Description
Bigger is always better right?

The tank that was firstly announced a pretty long time ago is finally finished: The FCM Char 2C!
It is equipped with 2 rotational turrets + 3 machine gun emplacements in the front and sides, capable of dealing damages at all sides of the tank. I also used a different track type, instead of hinges + armorplates, this uses the hinges as trackplates as well (pretty common method for other tank besiegers). As this is quite a big tank, it is also rather computing heavy (heavier than the A7V and the St. Chamond). blockcount: 734.

About the Char 2C
The Char 2C was a tank designed back in world war 1 (1917) as the absolute stalemate breaker. capable of crossing trenches as wide as 3.5 meter and able to withstand a direct hit from common artillery (not all artillery). Yet the war ended before the Char's rolled out of the factory, thus never been used during the first world war. At the beginning of the second world war, the tanks were still in service. But the french war minister knew that the tanks were, despite their armament, not usefull for real combat. The Char 2C would be an absolute prey for divebombers and artillery because of its size and speed. Most of them were therefore turned into scrap to prevent the germans from getting their hands on it. Although the tank has been designed in 1917 it is with 75 tonness still the heaviest operational tank ever produced.

CHANGE NOTES
13-12-17: not much important. just added a brace that prevented the log and the rocket on the side from falling off.
might consider uploading a multi-person controlled version of this one. where one can for example drive, whilst other players can use the large variety of weaponry of this tank

make sure to rate this upload and if you want more interesting builds, check out my workshop!

thanks, however this is sadly the last tank where they even look nice without skin. my next WW1 model and the upcoming ones use bracecubes to fill in the non-rectangular holes. looks really solid with skins, but are clearly visible without them...

I love the use of metal plates - it looks really cool even with the default Besiege skin! 😎

hello! im a huge fan of your ww1 tanks, and have been looking to modify one for a while yet, and i found this, and it was perfect for modification, so i turned it into a very effective tank destroyer/self propelled gun version.i was wondering if it'd be alright for me to upload it. i will give you credit and link to this page, of course.
