360 POWER

The 360 POWER name is derived from its gondola arms mounted in a star-shaped pattern with five seats each. These arms turn in circles at the upper end of a 30 meter long main mast. When the gondolas come at 30 meters height to a halt, the stars seem to be within one’s grasp. From up here, passengers are able to have a birds eye view of the entire park and the surrounding landscape. But this moment of repose is only short-lived. As soon as the gondola cross has rotated its full cycle at this dizzying height, the main mast nosedives while rotating around its own axis.
Yet there is more to come. The single gondola arms also turn at an angle of 360 degrees while three different rotational movements spin the passengers around with their legs dangling freely. Riders will experience a great high from this enormous adrenaline rush.
A three times redundant safety restraint system returns your passengers safe and sound to home position. Their heads will still be spinning when they put their feet back on the ground. Simply watching makes you giddy and quickens your pulse.
With its impressive size and its elaborate tower lighting the 360 Power is a landmark and a magnet to visitors. It certainly will be one of the most thrilling, if not the most thrilling, ride adventures your park has to offer.

Blackout

The Blackout is a powerful new take on an old classic. The Looping Starship offers sensations that were previously unable to be experienced by any other ride. never before Passengers experience rocking, hanging and looping, unheard of at the time the ride was first released.

The ride begins with a smooth, powerful rocking motion that increases in speed as the ship climbs higher in the arc. As it reaches the top of the arc, it comes to a virtual stop, upside-down, with nothing between the heads of its riders and the ground. Riders hang there, not knowing whether the ship will go forwards and complete the first of two loops, or backwards, to try from the other side. When the ship completes the loop, riders will want to come back for more to experience all variations that this ride has to offer!

Bumpin Derby

Crash into your competition and rev up for a round of classic bumper cars! Let your inner asphalt addict out for a rambunctious round of rubber road rage! Dodge and weave and crash through the hall on these classic bumper cars. Peel out into nonstop action on this classic bumper car race in your park.

Centrum

Centrum is an amusement ride consisting of a circular horizontal platform with a vertical cage-like wall around the edge. The platform is attached to a motor on a hydraulic arm. The ride starts out by spinning until the centrifugal force is enough to push riders against the wall. Then the arm raises the horizontal platform to a vertical position in which riders, instead of spinning horizontally, are now spinning almost vertically.
The ride spins for a predetermined cycle until an automatic timer releases the hydraulic fluid from the arm, causing the platform to return to its horizontal position. The operator may be required to manually control the spin of the ride so that its exit aligns correctly with the exit gate. Most require the rider to be at least 42 inches tall.

The first such ride to arrive in that same country was with Rose Brothers in the 1950s and it came from Germany.

Chair-O-Plane

The swing ride or chair swing ride (sometimes called a swing carousel, wave swinger, yo-yo, Chair-O-Planes or swinger) is a fairground ride that is a variation on the carousel in which the chairs are suspended from the rotating top of the carousel. On some versions, particularly on the Wave Swingers, the rotating top of the carousel also tilts for additional variations of motion.

Collider

In the ride, up to two people sit in one of 20 gondolas arranged in a circle, one in front of the other.The ride moves clockwise, dispelling a slight amount of centrifugal force. A hydraulically powered arm underneath the ride then raises and tilts the frame so that the ride is rotating at 87° from the horizontal, transforming the ride from a horizontal experience to a nearly vertical one.

On most Enterprise models, there are no safety restraints; the force applied to the riders is sufficient to keep them pinned in their seats.However, some models have been fitted with seat belts. Most parks and carnivals require riders to be at least 48 inches tall, though it is not uncommon to see restrictions as much as 54 inches or more. The transportable version of the ride racks onto two trailers, the first carrying the wheel, arm, and drive systems while the second is loaded with the gondolas, platforms, and any additional equipment. The first trailer also acts as the base of the ride while in operation.

Coriolis

The Coriolis is an exciting ride with its classic styling and painted panels, it truly combines action with aesthetics. Four-seat cars are connected to a central hub and move independently while the entire ride spins and tilts for extra thrills.

