HOTFIX: Hertz Province Patrols V 1.73

Bretonnia was still counting all of their patrols to the peasant count.

  • Patrols units are not counted when calculating the faction peasant bonuses

Now the counter in the UI still counts up, this is not something I can fix easily and is fairly stuck in there. but the peasant economy should be unaffected

Patch Notes Lore Series: Hertz Province Patrols V 1.7

This patch aims to catch all cases of patrols not getting orders, or patrols dissapearing/dying without a trace. Next to this the province patrol setup for the empire and high elves have been edited.

Edited the empire province patrol pool

  • Removed Reiksguard from empire province patrol pool
  • Removed Mortar and Cannons from empire province patrol pool
  • Added empire knights to empire province patrol pool
  • Added flagellents to empire province patrol pool
  • Added Handgunners to empire province patrol pool

Edited the High Elves province patrol pool
  • Removed Ellyrian Reavers from the random units pool
  • Removed Ellyrian Reaver Archers from the random units pool
  • Added Silver Helms to the random units pool
  • Added Silver Helms (with shields) to the random units pool

Patrol commands could be dropped when interupted by other events or functions. I added a safety net that checks if patrols have moved yet and wil try to re do the commands to move patrols
  • Patrol moved tracker added in script
  • Added a check for patrol positions to look if a patrol moved yet
  • If any patrol failed to move, script will wait 3 second before reattempting.
  • Patrol no longer fires its commands twice
  • Fixed a crash when the game tried to order a patrol that started replenishing in the same turn

Province patrols replenish units that are missing units due to battle or capital settlement upgrade, there is no longer an event that alerts the player that an army has been killed, and will instead show an incident event informing the player that the patrol is replenishing its units.
  • Removed killed in battle event after unit replenished.
  • Added incident informing the player units are replenishing.


Dilemma events didnt always fire when a province patrol was defeated with a similar or smaler force when the enemy province patrol was standing on the edge of the province or moved outside te province when defeated.
  • Patrol defeated dilemma now targeting region enemy province patrol was in when battle is intiated
  • If region target does not match the province the patrol was in (retreated outside the province) game will pick the region attacker force is in
  • If no suitable region was found, no dilemma will trigger.

Patch Notes Lore Series: Hertz Province Patrols V 1.6

Spend some time to add some more functionality to the orders patrols receive. This is done since in some cases patrol orders would get skipped. This will re order the patrols if it first fails
Next to that I have edited the empire unit province pool, and how dilemmas are triggered.
