VIP 5.14 patch notes

- Knights CS increased from 36 to 38
- Teutonic Knights CS reverted to vanilla (37>39)
- Frankish Knights CS increased from 39 to 41
- Haras CS increased from 36 to 38
- Ghanaian Camels CS increased from 36 to 38
- Mortars CS reduced from 40 to 33
- Mortars gained Sapper (+8 CS vs enemies inside fortifications)
- Mauryan Samnahaya now upgrades from nothing and into Dhanvi-Gaja
- Fixed vanilla bug that was causing Lumber Yard, Stoneworks, Watermill, Conveyor Belt and In-Situ Mine to generate industry in tiles even without any district that could exploit industry adjacent to them
- Reduced the impact of the number of players in Diplomat Star thresholds by about 37,5%, 30% and 25% for bronze, silver and gold stars respectively. This will make all diplomat stars easier to get, especially with higher player counts.

VIP 5.13 patch notes

- Adjusted the unit families and upgrade paths to match the new vanilla values and fix a few wrong upgrades.
- Adjusted a few unit families to create new upgrade paths.
- Anti Tank Gun CS increased from 52 to 56
- Contemporary Land Units Industry Cost rebalanced:
- AntiTank Gun industry cost reduced from medium to low
- APC industry cost increased from medium to high
- Commando industry cost increased from low to medium

- Goth Cavalry upgrades from both Heavy and Light Cavalry (introduced by VIP 4.09)
- Maori Tangata upgrade into Mortars (introduced by VIP 5.01)
- Bucaneers upgrade from Pikemen/Halberdier (introduced by VIP 5.02)
- Boomerang Throwers and Javelineers upgrade to Crossbowman (introduced by VIP 5.13)
- Jaguar Warriors upgrade now from Caralan Healers and Gaesati (introduced by VIP 5.13)
- Hunnic and Mongol Hordes upgrade into Dragoons and its replacements (introduced by VIP 5.13)
- Anti-Tank Guns upgrade into Main Battle Tank (introduced by VIP 5.13)

VIP 5.12 HOTFIX (savegame compatible):
- Fixed Train Stations not reducing trade maintenance
- Fixed Airports not reducing trade maintenace

Both effects were introduced in the Bonny update but weren't affecting players with the mod

- Updated mod to work with Bonny Patch 2 (v1.0.25.4263)
- Fixed bug that was sometimes preventing Biplanes to be built
- Increased Science collaboration treaty yields with IP in Classical and later eras - old formula was PopulationCount + DistrictCount * GlobalEra * PatronageShare, new formula is (PopulationCount + DistrictCount) * GlobalEra ^1.5 * PatronageShare ^ 0.5.
- Removed the extra +1 influence on Academy of Arts and Artist's Studio as their bug was fixed in Vanilla
- Ransack Yields increased from ((TechnologicalEra + 1) ^ 1.1 * BaseRansackValue + TradeRouteDestructionBonus) * RansackOwnershipFactor * RansackBountyGlobalFactor to ((TechnologicalEra + 0.8) ^ 2 * BaseRansackValue + 4 * TradeRouteDestructionBonus * TechnologicalEra ^ 2) * RansackOwnershipFactor * RansackBountyGlobalFactor. This will increase by a LOT the importance of protecting your trade routes as ransacking them will yield lots of money.
- Mughals Jama Masid industry per worker reduced from +2 to +1 to match the Joseon EQ
- Caribbean Pirates bonus from Poaching increased from 2% FIMS to 5% FIMS
- Removed the +15 stability effect in all cities from Wondrous Salt
- All Wondrous resources nerfed from +2% FIMS per access to +5% (flat)
- Added the 2% influence cost from Embassy Agreements to every agreement's tooltip. This is just a UI change to make it clearer, the cost was already in the mod.
- Fixed a tooltip bug with Vassal Income that was not mentioning the source of the income

Uploaded an EXPERIMENTAL patch. I really want to hear your opinion on these Neolithic changes.

- Neolithic starts now with 2 tribes instead of 1
- Neolitich Growth star requirement increased from 5 * Gamespeed to 3 + 4 * Gamespeed

- Hotfixed Argentinian Salted Beef to work again
- Added 6 CS to Biplanes (51 -> 57) so they can survive better against anti-air and more modern fighters
- Increased by 6 (from 10 to 16) the CS penalty from bombardment on Fighter planes (so Biplanes bombard is unchanged, but both Monoplane Fighter and Reisen now are weaker on bombardment). This does not affect Strategic Bombers, Multirole Fighters nor the American Lightning.

- Reverted the trade upkeep formula to vanilla and added a 30% linear discount to trade upkeep. This fixes the UI problems with the trade screen the mod was introducing.
- Fixed "resource being sold" incompatibilities by reverting the French Exhibition hall and Knowledge Authorities' Foreign Innovations effects to vanilla.
- Fixed a bug introduced by the mod that was making the USA LT's influence effect not work
- Changed the "Damage Received" UI text to "Damage Resisted" to match the actual effect of the modifier
- Fixed Han's Paper Mill UI description
- Fixed Han's Paper Mill which was providing 0 paper instead of 1
- Fixed Cubans's Empresa Farmaceutica which was providing 0 pharmaceuticals instead of 1

- Removed the gamespeed modifier to the increased lifetime based on patronage. It was causing a Turn Pending bug.
- Fixed a visual bug in the Tech Tree that was making it look weird in Contemporary
- Capped Placate cost at 30 leverage

- Research Institute now requires Amphibious Warfare and not Trench Warfare
- Adjusted tech tree UI to match the new Research Institute prerequisite
- Coal Generators reworked to +1 Industry on worker per Coal access and +1 pollution per Coal in Administrative Centers
- Uranium Radioisotopes reworked to +1 Science on researcher per Uranium access
- Cracking reworked to +1 Money on trader per Oil access and +1 Pollution per Oil in City Centers
- Aluminium Smelting reworked to +1 Food on farmer per Aluminium access
- Clean Coal reworked to -50% pollution on Administrative Centers

- Placate cost doubled for each ongoing war (so 5 leverage at peace, 10 at 1 war, 20 at 2 wars, 40 at 3 wars, so on and so forth)
- Reverted the Phoenician Birreme to be unlocked at Fishing, as Vanilla
- Removed the gamespeed modifiers to Independent People Patronage gains
- Added a gamespeed modifier to the increased lifetime based on patronage. This means that IPs that players are investing will take a longer time to go into decline in blitz and fast and normal speed, but roughly the same as vanilla in slow and endless speeds.
- Fixed vanilla bug that was preventing Artist Studio and Academy of Arts to be built by adding 1 influence to each.
- Increased the AI willingness to research both Encyclopedia and Nationhood, in order for them to not be pushovers in the late game in defensive wars