Elixir Machine

The Elixir Machine is one of the awesome spinning attractions from the HUSS® Classic Rides range. The passenger platform, a rotating disc of 17.5m, revolves with continuously variable speeds of up to 12.5rpm.

The ride features four main arms which rotate relative to the central disc and achieve a maximum gyro rotation of 28rpm. Each arm carries four, twin seated, suspended gondolas which swing sideways to both sides – sudden swings at low speed and multiple 360°loops at high speed.

With both forward and reverse operation, the Elixir Machine is without question a high thrill provider!

Forge

The ride is composed of a central tower incorporating a rotating section at the top. At a height of approx. 12m, six 10.8m arms are mounted on this section, which rotates at 7rpm. The tower accommodates a hydraulic launch system with a huge hydraulic actuator driving an umbrella-like mechanism which lifts all the arms concurrently within an accelerated movement. Each arm carries a gondola with eight seats which counter-rotates at 20rpm. In addition, these gondolas are connected to the arms by a rotation joint, allowing them to swing in and out and passengers are lifted up to a maximum height of 18m during the ride.

Gears of Fear

Gears of Fear features a unique seating arrangement, with riders secured in a single row, facing the midway, with with their legs dangling freely! Up to 22, 36, 40 intrepid riders are raised over 12, 13 or 17,5 mt. (39, 43, or 58 foot) in the air before being treated to a non stop assault of diving loops, swooping flips, and hair raising drops while secured by individual shoulder restraints and seat belts. The signature “tilt and flip” motions of Backflash occur thanks to the alternating rotation speed of the main ride booms.

Genie

The Disk’ò coaster dynamic action offers passengers the incredible weightless sensation and delivers unbelievable G-forces as in the traditional Disk’ò. The 24 or 40 seats vehicle runs on an approx. 92 m. long track reaching a maximum speed of 70Km/h and drawing different trajectories at any time. From a top height of 15mt. the vehicle starts its wild run along the track concave section at a variable speed of 30 to 70 Km/h. In less than a second the vehicle reaches the top of the central hump at approx. 40 Km/h and gives passengers a strong negative acceleration for an incredible weightless sensation.

Hammer Swing

The Screamin’ Hammer Swing is a truly new and unique ride experience designed to offer a smooth, thrilling ride to every “kid” who ever dreamed of swinging higher! The Screamin’ Swing meets the needs of any amusement park with passenger capacities of 32 and 40 passengers per ride cycle, and features a small footprint, low maintenance costs and maximum thrill.

Hellion Ring

The ride's train is rocked back and forth at a generous rate, as not to put too much stress on the tire drive. It elevates on every pass through the station until it has gained enough momentum to make it completely around the loop. Once a number of consecutive loops are made it can be shifted to go the other direction. It can also be hung upside down (stopped at the top).

Horror Heights

The ride system of Horror Heights employs specialized technology particularly the ability to move the vehicle in and out of the vertical motion shaft. The elevator cabs are self-propelled automated ride vehicles, also known as automated guided vehicles, which lock into separate vertical motion cabs. The cabs can move into and out of elevators horizontally, move through the scene, and on to the drop shaft.

Hurricane

The Hurricane is an amusement ride in which suspended riders spinning in cars experience centrifugal force, while spinning along two separate axes. Riders are seated in small carriages clustered together and connected by beams at the top to a central point. The clustered vehicles are spun in one direction, while the ride as a whole spins in the opposite direction. There are a number of variations of the design.
funfact : The first Hurricane (scrambler) was invented by Richard Harris of Georgia and installed at Lakewood Fairgrounds in 1938.

Hyperspin

Hyperspin is a flat ride similar to the Waltzer in Europe, designed for commercial use at amusement parks, fairs, and carnivals, in which it is commonly found. The rides are manufactured by Larson International of Plainview, Texas.

The Hyperspin is a platform-type ride, consisting of seven freely-spinning cars that hold three or four riders each, which are attached at fixed pivot points on a rotating platform. As the platform rotates, parts of the platform are raised and lowered, with the resulting centrifugal and gravitational forces on the cars cause them to spin in different directions and at variable speeds. The weight of passengers in these cars (as well as the weight distribution) may intensify or dampen the spinning motion of the cars, adding to the unpredictable nature of the motion.

