The underdog jet of KOTH. Why the Buzzard isn't a bad jet!

In this guide I will show you how to propperly use the A-143 Buzzard in KOTH and explain why it isnt a bad jet!

The Jet

The A-143 Buzzard is an AAF multi-role CAP/CAS jet. It comes with a 20mm Twin Cannon, 4 Unguided bombs and 2 ASRAAM missles in King Of The Hill. In real life, this jet is known as the Dassault Sky Hawk. It has seen combat in the Falklands and is still used to this day in many European, Asian and Latin American countries.

Why People Think It's ♥♥♥♥?

The A-143 Buzzard is thought to be one of the worst planes in King Of The Hill. Its the second slowest jet, right after the Wipeout. It's max speed is about ~800 km/h. It's arnament isn't the best. It has 4 unguided bombs, a weak cannon and 2 AA Missles. Players seem to believe that buying a Neophron is more money is a better choice and just turn their heads at the thought of buying the Buzzard. It is the underdog of AAF jets, since it's successor, the Gryphon is way better and has better ordinance.
The Gryphon is the Dassault Mirage 2000 in real life.

The People are WRONG

The Buzzard isn't half bad if you know how to use it. It's bombs aren't that bad and a well aimed drop will level an entire block. The ASRAAM missles are one of the best missles that exist in Arma 3. Simply lock onto ANY jet, wait untill you are at LEAST 500m from them, and fire! They won't have time to react to the missle and the flares won't be as effective at that range, there you go! Easy frags, gentlemen. Because of it's low price of 4000$, you will make that money back quickly. Any air vehicle can be destroyed with the Buzzard, even a Black Wasp. To succesfully kill ANY jet from the Jets DLC, you must wait for them to start comming at you, and once they are close enough, fire your missle. The ASRAAM is very powerful in Arma and will probably knock out the plane, or damage it severely in one blow. I have taken down 2 Black Wasps and 4 Wipeouts in one game with one Buzzard using the ASRAAM missles and got myself a 30k end game bonus.

The Gryphon is the worst. What's it even supposed to do? The only real CAS weapon it has are the bombs.
