Improved Islam-Ibn Battutah's World

描述
This mod aims to have better representation of muslim states across the Middle East and Africa.

Its main goals are:
1) Prevent Maghreb turning Catholic in almost every game as well as Ethiopia and Nubia being islamized.
2) more historicaly accurate setup mainly in 867 and 1066 bookmarks with:
- Weaker Fatimids and Tulunids who don't always steamroll everything around them
- Have various tribal rulers where they should, which means
- Have propper representation of Hilalian colonization of Maghreb by Arabic tribes
3) Add some more cultures mainly to North Africa to propperly represent the various Berber tribes
4) Edit military capacities of muslim states, mainly in order to increase the power of desert tribes and weaken sedentary dynasties, especially in Egypt

IMPORTANT:
This is a submod of my map mod Ibn Battuta's Legacy and it won't work without this map mod.

To have everything work propperly, you need to manualy edit the IBWA.mod.mod file so its crucial lines are like this:

thanks and sorry it hasn't been updated.
I'm currently waiting for Holy Fury to be released. It makes so many big changes, also including the regions edited in this mod, that updating it now for current version would be a waste of time (especially when I'm really short of it)

Will this mod ever be updated? From what I can see it's absolutely brilliant, just needs update for Jade Dragon :(

unfortunately not updated. Neither this nor the root mod Ibn Battuta's legacy. With two jobs I don't have enough time to maintain the 2 mods :(

How do you change the IBWA.mod.mod file?

In the game, isn't there a bonus for getting 4 wives? That bonus should be changed to be given for having many offspring so it's more realistic.
I think the bonus was relevant to decadence or prestiege, I don't think if it was to piety.

Hey, could you add:
- The ability to perform the Ramadan fast while at war/jihad
- Switch prestiege gain from having 4 wives to prestiege gain per child

Hey thanks for the effort, but I got it to work, lovely mod. Btw does this stop sindh from getting conquered by hindus in every playthrough?

@-[S]tealth- could I see your the structure of your mod folder where you edited the file? And how does the edited file looks? Perhaps we could do that via Paradox forums since I'm not sure if you can upload pictures here