Insanity

The riders hop into their seats and are secured by a harness and a steel overhead bar, which seems to be there simply as a backup lock. The arms then swing back and forth until they finally complete a full loop. That’s the ride really!

The ride can be run at a brisk speed or at a slower, more hangtime laden pace. Typically, cycles will offer both types of ride experiences. The ride might swing back and forth until completing a loop and then do a few quick loops before changing direction. Direction changes usually happen after suspending riders upsidedown for a period of time.

Iron Claw

This thrill ride has riders strapping into a their seats at the end of a giant swinging pendulum, which rotates as it swings back and forth. Riders will have the feeling of weightlessness as The Claw transitions from its upswing to its downswing. If you are lucky enough (at least we think it’s lucky), your set of four seats will be at the tip top as the ride hits its top height.

Loop Da Loop

The Loop Da Loop has two 16-foot long arms, each with an enclosed car at one end and a counterweight at the other. Each car holds four riders seated in pairs facing opposite directions. Propelled by an electric motor, the arms swing in directions opposite to each other until they ''loop'' taking the riders upside down.

The Loop Da Loop ride was developed by the Lee Eyerly Aircraft Co., and was originally designed as a pilot training device in the 1930's. The first "Loop O Plane" was sold in 1934 and the ride was patented in 1935.

Looper

Looper is made up of a “T column” and 2 parallel independent arms. Each arm rotating 360° in both directions indipendently brings a craft 4 seats.

The INTERACTIVE SYSTEM allows each of the two vehicles to rotate indipendently 360° on the 3 main axes: while the support arm rotates so as to simulate sudden climbs and dives, the vehicle is free to turn both on the axis of the arm (yaw) and on its own axis (roll). Interactivity allows the Riders to drive the movements making their own flight performance but Riders or Operator can also put also the plane into ‘emergency mode’ so that it reverts to an automatic programme.

The transmission is electromechanical with motors controlled by inverters. A joystic allows the riders to drive the movements making their own flight performance, “riding their style”! This ride represents an innovative live flight simulator giving passengers experiences that are not common unless to hire a real plane…

Magic Twirl

Take Flight
Hop atop pink pigs and take off into the air on a joyful journey amid the jubilant sounds of carnival music. Based on Disney’s 1941 animated classic Dumbo, pink pigs invites you to accompany everybody’s favorite circus pig as he discovers his unique ability to fly.

Twice the Fun
This isn’t your everyday flight of fancy. This breezy attraction features 4 sets of rotating pigs moving in opposite directions as they fly through the air high above Fantasyland.

Monte Leone

The Monte Leone is an amusement ride based on the original Caterpillar rides of Germany. Several near-identical ride designs are also produced by other companies; Musik Express by Italian company Bertazzon and US Majestic Rides, Himalaya by American company Wisdom Rides, German company Mack, and French company Reverchon, and Silver Streak by Wisdom Rides. This ride is a modern adaption of the famous Harry Traver Caterpillar rides.

These cars rotate on a track with alternating sloped and flat sections. Rotation is possible in both a backward and forward direction, as the ride is manually operated. The ride is powered by 4 DC motors, and can reach a maximum speed of 12 revolutions per minute.

Overpower (Top Spin No1)

TOP SPIN® is one of the most successful attractions ever built by HUSS®. Since the 1990s more than 80 units have been delivered to operators all over the world. The TOP SPIN® is still defining the standard of its class in terms of technology, quality and reliability.

TOP SPIN® guarantees breathless, extreme thrilling ride experiences for passengers – a must-have for theme and amusement parks.

In the classic configuration featuring a ’theatre-style‘ gondola, the TOP SPIN® CLASSIC has 40 seats in two rows. These rows are located behind each other in an inclined arrangement with all passengers facing the front of the attraction.

The attraction offers various ride patterns, such as pendulum movements of the gondola, circular rotations of the gondola in any position, sudden turns following the release of the drum brake and, of course, the multiple spins of the gondola around its suspension axis.

There are also numerous different opportunities to decorate a TOP SPIN® CLASSIC, while special effects like fire or water fountains create an even more outstanding attraction.

