Update: Dec 23, 2016 @ 9:16pm

Small update with 9 new roles and 4 new items! Just in time for Christmas!

- Changes -

Items are now single cards instead of separate decks. They are in a deck of their own at the bottom of the table.

Deputy's card art has been changed.

Roles that have just been added to the game will now have a "NEW" tag in the Role Picker.

There's a snowflake on the center of the table that makes it snow. It's under the basic deck. If you want to turn off the weather effects, right-click on the snowflake, and set the looping effect to 1.

- New Roles: -

Village:

Baker - Every night, the baker can give a player bread. When the baker dies, a famine will kill all players without bread after the second night.

Elf - Every night, the elf can visit another player. That player recieves either a gun, body armor, or a report. This item is chosen at random.

Reporter - Every night, the reporter can give a player a report. The report can reveal a player's alignment.

Mafia:

Chauffeur - Chooses two players each night. Anyone who visits the chauffeur's first target instead visits the second. Likewise, anyone who visits the chauffeur's second target will now target the chauffeur's first.

Lawyer - Every night, the lawyer can visit a player. Any investigative role that visits that player will be roleblocked instead.

Saboteur - Every night, the saboteur can visit a player. That player will not be able to use guns, body armor, or reports for the following day and night.

Third-Party:

Pirate - Every night, the pirate can visit another player. If that player has a treasure card, the pirate kills that player and takes the treasure card. Wins if he's still alive when another team wins AND is also holding a treasure card.

Santa Claus (suggested by cbman) - Every night, Santa Claus can give a player a gift. When Santa Claus dies, all other players that have a gift will also die. Wins if all players that are still alive are holding a gift.

Turncoat - When another player attempts to kill the turncoat, the attempt fails. If the killer was a village sided player, the turncoat turns into a mafia. If the killer was a mafia sided player, the turncoat turns into a villager. If the killer was a third-party role, the turncoat becomes an amnesiac. Wins if he's still alive when another team wins.

Items:

Bread - (Given by Baker) When you are about to die from a famine, you may reveal and discard this. If you do, you will not die from the famine.

Gift - (Given by Santa Claus) During the night, in place of using your night action (or after all other players have performed an action if you don't have a night action) you may give this card to another player. When Santa Claus dies, all other players that have a gift will also die.

Report - (Given by Reporter) During the night, after all other players have performed their night actions, you may choose a player and discard this card. You will learn that player's alignment.

Treasure - (Given when Pirate is in the game) During the night, after all other players have performed their night actions, you may give this card to another player. If you are killed while holding this item. Your killer recieves it. If you are lynched while holding this item, a random, non-pirate player recieves it. When the pirate dies, this card is discarded.

Update: Sep 1, 2016 @ 4:15pm

In this update: 13 new roles! HD cards! Lots of balance changes! There's even a banana!

- Changes -

All cards have been redesigned. Almost all of the artwork has been changed and the HD resolution will burn your eyes out.

Logo and image of the card backs and the steam page have been changed.

Made an addition to the rules for mafia meetings: If there is more than one mafia player, they must choose one person among them to send to their target to kill them.

Town Crier has been removed.

Cultist is now grouped with the new item cards at south side of the table.

- New Roles -

Village:

Banana - When any role visits a player who is a banana, the visiting player will know that his target is a banana.

Blacksmith - Every night, the blacksmith can give a player body armor. The body armor can protect a player from attacks once. The blacksmith can visit each player only once per game.

Coroner - Can visit a dead player once per game. If that player's role card has been hidden by the janitor, the coroner will learn the role of that player. If not, the coroner learns who visited his target the night he died.

Deputy - Can visit a player once per game. The deputy learns if his target is sided with either the village, the mafia, or neither. Like the cop, the deputy will not know his target's role. If a cop dies in any game the deputy is in, the deputy will become a cop, losing this role.

Governor - Once per game, during the day, when a lynch vote has passed, the governor may veto the lynch vote. Once vetoed, no one is lynched, and the game continues into the night phase.

Gunsmith - Every night, the gunsmith can give a player a gun. The gun can be fired during the day to kill someone.

Nurse - Once per game, can protect a player from death. If a doctor dies during the game, the nurse will assume the role of the doctor.

Sidekick - The first attempt to kill the sidekick will fail. If a vigilante dies during the game, the sidekick will assume the role of the vigilante.

Mafia:

Apprentice - Always appears as village sided player to cops. When a mafia sided player dies, the apprentice will become that player's role, losing this role.

Bookie (suggested by cbman)- Can choose a player each night. If that player is lynched during the next day, the mafia can kill two players instead of one during the following night. This bonus can be gained once per game, and once gained, the bookie cannot visit anyone during the night.

Politician - Once per game, can prevent all night actions for one night (including mafia players).

Thief - Every night, can steal an item from another player and give it to another player.

Third-Party:

Mole (suggested by cbman)- Wakes up with the mafia every night. Cannot speak during the day. Can vote, but it does not count toward a lynch. The mole cannot be killed by the mafia. Wins if he's still alive when another team wins.

Items:

Body Armor - (Given by Blacksmith) If a player tries to kill you, day or night, this card is discarded instead. A player may only have one body armor card at any one time and can only recieve one once per game.

Gun - (Given by Gunsmith) During the day, you may reveal the gun card and place it in front of a player. You will attempt to kill that player. If successful, that player dies immediatly.

- Existing role changes -

General:
- All village and mafia victory conditions have been reworded to include third-party threats.
- Arsonist, Serial Killer, and Werewolf victory conditions reworded slightly, they need to kill all village and mafia players to win.
- Miller and Godfather passive ability have been reworded to include cop-like roles, like the Jack-of-all-Trades.
- Ninja and Strongman's abilities can only be triggered once they have been sent out to kill someone.

Doctor: The doctor can now heal himself only once per game.

Silencer: Can now participate in mafia meetings.

Terrorist: No longer participates in mafia meetings. His kill can no longer be blocked by protective roles.

Arsonist: His kill can no longer be blocked by protective roles.

Lyncher: Cannot have a mafia member as a target.
