[Round 2+] Freedom Planet 2 Ragdolls
Showing 1-6 of 6 entries

Final Round 2+
Spade air dashes in with flurry of cards in hand! About the same quality as Maria, alongside some terrible weight painting due to SFM's awful 3 bone per vertex limit. Oh, and one more minor thing, this is the last model I'll be making for Freedom Planet as a whole. Sorry! I wanna move on!

♠ Spade and his tools are in.
♦ (Round 1) [JDisc] Updated 飛 to have red accent.

Continuing Round 2+
Maria Notte swoops in for Round 2 plus, coming 5 years after the previous entry, she sports higher definition and detail compare to older models, but she's not perfect, with technical oddities here and there, I blame the ol' sauce engine for really showings its age here, so sue me. Anyways, come chat by the comment section and I hope ya'll have a great time.

♦ Maria and her nosy reporter stick now available.
♦ (Round 1) [JDisc] Updated from 跳 to 飛.

The usual quickfix
Also I moved some files around so the texture sharing with Round 1 should have less conflict

[Neera] Improved ragdoll handling.
[Neera] Reduced glossiness of eyes. This will soon apply to all other characters in the future.
[Staff] Changed material type from generic metal to "crowbar".

What's Round 2+?

Dubbed "Round 2 plus", models made after the initial set, features inconsistent qualities depending on how much better I get (no longer needing to confine within the consistency set by the bitter quality of older models). They will also have unpredictable production times as I no longer want to be feel obligated to keep making models for this series (boy, I think heard this one before). So, next character is now whenever before I die?

What's new with Round 2+ models:

♦ Now based on cutscene design instead of in-game sprites
♦ Vastly improved anatomy, topology and textures.
♦ Adjusted proportion. Consequently, slight dissonant with older models.
♦ Increased polygon budget (~20k)
♦ Tweaked HWM, results in wider range of facial expressions.
♦ Custom lightwarp, also already applied to older models.

Porting from SFM to Gmod has resulted in the following downgrades
- Jigglebones wouldn't work for some reason.
- Eyeposing isn't perfect, use noclip to get your desired eye positions.
