How the TEK Hazard Protection works is simple.. When you equip a full set of TEK armour, you will receive the Hazard protection buff the same way as the Hazmat Suit, but rather than draining durability (as the hazmat suit does) this will drain element from the suit.

Key Features: Radiation.

• Drains Element.. not durability.
  
• If there is no element in at least on piece of the TEK armour, the protection will malfunction and you will take radiation damage.
  
• Drains Element at a rate of 1 piece of element approximately every 20 minutes per piece of armour.
