Description
Adds additional backround art for the corridors of Ruins.

Bumps the variation from 7 to 24 different backround pieces. The game creates corridors randomly from this collection, so you will see mix of new and old still.

Vanilla base-game assets used and slightly edited in some cases, to put these together.

Vanilla assets are crypts.corridor_wall_00 to ..._wall_06, this mod adds ...wall_07 to ...wall_23.
If something is nto to your liking, you can replace it with something else, or edit them, just png files.
Note; some backrounds have transparent backrounds, so superPNG for PS, or Gimp in general is needed to edit them.

Update 22.9.2018

- Added 3 new walls, wall_21, 22, and 23.
- Edited wall_19, fixed contrast, shut the hole on lower part, backround image didn't stretch that low.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Update (early 2018):
Changes; went thru all of the backrounds:

-Contrast and saturation of objects should be unified and tweaked now (one example in preview pics). Things shouldn't "pop up" (like some used curious/items I used) as much anymore.

-Some curious removed totally, probably biggest complain people had with this, totallt replaced with new art, or reworked/tweaked, just in generall less distracting result I hope.

-General polish for minor annoyances, removed a ton "artifacting/dead pixels", fixed some outline issues, and fixes to multiple "seam" problems when transitioning from one backround to another. Hopefully all those are gone now.

-Some other minor (not worth mentioning) changes.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

- Made all in one package available for Steam Workshop too, check collection above.

If you find any issues, please leave feedback in the comments.

Possible updates in the future.

Small update:

added walls 21, 22, 23. (see preview pic)

One wide window (test, a bit different than the rest, no column in middle, if it looks out of place, I can remove it), and two basic walls, with small openings on top.

Again, had to re-sub for the mod to update, do that if it doesn't update automatically.

Mod updated.

If you don't see changes in-game automatically, unsub, and resub.

Uploaded all in one package, with some fixes/changes.

If people prefer to use separate ones like this one, I will be updating these ones too, if nothing needing to change/fix comes up with the new upload.

First I wanted to say great job with the mods (I have them installed for every area). I don't really pay attention to the backgrounds very often and I haven't noticed much, which means you've really fit in with the existing artstyle and that's really what I want from a background anyway.

So during some attacks I've noticed parts of the background flicker and become transparent, here's a screenshot, notice the on the right side of the screen.

So far I've only noticed it in the Ruins which is why I'm posting it here. It's not a huge problem but I thought you'd like to look into it.

you spelled background wrong, you put backround not background

@simpliv
Thanks. I know why that has happened. When I did these, I tough I need to bring PS files to GIMP and then convert them to PNG. That resulted some of them being out of place, so I manually tried to allign them, but I guess some gaps are still there. Now that I know I can just bring PNG from PS to GIMP, I should be able to fix that.

Also some layer effects got lost when I brought the PS file to GIMP, so some things don't look like they should, going thru them should fix that too.

There's gaps/seams in the tiling of the textures, which aren't necessarily that easy to spot unless you're admiring the backdrop. The gaps occur on the pillars which I assume is where the textures are meant to tile into each other. http://i.imgur.com/BzJSeQF.png