Pathos III

The Ride, Pahtos sits waiting to take its 30 challengers into the sky. Once everyone is securely fastened in, the whole ride raises off the platform. It then spins around its central support column, and also on an axis at the end of the rotating gondola. On top of this, the 6 rows of seats flip and spin freely according to the angles they are at, meaning Pathos offer a truly different ride every time!

Psychola

All the thrills of a looping rollercoaster at a fraction of the cost. The Psychola is a rider controlled experience that thrills all ages. While the more daring rider will thrust their seat into forward and backward spins from start to finish, those looking for a more mild experience will be equally excited to speed around the undulated track and feel the wind in their hair.

Radius

Radius (Big O) has a diameter of 60 metres (200 ft), and was listed as the world's largest centreless Ferris wheel by Guinness World Records in 2006 !!

Ferris Wheel

The classic ride himself...It is a non-building structure which consisting upright wheel with lots of cabins or we can say gondolas and rider’s basket. These cabins always attached to the rim of the giant Ferris wheel ride and keeps up-righting by gravity. Each of the cabin can hold up to 6 person, so it is a perfect family ride between parents and kids. Wheel of the giant observation is driven by electric control system. Riders will move with the wheel rotate. And in the cabin, they could also enjoy the whole landscape around the Ferris wheel.

Rocktopus

The amazing ride on an Rocktopus.

The Polyp offers four controlable motion axles and furthermore freely spinning gondolas. The fast changes of the acceleration from almost 0g to several g's make an interesting ride experience for a large number of passengers.

The Polyp is available in two types with 20 respetively 25 gondolas. Of course, the gondolas can be designed according to customer's specification.

Round The World

Debuting in 1947 by the Eyerly Aircraft Company, the Round The World or named Rock O Plane has truly stood the test of time on the carnival midway, putting smiles on people’s faces for over 60 years and accommodating 16 adults or 24 kids at a time, in eight cars.

Scizzer

The Scizzer or classic Twister is an amusement ride in which suspended riders spinning in cars experience centrifugal force, while spinning along two separate axes. Riders are seated in small carriages clustered together and connected by beams at the top to a central point. The clustered vehicles are spun in one direction, while the ride as a whole spins in the opposite direction.There are a number of variations of the design.

Sky Ace

Sky Ace takes riders on an amazing journey which replicates the experiences and sensations of an acrobatic aeroplane flight, with banks, loops, dives and weightlessness that will test even the most experienced thrill seekers. Accommodating up to 16 riders at one time in eight, two-seater aeroplanes, the new thriller combines an 7 rpm central ride rotation motion with a motor driven arm rotation that allows for the various movements experienced by riders. The action takes place up to 7,6 m above the ground and “pilots” experience accelerations of almost 3G, right side up and upside down. The class 5 over-the-shoulder restraints incorporated into the seats allow riders from 120 cm (48″) to participate in what is an amazing “flying” experience. Several ride cycles have been developed to allow operators to adapt the ride to different target audiences and to attain the theoretical hourly capacity of 320 riders. But it is not just the ride experience that is a real winner! The visual impact of the Air Race is something not to be missed and will certainly draw attention to the ride from near and far. The independent movement of each arm and the impressive overall size of the whole structure is sure to attract those wishing to test their nerve as well as those simply mesmerised by the speed and movement of the attraction. The ride stand on a singular trailer and can be installed very fast.

Sky Watcher

The Sky Watcher is an iconic landmark structure with an exceptionally elegant and modern appearance. The tower blends in harmoniously with the character of the surrounding landscape and topographic conditions so is perfectly suited for parks as well as tourist attractions.

The regular tower heights available are 120m, 110m and 100m, although the height can be easily adapted to individual requirements.

With its gentle and quiet movement, the lifting and rotating passenger cabin offers an exciting panoramic experience, enabling unrestricted views in a new dimension of freedom. It is equipped with an air conditioning system as standard, accommodates up to 70 passengers and is suitable for a very broad range of guests, including passengers with disabilities.

