Update 3.3

New Mods
  • Added 9 new Pets from Mamba's Pet Collection - Also got rid of some Pets that I found a little boring, in order to clear up some space for the new ones. In addition, the file structure for all Pet Essences were completely redone, and the ones previously in your inventory will be removed. Prices are lowered for the new Essences.

  • Added Expanded Estherian Enclave created by Bandit - This allows you to walk down the stairs at the top-right corner of the Enclave for a brand new area of the Town, and provides unique merchants for Fish and Gems. The Pet Essence merchants and the Endless Dungeon Portal were also moved down there.

Removed the Eternal Realm - Extreme Map from the Endless Dungeon mod as it was causing an Online conflict with Synergies.

Will hopefully fix in a later patch.

Update 3.2

New Mods
  • BagMod - This new inventory system replaces BigBagMod. The key difference is that now the Pet will have the same extra pages in its inventory that the Player does. This means that Essentials will no longer conflict with other Pet mods that use the vanilla inventory system. So for example, if you wanted to put SynergiesMOD above this mod, you'll be able to transfer items to your Pet with no problems. The modded Shared and Player Stashes from BigBagMod are still in effect.
  • Skills Use Left Mouse Button - This allows you to bind any usable Skill (not Passive) to your left mouse button. I have also added this function to the Tenebris class skills.
  • Full Respec - This modifies the UI of the Skill Respec NPC that is found in each Town Hub. The prices for getting a Skill Point back has been halved, and you'll be able to fully Respec your character if you Buyback 6 Skill Points.
  • Map Keybinds - This adds 6 key binds in the Control Menu that allow you to have more control of the Map. You can toggle the Map between 2 fixed displays (Minimap and Left/Center/Right), or hold a key to display the Map the way you like, and upon release it reverts back to the top-right corner.
  • Pet Return Window - Top Left - This moves the Pet Return window (the display that shows what your pet brought back from Town) to the top-left part of the screen, and makes it smaller. When your pet returns during battle, the window will no longer be such a big nuisance.
  • BugFix - Clears up a few things that improve the player experience. Welcoming banner added to Act IV, and improved audio for rings, amulets, pet tags and collars.
  • Global Rewards - This is a group of Quest Reward Spawnclasses that are a part of Class Quest Fix by Roalith. What they do is add 2 extra enchanted items to each group of Quest Rewards. This provides each Quest with 5 items to choose from, no matter what class you're playing. It also means if you're playing a modded class that has a broken Quest Reward system, you'll at the very least get 2 items to select from. This replaces iQuestRewards.

  • [Golden Chest] with Uniques now has a merging Spawnclass, which means it will no longer conflict with Synergies, or any other mod. Same goes for the Unique Set Items that can be found in Boss Chests.
  • Added new Pets from SirJakeTheRandom's Pets mod - Bat, Dragon Spirit and Woodwraith, along with a new texture for the Ratlin - Also added the related Pet Essences to Xev's inventory.
  • Added the Boss Pets Fish to the inventory of the Xev merchant that sells Enhanced Essences (Goblin), and increased the length of their effects to one hour.
  • Updated The Endless Dungeon with the flickering Dungeon name problem fix by Bandit.
  • Updated Unique Beams - Level items, such as Golden Keys, now have a purple beam of light shining over them.

Update 3.1

New Mods
  • Better Sorting - Now when you organize your Inventory, Weapons and Armor are sorted by quality (Legendaries at top, then Uniques, Rares, and everything else), it also sorts Gems by their own kind. Really helps keep your loot organized and simple to sift through.
  • Potion and Spell Vendors - This supplements the other Potion and Spell Vendor mods already included. This adds 2 new potions that increase Gold Find, and 2 potions that increase Experience Gained, for a limited amount of time, to the Collector of Fine Things merchants (Acts 2-4 Gem-sellers).
  • Unique Item Beams - Each time a Unique (Orange) item drops on the ground, a beam of light shines down from the sky over it.
  • Boss Pets - Only a small part of my original mod is included. There are rare Fish to find that turns your Pet into one of 5 Bosses for a 20 minute duration - Starter Pets and Permanent Fish are not included.
  • Dark UI (Globes Only} - I've replaced the Health and Mana Globes from Better Orbs by galder666, with the more detailed Globes from the Dark UI mod.

