimum size of mob spawn during the finale.
  • Decreased the minimum time of mob spawn during the finale.
  • Fixed a bug that you could jump on the edge of the fountain.
  • Reduced the time of horde coming both the first and second area (from 90 to 120 seconds to 70 to 100).
  • From now on, you have more time to collect the gascans before a tank appears (150 to 200 seconds).
  • From now on, the gates will open after the tank phase. (previously, the gates opened based on a timer, so the gates could open during the tank or if you killed the tank too fast, you had to wait).
  • Reduced the required gascans to fill up the armored van from 11 to 8.
  • Decreased the minimum and maximum mob size during the scavenge.
  • Elijah's voiceline of 2 tanks will be played the exact moment the tanks will spawn.
  • Decreased the minimum and maximum mob size while the gates are open during the finale.

Patch 1.3:

Hi everyone, based on your feedback about 2nd and 4th map, here are the changes.

Changes:

2nd map:
  • Increased the time gap between mob spawns during the event.
  • Decreased the mob minimum and maximum size during the event.
  • Decreased the maximum amount of common infected during the event.
  • Added fix item spawns at the event.
  • Fixed a bug that a hint did not show up when you used the locked door at the event.
3rd map:
  • Made "stringtabledictionary" due to crash.
  • Replaced a fixed grenade launcher spawn from a hidden spot to the supplies before the event.
  • Decreased the maximum amount of common infected during the event.
  • Decreased the hunter and jockey spawn limit from 2 to 1 during the event.
  • Decreased the mob minimum and maximum size during the event.
  • Increased the time gap between mob spawns during the event.
  • Changed the fog volume at the bar.
4th map:
  • From now on, there are 2 separate scripts that handle the whole finale, 1 before the scavenge and 1 during the scavenge.
  • Increased the time gap between mob spawns during the finale.
  • Increased the respawn time of special infected.
  • Decreased the size of mobs during the finale.
  • Decreased the maximum amount of common infected during the scavenge.
  • Added fix item spawns to the second area around the ammo.
  • Increased the time delay between the horde and 2 tanks, so the players can get ready for it.
  • The mounted gun on the second area is now usable.
  • Added 2 fix spawn first-aid kits in the scavenge area.
  • Added a weapon upgrade spawn in the scavenge area (including laser sight).
  • Removed mob spawns during a tank.

Hi everyone, here are the next fixes, changes.

Changes:

2nd map:
  • Increased the time gap between mob spawns during the event.
  • Increased the respawn time of special infecteds during the event by 4 seconds.
3rd map:
  • Removed even more props due to crash issues. [ed_alloc no free edicts error]
  • Increased the respawn time of special infecteds during the event by 4 seconds.

If you have crash issues while playing on 3rd map, please let me know if you were using mods or not. I had no crashes without mods while playtesting it, but I'm gonna check for more possibilities to solve this issue, and thank you again for playing the map.

Patch 1.1:

Thank you for your feedbacks, here are the changes and bugfixes.

Changes:

1st map:
  • Added pain-pills spawns at the beginning of the map.
  • Added another only-pistol spawn at the beginning of the map.
2nd map:
  • Added first-aid kits at the beginning of the event.
  • Slightly reduced the number of zombies spawning during event.
  • Fixed the toilet doors on multiple places.
3rd map:
  • Increased the time gap between mob spawns on horde event.
  • Reduced the maximum amount of zombies' spawn during horde event.
  • Removed some unnecessary props due to crash issues. [ed_alloc no free edicts error]
  • Fixed the missing textures of custom models.
  • Fixed the issue of missing roofs on some houses.
  • Reduced the time to wait until Rachel starts to greet you
  • Increased the range of Rachel's sound.
4th map:
  • Increased the range of glowing effect of mozzle prop.
  • Added a hint after completing the second area.
  • Slighty reduced the maximum amount of zombies' spawn during the whole finale.
  • Added some item and upgrade spawns(including laser).
  • Fixed a bug that puddle effects were not visible.

  • Slightly increased the chance of item spawns on every map.
  • Made "stringtabledictionary" due to potential crash.
