Version 2.3 - for M&T 2.02.04 (patch4).

Compatibility patch

Opdatering: 28. sep. 2017 kl. 18:09

Version 2.2 - for M&T 2.01.03 (patch3).

Major part of 1.0 integrated in the base M&T mod:

Slovaks are in west Slavic Group.
Swedes are part of Dano-Norwegian group.
Finns are in the Finnic group.
Bulgarians are part of Balkan Slavic group.
Albanians are in an isolated group (I wanted introduce it in the new update, seems fair, since Basques are isolated, though on a different level)

Update:

Crimean group renamed as Crimean Tatar

I think it just sounds better. I wanted to change original Finno-Ugric culture name to Finnic as well, as Warial suggested, but the Devs beat me to it.

Turkish culture renamed Anatolian Turkic. It was first proposed by FireKahuna, and I think it's proper.

Suri group renamed to Syrian - By many requests

Walloon culture is moved to Langue d'Oil group

This was a hard decision, and I'm still not 100% sure about it. However, considering all the information I was able to find and analyze, even knowing that Walloons were known to side with Flemish on many occasions, even against the northern Netherlands, I think it allows us to conclude that "siding" with someone was far from main reason to assign culture groups. Being closer to dutch, Flemish eventually stood against them in many regards, eventually gaining independence as part of Belgium. This, I'm forced to mostly disregard it in this decision.

I repeat - it's not final at this point. If anything, I want to test it myself and hear what other people will say about it, and how it works. Testing guys. More testing.

Szasz culture is moved to High Germanic group

Same reasons as with the Wallon culture, and same conditions - this is again for testing purposes. Though if we really talk about it, if we have Prussians and Baltic Germans, surrounded by foreign cultures and still remaining Low Germanic, I see no real reason to put German settlers in Hungary in Magyar group. I understand that this are completely 2 dfifferent things. For example, Germans in Baltic had much more connection with their old homeland wia Sea Routes, somethings that Szasz didn't, and many other reasons. But i can't see them as decisive. We'll see how it works.

Georgian culture is moved to isolated Kartvelian group. If Basques and Albanians are isolated, Georgians can be too.
