v1.4.0

New features and compatibility updates:
- added a subtle aura animation for the active ancient protective aura
- added SoS2 feature allowing ancient aura protected pawns to absorb incoming heat produced e.g. by incoming fire on shields and convert it into psychic heat for an aura protected pawn until their limit is reached or the pawn collapses due to psychic shock if overload is allowed. A new toggle/gizmo was added for aura protected pawns to enable ship protection (The conversion rate and the percentage of heat absorbed can be adjusted in mod settings)
- added SoS2 patch to avoid hypoxia for ancient aura protected pawns
- added feature to the ancient protective aura to regulate the protected pawn's body temperature in case of hypothermia or heatstroke
- all newly added features above can be fully disabled or adjusted in the mod's settings
- added further options for more silver exchange amounts for bounty credit
- excluded regrowth's wasteland biome from becoming a possible quest shrine location
- added winston waves compatibility patch separating story locations from the storyteller raid logic
- added improved Chinese translation by MZM_GOW

Fixes:
- fixed story quest breaking when worlds are switched (SoS2), however hostile factions seem to no longer be hostile to other npc factions after a world switch which is a current SoS2 bug, so possibly hold off with world switches during the story until that bug is resolved
- fixed silver exchanges for bounty credits in space (SoS2), trade beacons are no longer required
- likely fixed a compatibility issue in the bounty system's veteran generation in case used traits were disabled by other mods
- improved story pawn creation behavior to possibly avoid a rare incompatibility case
- adjusted roof for final boss room to be mountain roofed
- added option to leave invisible camp center behind when packing up the camp without leaving, so the control options to leave immediately can still be used (needs to be enabled in options)
- adjusted faction used for the prisoner in a caravan event to primarily be hostile to avoid faction relation changes
- added VFECore patch to ignore the no longer needed mech story faction in their faction dialog
- started preparations to safely remove the no longer needed friendly mech faction included in the mod
- reduced friendly quest caravan size
- fixed story quests being set to hidden when the colony is being moved during the archonexus quest
- excluded hidden and temporary factions from mechanoid bounty dialog
- allow insect meat option for automatic camp generation not correctly applying for butchering recipes
- fixed preselecting pawns or items to be automatically selected for the caravan screen not updating the weight value
- potentially avoided a rare case of the story pawn being generated naked in case of a mod incompatibility

- fixed bosses being instantly killable using a psychic shock lance on them
- fixed miner error that appeared when scythers called with the ancient mech signal spell died after loading a savegame

v1.3.2

Camping:
- added compatibility for the new caravan hitching post item used to form caravans added by the beta (not for 1.2)
- added mod options to allow storing and processing human and insect corpses, aswell as their meat for automatically applied storage zone and job use
- when human corpses/meat is allowed an extra job to burn tainted apparel is added to the camp fire

Story:
- added mod setting to story options allowing to set a number of days the story should additionally be delayed by
- added mod setting allowing to disable the quest faction starting help and apply max weapon biocode chance and DeathAcidifiers
- fixed tree whisper sound proceeding if the ancient gift is being denied and not accepted with another pawn

Story Abilities:
- nerfed the ancient signal spell by reducing the default number of called scythers to 2-4
- added mod settings allowing to set the amount of scythers to be called by the ancient mech signal spell
- moved the melee attack hit chance and half of the dodge chance from the protective aura to the ancient gift to render the coordinator boosted protective aura a bit weaker and complement melee combat capabilities for the gifted pawn a bit more earlier on
- added missing melee attack speed buff label in the hediff for the ancient gift (introduced in 1.3.1)
- added missing caravan speed boost label in the hediff info for the mystical guiding light spell (not for 1.2)

Mechanoid bounty:
- acquired veterans now gain the main ideology of the player faction (not for 1.2)

Story:
- limited sacrileg hunters to ideology memes that make sense (not for 1.2)
- added option to set the sacrileg hunter faction hostile or friendly towards natural enemy factions (not for 1.2 yet)
- reduced bounty on the endboss as the player additionally gains reward bounty credits for finishing the story

Story Abilities:
- added an attack speed buff for melee attacks to the ancient gift, can be adjusted in mod settings
- switched the used faction for the ancient mech signal spell from the added friendly mech faction to the player faction; the added mech faction is no longer in use and may be removed in a future update
- added mod setting allowing to disable slaves to be included in the Ancient Coordinator spell (not for 1.2)
- added compatibility avoidance entries in the CompatibilityDef for the Ancient Coordinator spell which allows to add races or mod def extensions of races to exclude them from the coordinator ability

Camping:
- added an option to disable the settlement proximity goodwill impact when camping close to other faction's settlements
- improved item sorting and placement for storage tents so items should now be more correctly grouped together
- improved storage tent calculation to better fit the amount of storage tents needed
- added a light source to camp trade beacons so players using mods that reduce the ambient light at night can still see what's stored there
- removed packaged survival meals from foods to be stored in the freezer tent, as they don't spoil
- improved approximate camping supply cost indicator shown on the "settle with camp" icon
- improved camp generation to cancel the generation correctly if the camp center couldn't be built
- improved camp generation to not use supplies for tents that couldn't be built

Travel Companions:
- added mod setting allowing to exclude slaves from the travel companion feature (not for 1.2)
