I've seen a lot of people arguing about the items being too op.
I don't think all of them are extremely powerful. I agree some of them are pretty unbalance or that they trigger their effects much more often of what it was planned to. Also a few effects may not fit with the item's theme so, all in all, here is my attempt to balance some of them.

- Rebalanced Valefar (again): Now grants +3 luck. Allows stealing as before but Isaac will instantly die when reaching negative luck. Now it costs 2 hearts.
- Agares: Earthquake chance on enemy kill is now 1 in 100 (1 in 25 before). It's still common to see an earthquake but not that much. Now it grants 2 black hearts.
- Baphomet: Slightly reduced speed, shot speed, range and luck bonus.
- Paimon: Removed homing tears. Now it costs 1 heart.
- Lucifer: Black hearts from 3 to 2. The boost lasts 2 seconds now and tear delay bonus is reduced to 2. Lucifer was meant to be a very strong item and still is.
- Asmodeus: Speed bonus reduced to 0.4. Asmodeus no longer protects Isaac from explosions.
- Valac: Perhaps one of the most powerful items when it comes to clearing rooms fast. Now, when dealing damage to one enemy, the others of the same type will receive the same amount of damage (as before) but halved.
- Astaroth: Now it doesn't give 2 black hearts.
- Marbas: Damage bonus depends on how many hearts Isaac has. The more, the better. Now it costs 1 heart.

- General coding improvements that should fix several lag issues
- Asmodeus' luck boost now only works if the source damage is the player or an incubus
- Buer speed bonus reduced to 0.25
- Aamon now spawns less flames when activated
- Bael is now more likely to charm enemies
- Valefar's cost reduced to 1 heart
- Belial is no longer a special item
- Belial's effect is now permanent on the Lost
- Reworked Belial's costume (still pretty similar to the original but bloodier)
- Lucifer's chance to spawn a friendly demon reduced to 25%
- Slightly changed some tears up effects
