Main Features in Version 3.0.50
Enhancements
  • Path Distance - Cache node link graph and new path distance panel (Ctrl+8) for significantly better path distance performance. Path distance is now the default match option.
  • Complete overhaul of the "Override Sick Handler" option to try and increase the consequences when there is not enough medical facilities in your city.
    - Sick now die (50% chance) when the timer runs out rather than move away from their house, and the timer can run all the way to 255 like the dead timer.
    - The sick timer is now automatically used on non-residential buildings with a new option to display a sad notification over these buildings to help identify them.
    - Additional controls for the rate of walking and medical helicopter usage.
  • Sick Citizen Generator - Don't want those shiny new high capacity hospitals sitting there doing absolutely nothing? There is now a slider setting to randomly make people sick.
  • Added "Employ Overeducated Workers" setting to general tab, when enabled citizens will occasionally apply for lower level jobs.
    You should no longer need to subscribe to the "Employ Overeducated Workers V2" mod although it is still compatible if you still want to use it.
  • Settings - New Distance tab and added Worker* and Student* for global distance restriction.
  • Building panel - Draw service distance restriction circle when set, green/purple for local, yellow for global.
  • Improved FindHospital patch and added ability to disable it in Advanced tab.
    This new implementation improves compatibility with the Real Time mod, by t1a2l, which also applies a patch to the FindHospital function.

Design Changes
  • Vanilla sick handler is now the default option.
  • District selection panel - Now lists selected districts only instead of all districts. Districts can be added/removed by clicking on them with the mouse.
  • AddCrimeOffer now adds offer from priority 1 instead of 2. This will increase police vehicle usage but reduce crime rates in the city.
Bug Fixes
  • Outside Connections - Always generate different outside connection names.
  • Transfer Restrictions - Apply distance restrictions from the buildings position rather than the offers position (eg. Post Van, Hearse), prevents vehicles progressively matching further away.
  • Transfer Manager - Added check for IT Zone office goods offer and fallback to MatchOfferPriority as it transfers magically.
  • Vehicle tab - Fixed counts information for several building types (Prison, Incineration plant, Pumping station).