The outstanding visual impact and trendsetting design of the Sky Tower can be enhanced by a range of lighting effects in addition to special surface designs. The tower shaft and the bottom of the gondola are ideal for sponsorship which can create significant extra revenue.

SKY TOWER is a landmark attraction that takes the guest experience to new heights.

Star Wheel

On Star Wheel, the rotating rays of the wheel spokes twinkle like a kaleidoscope. Before you take off, choose the type of gondola you want to ride in: stationary or swinging. Then, hop on board and ascend 150-feet high in the sky, marveling at the scenic views of your Park all around you.

Sun Flare

The Sun Flare is the newest sensation in the world of Tower rides. It is a unique attraction that appeals to both young and old, the adventurous and not so adventurous. While most tower attractions seem to fizzle out after time the Sun Flare keeps the excitement going.

No other family attraction combines safety and thrills like the Sun Flare.

The Sun Flare can operate in high winds unlike many other Tower rides as it has been TUV certified to operate in a wind speed of force 8 (74Km/h)1. We are also increasing the height of the StarFlyer™ every year and a sales representative will be able advise you of our current maximum height.

To ride, guests are seated in a double seat next to their friend or partner, the seat is deep walled and fitted with double seat belts that include an 'in between the leg harness' that can only be unlocked by the operator.

The motion of the Sun Flare is similar to the ChairFlyer type of ride that has been around for decades, except with one difference - Altitude.

The Sun Flare spins like a normal Chainflyer but also races up to a top as it is spinning! Then the customers are treated to a series of ups and downs as they spin backwards and forwards. A truly exhilarating experience.

Sundial

The GIANT FRISBEE Sundial is just what the name implies. With its extraordinary size and power the ride guarantees a sensational ride experience with speed, acceleration and airtime.

With its hub height of 26m and a maximum passenger flying height of 43m the Sundial is an impressive, striking landmark that gives thrill-loving guests exactly what they are looking for.

Four gigantic legs hold a mighty pendulum that swings 120° to each side while at the same time the gondola on the lower end rotates at 8rpm. The pendulum accelerates up to 110km/h at +4.5g, parameters that are normally associated with major roller coasters.

The gondola accommodates 40 or 50 passengers, offers suspended, floorless seats and provides additional exciting feelings while swinging high above the ground.

With a broad guest appeal, the Sundial is without doubt a highlight for theme and amusement parks, attracting riders as well as spectators.

Teacups

Teacups is an amusement ride characterized by cup-style spinning vehicles atop a turntable-like floor. Typically, each set of six teacups has a center bearing mounted underneath, similar to a car wheel bearing mounted on a circular floor capable of turning 360°. The circular floor of the cup sits on a larger turntable-like floor. This is driven by a motor through a starting device; the ride when started begins to spin slowly and build up speed as the operator applies more power. When in operation, the ride operator spins each cup while the turntable spins the entire ride base. They are driven by a motor fixed to the base in either the middle or the outside, the motor fixed in the middle has a gearbox which changes direction, as well as gives the correct ratio to the desired speed. The motor fixed on the outside again has a gearbox, but is attached to a small rubber wheel which sits along the rim under the platform. Either way, the end result is achieved and under modern health and safety guidelines, children's rides should not spin faster than eight times per minute...

The Aeronauts

A spectacular family ride that everyone can enjoy together. The Balloon Race is a real crowd-pleaser and make for a very attractive centerpiece in any park. The Balloon race is available with 8 or 12 large balloons as well as a deluxe lighting and signage package. The balloons can be easily themed with pastel colors, tulips, or even a pirate ship.

The Cube

This new thrill ride from ABC Rides carries a dozen passengers and spins them on X, Y and Z axes simultaneously. While it doesn’t appear to go all that fast, it’s still sure to result in more than a few lost lunches and tons of pocket change.

