Update: Aug 28, 2023 @ 3:29am

Patch Notes:

-Horse masses recalibrated to better reflect the horses of the time period.
-Physics calculations for collision damage have been redone. Collision damage now scales linearly with the mass and acceleration of the unit to better match real-life physics.

Update: Aug 9, 2023 @ 2:00am

Patch Notes:

-Very slightly increased infantry collision size to better match their models.
-Slightly increased cavalry collision size to better match their models.
-Fixed an issue where a certain entity class had a slower than desired turning speed.

Additionally, a variant of this mod designed specifically for Vanilla Rome II is now out!

Update: Aug 1, 2023 @ 4:37pm

Patch Notes:

-Unit maneuverability and turning speed now directly correlates with unit mass.
-Lighter units will be able to flexibly navigate across the battlefield, while heavier units will feel sturdier in their movements.
-African Forest Elephant mass reduced in accordance to better match the extinct, lighter breed used by Carthaginians.

Update: Jul 31, 2023 @ 6:16am

PATCH NOTES:

-Increased the mass of Indian Elephants to better match historical and real-life sources. They should now correctly be heavier and more imposing than their African Forest Elephant counterparts.

Update: Jul 30, 2023 @ 11:32am

PATCH NOTES:

-Chariot mass now accounts for the "Mighty Knockback" trait given to all chariots in DeI. This means chariot mass has been reduced across the board. Chariots will still be deadly, but less so than before, and will ideally feel more balanced.
-Chariot rotation speed reduced.
-Chariot collision adjusted to better match model size.

Update: Jul 26, 2023 @ 11:08pm

-Revised elephant mass values to better match the real-life historical masses of the elephants of the time.

Update: Jul 24, 2023 @ 8:12am

-Refined unit collisions. Expect all units to charge together and fight together more cohesively.
-Infantry on infantry charge impacts will now vary based on whether they have organized/unorganized battle lines.
-Organized battle lines will now fight together and maintain formation better.
-Unorganized battle lines will now break through opposing battle lines more easily.
-Cavalry, Elephant, and Chariot charges against infantry will now more realistically impact, stagger, and knockdown units.
-Chariots will now have a harder time turning, but their collision radius has been expanded to allow for easier line breakthroughs.
