i'm RJ. i worked on tokyo rumble for something like a year straight? i've really lost track, but this project was what really ignited my passion for board games into something bigger and it was a lot of fun!
so i'm going to come back and give this game my dues because it really did change my life- that starts with making it playable again... and THAT starts with the rules being remade! gigantic thanks again to Ryan, who honestly has an insurmountable passion for this game that eclipses mine at times

You heard that right. This is my update, completely and only me. For those who don't know, I have made tons of cards and sent them to Jin as ideas to add to the game, but all they ever did was sit around inside a folder and never actually made it in. So I thought, what not just add them myself? So, I sat down and added all the old characters I made that I found were still viable in the game today, and even remade some of them for better text formatting and such. And so, the Ryan Update was born. Let's get on to the roster.

along with a rules rewrite... is what I would say. At some point, while this update was in the works, the Tokyo Rumbles rules doc got nuked. After the rewrite. Ouch. Needless to say, I'll be working on that before the next update gets pushed. Speaking of, that next update is going to be Jujutsu Kaisen! Gojo and Sukuna are already here, but more characters are inbound (and might include minor spoilers for the Culling Games, so be wary). For now, please enjoy a rewrite of the Techniques system and some new characters voted on by other players... except for Power, who will be unceremoniously introduced in a future update because I forgot to finalize her before the update. Oops.

• Gohan (Young) - Gotta love the Cell Games

• Ichigo Kurosaki (Dangai) - A little bit of love for Bleach. Thousand Year Blood War will get its own update at some point, so here's something to tide you over until that happens.

• Sukuna (Shibuya Incident) - I hope you like Fuga.
