Removing Space Station Restrictions
By Madelyn
Do you hate using the crappy rooms that the game provides, but want to build a space station? Well, then this is the guide for you!
Simply typing in 3 commands will allow you to build, destroy and paint anywhere on your space station, wether or not it's part of a room.

What to do
Using chat, type the following commands:

/admin
/settileprotection 65535 false
/settileprotection 65524 false
/settileprotection 0 false
/admin

Doing this will remove all build restrictions, but be aware that anywhere you build that was never part of a room will not have gravity, and rooms have an indestructible background which can never be removed. If you want to get around this, there's a mod that adds rooms which are completely empty tiles, but have gravity and no permanant background.

Please note that you need to reuse the commands every time you exit the area as the tile protection resets.

Enjoy building!

Extra detail
Each dungeon ID corresponds to a separate part of the space station world.

65535 corresponds to empty space that is not part of a room tile
65524 corresponds to empty space that is in a room tile, but isn't inside the room itself
0 corresponds to the walls that make up the rooms, which normally can't be edited

Also, certain objects are unmovable no matter what. The mech entry gates, the red marker and the room backgrounds can't be removed.
Disabling protection elsewhere
This works anywhere with tile protection, including the ark and mission areas! To find a location's dungeonID, when in admin mode type "/debug" then mouse over the area you want to disable protection in. One of the debug list values will show the ID which you can then plug ingo the "/settileprotection [id] false" command. In the ark and mission areas, the ID for the area is normally 0.

Have fun ruining the ark/destroying mission areas!
THERE IS NOW A MOD FOR IT!
Thankfully, someone has made a mod for this! It saves you from needing to type in the commands by adding the option into the station control interface.

Will this allow for the creation of proper fuel station pods that won't cause the fuel to mysteriously leak away? I'm talking about filling entire rooms and corridors with ship fuel in liquid form, cause when I do this not only is there a tidal movement but whenever the fuel fills up the corridor the fuel in the corridor seems to leak away as if theres no backplate...

Added Detail, which you may want to add to the guide, The airlocks that spawn in the station rooms can become problematic as you cant destroy them. Enter admin mode and type /entityeval object.smash() with your cursor on them to remove them completely.
