Ok, I will make an update of the map with toned down terrain (and will check it for new maps).

Yes, I changed the preset to USA because it is in the USA (but it makes no sense as you mentioned because it is not in the desert). I will upload some the map and will make some new picuteres with the green preset.

Just a tip: You might want to tone down the terrain a little. Southern Michigan isn't covered with a mountain range. Additionally, we aren't in the middle of the desert, so you might want to change the ground texture preset to european so it appears as grassy and not a desert.