Updates / Changes / Misc.
  • Updated TorchlightPets - contains a new Pet (Navi from Zelda), and brand new idle dialogue and attack sounds for Claptrap - Claptrap now speaks to you!
  • Fixed bug where the Pet Avatar would get stuck casting the Magma Spear.

    Please note: If you were already using the Avatar as your Pet, you may need to feed him an Avatar Essence for his changed attack skill to function properly.
  • Made a couple of tweaks to the HUD - HP and MP indicator text now uses the font type from Pretty Damage, and is now colored white, to go better with the new Globes.
  • Did a Overhaul of the way Spawnclasses from Essentials interact with all of the Blacksmiths and Merchants. All of the modded items (Potions and Spells) contained in Essentials will merge with the Merchant inventories, no longer conflicting with and overwriting other mods.
  • I also merged the iQuestRewards mod, instead of having it overwrite the default files. Therefore it won't conflict with other class mods anymore, and you'll get extra reward items to choose from from some Quests with the vanilla classes :)

Update 3.0

New Mods
  • The Endless Dungeon - Portals that lead to an awesome Bottomless Dungeon are now available in each Act and Mapworks. Has about 30 different environments all randomly selected, some not found in vanilla.
  • Clear Minimap - Cleans the Minimap HUD in the top-right corner by removing the surrounding circle outline, making it look crisper.
  • Pretty Damage - New font type for Floating Damage and Text Detail (Text for Damage, Block/Parry, Mana stolen, Gold pickup, etc.).
  • iQuestRewards - Makes it so each item from most Quest Rewards are Enchanted. No more worthless White items to ignore.
  • Ratlin Pet - Added the Ratlin from the new Pets mod by SirJakeTheRandom. Other 2 pets are not included.

  • Removed Forbidden Vault (Endless Dungeon) because it has been replaced by the new Endless Dungeon by Wayback
  • Updated Reiners Gear - A new Level 99 Armor Set to be on the look out for

  • Created new Pet Essences for the pets of other mods - Claptrap, Boxcat, Companion Cube and the Ratlin
  • Fixed all Pet Essences that conflicted with starting pets with certain modded skins
  • Got rid of the Equipment Comparison window for Rings on your Pet because it cluttered the screen and was confusing to look at. Hopefully will create a new window for a future patch.
  • Fixed merge bug with Xev's Pets - Pet Essence merchants are now available in Act 3

New Mods
  • Aegis Crypt - New Dungeon to explore, with new enemies, puzzles and level designs, available in Mapworks
  • Item Affix Expansion - Adds a nice variety of affixes / stats / procs on loot, to make things more interesting. Any kind of item (green, blue, orange) now could have just the stat you're looking for
  • Proper Wolf - Adds new enhanced Pets (Bulldog, and 3 different Wolves) to aid you in battle. Available from the Goblin pet merchant (Krenko, Xev's Assistant)
  • Golden Chest - Now every Locked and Ornate Chest found throughout the game will always drop one Unique item
  • Rainbow Redux (Misc.) - Provides new color palettes for item icons, as well as a new item overlay that really accents the type of item (enhanced, magic, unique, legendary) you have

Updates / Changes / Misc.
  • Added Infinite Waypoint Portal and Infinite Identify Scrolls that are available from the main merchant in Mapworks (Chewtoy). They have unlimited uses, but will cost a pretty penny.
  • Used the layouts provided by the awesome Bandit that adds a couple inventory slots to the Map Merchant. Now has 3 pages of Maps instead of 1.
  • Also thanks to Bandit's Dungeon Master mod, every Boss Chest will spawn a random unique set item.
  • Made the Goblin Fish Wacker Staff only available while fishing. Will no longer clog up your staff loot table.
  • Made some tweaks to the HUD, as well as incorporated icaruspade's Dragonborn Charge Bar for the Tenebris.

  • Forbidden Vault - an endless Dungeon available in the Estherian Enclave
  • Eternal Mysteries - a challenge Dungeon available from general goods merchants, and from a rare scroll drop
  • Fish Details - Adds informative description to vanilla fish (tells you the stat buffs and special abilities your pet gains)
