Updated to 2.7

  • Tweaked AI peace acceptance values.
    • Occupation factor reduced to 750 (from 800)
    • Relative navy strength factor reduced to 500 (from 600)

  • War exhaustion gain reduced*
    • Army war exhaustion gain reduced by 25% (40% -> 30% of vanilla)
    • Attrition gain reduced by 37.5% (40% -> 25% of vanilla)
    • Attrition size div reduced by 37.5% (40% -> 25% of vanilla)
    * Please keep in mind that war exhaustion is scaled down by a factor of 5 compared to vanilla

  • Increased AI surrender acceptance for no CB war goal.
  • Early surrendering a no CB war against you now gives half of the humiliation penalties (instead of full), however any bordering systems with claims will also be ceded.
  • Expanded the list of requirements for a surrender to be counted as early (from just ≤6% (30%) war exhaustion):
    • Defending war exhaustion is no more than 6% (30%)
    • Defending side has less than 3 occupied planets
    • Defending side has no occupied capital planets
  • Added tooltips for surrendering a no CB war.
  • Declaring a no CB war will now always give you 4% (20%) war exhaustion, regardless of how many planets you and your allies own.

  • Call for peace can now be disabled at the start of the game.
  • Call for peace can now occur for both sides at less than 45% war exhaustion (instead of being limited to one side), and has a higher chance of occuring if the other side has it.
    • This means that waiting for the enemy to get a call for peace and killing them after they get hit with high war exhaustion penalties will be more unlikely.

  • Economic categories updated
  • Due to the change in how edicts work in 2.7 (mainly 0-length edicts now lasting 1 day), the "Check War Exhaustion" edict has been changed to be toggleable, however it cannot be manually disabled (closing the event will automatically disable it after 1 day).
  • High war exhaustion and call for peace alerts will now no longer pop up the first time they occur.
  • Events to enable no CB wars and call for peace will now occur 1 year after game start, if only AI countries exist (instead of never).
  • Added global flag bettrwar_enabled
