*******************
Note about the Changeling: Consider also using the Battle AI fix for the Changeling, compatible with AI General 3. It's a separate mod because the issue exists even in the vanilla game, whether you use AI General 3 or not. The fix applies regardless of whether the Changeling is you or the enemy, and some players might not want a tougher enemy Changeling.

*******************
Note about the Jade Dragon: Even in the un-modded vanilla game, the AI never transforms Yuan Bo into the Jade Dragon during battle. Yuan Bo's human form is already a melee expert, so maybe the AI Usage omission by CA was intentional? You can use this to Let battle AI use Jade Dragon form.
*******************

- Recognizes new transformations from the Shadows of Change DLC (the Changeling and Yuan Bo). Shortly after a transformation, the new form should be given to the AI if and only if the AI had control of the old unit before the transformation.

- Supports other mods registering if they create transformation abilities that allow multiple secondary forms, whether random or pre-determined like the Changeling. (Registering doesn't make the AI smarter, it just makes it so the new form is recognized to be the same unit as the previous form for determining whether the AI should control it.) To be recognized, the transformation must be reversible (so the secondary form must have the ability to transform back to the original form). If you have questions about registering it with this mod, feel free to ask.

Update: Jun 23, 2023 @ 4:33pm

- If you use the config setting or the hotkey that automatically gives routing units to the AI when they rally, AI General will now also automatically take over units that recover from rampaging.

(Units that were given to the AI before they started rampaging should stay under AI control, like before. Units that were not given to the AI will return to your control unless you use the setting or hotkey.)

Update: Jun 13, 2023 @ 5:50pm

- Minor bugfix for visibility of behavior icons when using certain specific configuration settings.
- The mod manager will no longer say this is out of date for the current game version.

Update: Apr 14, 2023 @ 11:26pm

- No changes. Updated so that the mod manager won't say it is out of date.

Update: Feb 16, 2023 @ 8:13pm

Hotfix to fix a bug that was causing a script break if you used the Legacy MCT with the update a few hours ago. Now both Legacy MCT and New MCT should work. Thanks @Druski for the bug report.

Update: Feb 16, 2023 @ 4:10pm

- Added the mod's image to the new MCT, and told MCT this mod's Steam id (MCT uses this to create a link to the mod's Steam page).

- Minor change to the names of the hotkeys.

Update: Feb 12, 2023 @ 12:32pm

Reverted to the Jan 5 version. The new MCT update fixed the dropdowns. Thanks Groove Wizard! (The legacy version also still works as it did before.)

Update: Feb 12, 2023 @ 12:07pm

- Fixes MCT dropdown text in the new version of MCT so that they use localized text like they are supposed to and like they did in the legacy version of MCT.

Update: Jan 5, 2023 @ 9:47pm

- Added modder_API_uc_manager to enhance compatibility with other mods using Unit Controllers. Improves compatibility with my mod Aerial Pursuit for WH3.

- Updated the default config file to reflect the option added last patch. Minor related clean up.

- In the options menu, "Save Camera Bookmark #" will now appear as "Save Bookmark # / [AI General hotkey description]". (Note that if you are using a language other than English, this does not automatically translate. You can use a translation submod if you'd like.)

Update: Dec 11, 2022 @ 11:11pm

- Added a new configuration option: enable_during_walled_siege_battles. By default AI General is enabled in all battles, but you can set this new option to false (or uncheck it in MCT) if you don't want AI General to affect walled siege battles. I added this option because there have been reports that this mod is sometimes causing crashes during siege battles. I have not been able to reproduce this on my computer, so I haven't been able to diagnose or fix the problem. Unfortunately, giving you the option to disable this mod during siege battles is the best solution that I can think of for now.

- Fixed a bug that was causing the AI button to use the wrong setting for newly summoned units.
