Gigastructural Engineering & More Version 3.26.0 Hotfix 2:

• Frame World Planetary Outposts shouldn't be broken any more. Seems a change to vanilla kinda broke them, so they have pops now! Specifically one pop, so that the colony doesn't get destroyed. They still work exactly the same as before, though. Still no planet interactions, or anything like that.

Gigastructural Engineering & More Version 3.26.0 Hotfix 1:

• I forgor the checksum

Gigastructural Engineering & More Version 3.26.0:

• Updates and bug fixes to move Gigas to 3.6!
• More bug fixes
• Even more bug fixes
• Sentient metal component stats tweaked to be in line with vanilla, one tier up from best vanilla components (1.3x stats)
• Different sizes have different fire rates, all that stuff
• Attack Mons and Pl*netcraft now have less aux slots, and only on the last section. However, sections with smaller weapons get more aux, like vanilla changed for some sections.
• Mons get as many PD as they do S slots now. Still pending a proper rework.
• Fixed some typos and added a line about how nobody knows why the Kaiser insists on calling a part of Flusion "Lyuinstaat"

Birch Rework by TTFTCUTS:
• Reworked the Birch World. This is a full overhaul which has radically changed how the birch works, turning it from a muddy soup of jobs into a far more flexible and customisable late game option. It's also more potent than it used to be, and with enough pops can be more potent than the Alderson.
• Uses a new job size mechanic, so most jobs on the birch are three times as effective as normal.
• Birch districts are now separated into insulae and sectors, with the existing Ktisma and Physma insulae joined by the Orykta insula, which replaces Extraction Operations. You get 1 insula slot per 100 pops.
• Insulae provide a chunk of basic jobs and 10 slots for corresponding sectors which each replace some of those jobs.
• For example, the Ktisma Foundry Sector uses the slots provided by the Ktisma insula and replaces some basic jobs with Metallurgists.
• Orykta sectors deal with energy, minerals, dark matter and negative mass.
• Ktisma sectors deal with alloys, consumer goods, strategic resources, sentient metal, and supertensile materials.
• Physma sectors deal with food, research, unity, and trade.
• Each insula also provides a special manager job which buffs several jobs provided by that insula.
• Updated the Great Migration edict to use more modern mechanics. It now increases auto-resettlement chance by 1000%, but increases the destination chance of the birch by 10000%, so the pops are extremely unlikely to go anywhere else.

• Reworked the Birch World origin to be Decaying Birch World. This origin might best be considered a mix of Shattered Ring and Knights of the Toxic God. It is a narrative origin with a situation much like the knights, about exploring and reclaiming the ancient Birch World. It's not quite ready to use yet as some parts are unfinished, so it will be disabled for a few days while it's finished up.

• Reworked the Supermassive Birch Void Sphere (available when playing with Ancient Cache of Technologies) to bring it in line with the changes to the base Birch World... but honestly folks this thing is just silly, it has less detail than the normal birch because it's so powerful that it just doesn't need it. Who needs customisable sectors when Void Smiths make everything anyway?

• Added an easter egg when playing with ThaumStellaris, to be elaborated upon a little later.

Gigastructural Engineering & More Version 3.25.6 Hotfix 1:

• Fixed galactic core hyperlanes not spawning.

Opdatering: 27. okt. 2022 kl. 10:05

Gigastructural Engineering & More Version 3.25.6:

• Made sure reassigners on Elysium host worlds produce zombies
• Added 50 planet capacity to the Elysium host world modifier so they don't hit the "high pops" growth threshold so easily - host worlds are meant to get overcrowded by design and were slowing too early.
• Taught the blokkats to not bum-rush the galactic core, instead being more methodical about their harvesting pattern. They will now reach the system which was your capital at the time of their arrival nearly last, as originally advertised.
• Gigas now overwrites the planet UI in order to show up to 20 district types in the vanilla UI, so that UIOD is not strictly necessary for the Frame World and other planets with more than 5 district types. UIOD is still very much recommended, however.
• Aeternal Aiondia should now have its districts properly unlocked.
• Updated map icon/ship class image to match vanilla changes which were missed since 3.4(!).
• Fixed a few missing loc keys.
• Attack Moons, Planetcraft, and Systemcraft now inherit the names of the celestial bodies from which they were built.
• Added an easter egg referencing Arthur C. Clarke's 2010: Odyssey Two.
• Updated Chinese localisation, courtesy of VittorioVeneto.

Note: Due to the UI change above, you should now make sure to load UIOD after Gigastructures, or you'll get our tweaked vanilla planet UI instead of theirs.

Gigastructural Engineering & More Version 3.25.5:

• Restored the missing Toxoid room.
• Added Mutagenic Spas values for the various Gigas industrial districts. Supertensiles and refinery districts also count. Frame World district count may have diminishing returns applied in future, pending testing and updates to its mechanics.
• Elysium host capitals now provide spa attendants and equivalents for Mutagenic Spa empires.
• Elysian Overseer empires with the Anglers civic now start with their homeworld on rural designation as it gives them a better spread of jobs.
• Birch Physma districts no longer give 40 calculator jobs when they only gave 30 brain drone or researcher jobs. Seemed a little unfair...
• Birch structure districts now properly have swaps for catalytic processing.
• Void birch model no longer comically large (too large to even see)
• Added a colony automation entry for the Planetary Computer. Need to investigate this further though as it's not working quite right yet.
• Fixed and updated a load of gigas portrait entries to 3.5 standards.
• Fixed a typo which broke outliner icons for the ruined titanic, behemoth, and gargantuan ring worlds.
• Planetary computers and stabilised gas giants can now have Orbital Rings.
• Gas giant science districts now have a gas upkeep, because it was kinda silly that it was SO gas positive while also being super good at research, especially with the origin.
• Gas giant buildings now have no or reduced passive income but provide a job of their corresponding type.
• Buildings which use iodizium now have an iodizium construction cost, to make sure you (and the AI) can't accidentally build them without having some income first.
• District cost modifiers now have an icon (it was missing in the rogue AI planetary computer's blockers)
• Added missing loc string for the Overlord Supertensiles Engineers economic category.
• Added a resourceless icy asteroid belt to the Void Dweller start system, to let them use the Stellar Ring Habitat there.
• Planet and moon printers now maintain control group assignments and keep their place in the megastructure outliner section when printing a new ship.
• Orbital Elysium host worlds should now properly allow organic pop assembly in all cases.
• Added Supplementary Industrial Sector (Orbital Elysium host planet booster building) settings for several planet designations which were missing them, primarily hive and machine worlds.
• Added in 4 more Patreon Presets!
• Added a tool that can be used to print the code for your current configuration to make creating new presets much much easier!
• Began preparation for something for O class stars!
• Minor fixes for some preset things (will not impact existing presets)

Known issues:
• Due to a vanilla issue, many megas which should be hidden in the outliner are currently not - even ones which are hidden in vanilla, like gateways and relays. A potential fix is being investigated, but will hopefully be solved by Paradox for 3.6.
