Description
[1] INTRODUCTION
From now on, Neter is in range.
Flusskind Maschinen (FkM/清流童子機械) has provided Nicola JB1 and Nicola JB3. Contrary to Nicola JB series, Nicola JF is equipped with Fuel Engine. Finally, Nicola JF bacame capable of attacking everywhere on Neter without refueling at full throttle. New formation algorithm maintains minimum distance to other Nicola JF. This allows a formation of Nicola JF to make a simultaneous attack on one heavy target. New targeting algorithm aims at an average of "Position" and "Aim Point" of a target. This allows Nicola to avoid aiming at an edge of a target.

[2] SPECIFICATIONS
Cost : 466 material
Size : 1 x 1 x 12 meters
Operational range (static target, full battery, full throttle) : > Approx. 225,000 meters
Operational time (moving target, full battery, full throttle) : > Approx. 3,000 seconds
Maximum operational altitude : 500 meters
Minimum operational altitude : 0 meters

[3] OPERATION
(1) Charge Nicola fuel tank.
(2) Move it on the strategic map while Nicola is pulled.
(2) Begin battle.
(3) Nicola stays in 450 meters altitude.
(4) Nicola begins approach by turning ON its AI.
(5) Nicola aborts approach by turning OFF its AI.
(6) Nicola flies at 450 meters altitude toward the target.
(7) Nicola dives to the target when the horizontal distance is less than 150 meters.
(8) Nicola retries approach if it misses the target.
(9) Nicola explodes when it directly hits the target.

[4] TIPS
(1) Safety lock behavior
AI Mainframe state is used as safety lock as follows.
ON in battle : it dives into a target.
OFF in battle : it flies in a circle at 450 meters.
ON in normal : it flies in a circle at 300 meters to record its speed.
OFF in normal : it stays in 300 meters altitude.
This allows NPC to use Nicola because the default AI Mainframe state is on.
(2) Accurate target position datalink
Accurate target positions is recommended to make Nicola more effective but not always necessary. AI Mainframe with Intra Vehicle Transmitter on other vehicles can send target positions to Nicola AI Mainframe. Position error is supporsed to be less than 3 meters in average. FkM Irene is one option.
(3) Target selection limited by operational altitude
Nicola avoids approaching to a target outside of its operational altitude range.

[5] TROUBLE SHOOTING
Q. It does not begin approach.
A. Turn ON its AI.
Q. It goes back to 450 meters altitude without any impact.
A. It is just trying to make a better approach to the target.
Q. May I modify this including its Lua codes?
A. Sure, unless its 2-clause BSD license is violated.

I keep getting Object reference not set to an instance of an object at LuaBox.RunLuaUpdate () [0x0007d] in <94863cb0534b40aebdd25c74d9c99f31>:0 when i try to run this....im so confused. it just plops into the ocean. I used this thing in my silos so now im really not sure what to do lol

After taking a look at your missile, I have to say I'm inspired by your work!
The design is elegantly simple, with not many unnecessary additions.

I'm curious, how long have you been doing coding and playing FtD? I want to learn more about this game and programming in general, so I can one day make incredible things like this myself!

Hi, i don't know if this has already been asked, but why does it slow down when approaching a target? i have made some modifications to your blueprint but i can't get it to fully ram the other ship, it always slow down a bit too much when i get close, if its going at 80m/s it will reduce to 50m/s and then never detonate and follow the target around.

The entirety of the planet going by the name "neter" is able to be touched by the holiness of the Nuclear missile going by the name "FkM Nicola JF" and be blown up by the nuclear device that is aboard said "FkM Nicola JF".

Well then, this should be good chance for you to learn. At least, no block on this craft is unnecessary. One of the way is as follows.
1. remove glass wedge on its front,
2. place ACB and baloon there,
3. place glass wedge in front of them.

Your idea can be integrated. I think that is a very usual way what many aircrafts in Neter take. My only concern is raise in cost. When increased cost is accepted, I think everyone can modify by himself/herself.