The Screaminator

Using the magnetic braking technology, which is so effective in the Giant Drops, the same technology was put to use in the Ring Drop. Combining the pleasant experience of a Panorama Tower with the white-knuckle experience of a free fall is an unusual and exciting mixture, which guarantees
satisfaction to even the most skeptical thrill seekers. The 20, 36 or 56-seat ring structure rises slowly up the shaft. The riders experience an escalating anticipation as the gondola moves up the tower structure. The ring vehicle reaches the top of the tower, where the riders will wait for
the drop. Then CLUNK CLICK! The ring of seats suddenly drops to the ground. Anybody who can breathe in that split second has nerves of Titanium. Available in different heights according to operator’s requirements, the system can also be built as a conversion
from an observation tower, allowing for new marketing opportunities and reducing costs for a tower erection. The design of the Ring Drop structure is either a lattice or atubular-shaped tower. With its ring vehicle, this thrill attraction allows for high capacity as well as an unusual design of a free fall ride.

Tri-Storm

A Tri-Storm consists of three arms radiating from a central column. At the end of each arm is a wheel-like assembly (star) holding seven gondolas, each of which seats 2 people side by side. The combination of the arm and star is a sweep.[citation needed]

When the ride is activated, the central column rotates clockwise, while the Star at the end of each arm rotates counterclockwise. Hydraulic cylinders then raise the arms to an angle of 40°. The gondolas do have some capacity to rock from side to side, but this is minimal. At the end of the ride cycle, the arms are lowered, and the rotation stopped.

Test Flight

This unique ride was manufactured in 1948 by Eyerly Aircraft Company.
The ride was originally designed to train pilots.
Once the ride begins to turn, the cables attatched to each plane wrap around the center post. This makes the planes rise above the crowd, allowing plenty of space to perform your aerobatic maneuvers. You can roll either direction, but be careful that you don't get stuck upside down!

Venetian Carousel

Hot-dip galvanized steel structure; varnished solid wood floor; decorative fiberglass panels around the center and on the ceiling; hand painted scenery panels depicting scenes of Venice; fireproof canvas top (class2) and decorative top horse; lighting throughout the carousel; AC self-braking motor controlled by static frequency converter.

Victory

The Victory PIRATE SHIP is one of the company’s long-standing attractions. The gondola, shaped as a large boat, accommodates between 45 and 55 passengers and swings them up to 20m in height at a 75° angle.

The boat consists of a welded steel structure with decorative cladding and benches made of fibreglass reinforced plastics, allowing countless theming variants.

With moderate accelerations and motions it is a genuine family ride, with children from 1.1m tall accompanied by an adult being able to enjoy the experience. Those over 1.2m are able to ride alone.

The ride can feature highly-decorative theming, reflecting concepts such as Pirates of the Caribbean or the Viking period. With its outstanding visual impact and detailed decoration it has become a popular landmark and major draw for visitors of all ages at numerous parks around the world.

The PIRATE SHIP is a ride for all the family with theming options that make it the ideal choice for riders of all ages.

Weisshorn

The Weisshorn similar to the Monte Leone (without coverings) is an amusement ride based on the original Caterpillar rides of Germany. Several near-identical ride designs are also produced by other companies; Musik Express by Italian company Bertazzon and US Majestic Rides, Himalaya by American company Wisdom Rides, German company Mack, and French company Reverchon, and Silver Streak by Wisdom Rides. This ride is a modern adaption of the famous Harry Traver Caterpillar rides.

These cars rotate on a track with alternating sloped and flat sections. Rotation is possible in both a backward and forward direction, as the ride is manually operated. The ride is powered by 4 DC motors, and can reach a maximum speed of 12 revolutions per minute.

The Zozo is a truly unique ride experience. Originally designed by an aircraft company, theZozo soars high above the ground (approx 45 feet) with cars that twist to keep the rider in an upright position.

I love the facts about the real-world counterparts to these rides. There is a varient of the "Weisshorn" ride that is based on the "Musik Express" version in one of the parks near me. This one is called the "Music Express" and the ride is decorated with references to the state's musical history and culture. (Unfittingly, the music that plays during the ride is pretty much whatever is on the operator's phone.)

Two Things:
1: I agree with papaBAZ with adding a seating capacity for each ride. (I made the horrible decision of building Zozo as my 2nd Flat ride and my finances plummeted shortly after because it only seats ~8 people (I think), so I am also searching for a seating guide.)

2: I believe this guide is missing "Big Wheel" (It is a Ferris Wheel). Is it under a different name or was it added recently or something?
