Haul to Stack

Beschreibung
Compatible with Versions 1.0-1.5

Features
Haulers will prioritize hauling to an existing stack even when multiple pawns are hauling.
Haulers no longer reserve the haul-to tile meaning multiple pawns can haul to the same tile at once.


Issues
If your pawns are just standing around go here: Standing Bug
If your having other problems leave a comment with a description of your issue and/or feel free to message me in the steam group chat I've created here. It's a better way to discuss issues you might be having.
You may still see your pawns haul to different stacks, this will happen under the following conditions:
  • there are no existing stacks
  • the existing stacks are full
  • pawn is hauling more than the destination stack can hold
Example: If you get a pod drop with new loot and two pawns pickup some before any is placed, they might pick different spots in the stockpile to haul to. I'm working on a system where they can share with eachother which tile they plan on placing new loot on which should fix that issue.

Conflicts
This mod doesn't work well with PickUpAndHaul.
UPDATE: as of 1.4 (or maybe one of their 1.3 updates) it looks like if you install PickUpAndHaul my mod (Haul to Stack) no longer does anything. It doesn't look like there's any harm in having both installed, mine just won't work. Keep that in mind if you try to use Haul to Stack.

The below only applies to PickUpAndHaul on older versions of Rimworld
Using both won't cause the game to crash or anything.. my mod just doesn't really work when you're using PickUpAndHaul. I looked into potentially fixing this but due to how PickUpAndHaul is written, a fix for this particular issue is beyond my current skill level. I do revisit this conflict occasionally but unfortunately I don't anticipate ever actually pushing out a fix. That being said I've created a discussion thread you can subscribe to if you'd like updates on the status of this conflict if I have any (I locked the thread so you won't get 'I have this issue too' notifications)

Sorry to hear the game is crashing in that scenario. I'm unfortunately really busy lately with work and travel so I won't be able to look at this for a while. Maybe in 2 or 3 weeks. I assume you're talking about an advanced setting for bills on workstations? I don't think I've ever used the feature you're referring to but I'll note it down as needs fixing.

Can confirm, game crashes when this mod is enabled and a specific group is selected on a bill.

Edit: I disabled PickUp and Haul + Wile You Are Up, to make sure it is not a conflict with these mods, but the crash is still happening, so definitely an issue with this mod, I don't think it is because of a conflict.

Hi. This mod made my game crash at a specific action, when a pawn finishes a bill that is set to "Take to > Group". Take to Stockpile and Drop to the floor work though. I have to disable this mod unfortunately.

@someonesneaky it looks like based on that github gist you're somehow still on the older copy of the mod from a week ago.
Line #57 says you're using "HaulToStack(1.5.1)"
Resubscribe and that should fix your issue. The current version is 1.5.2

Added HtS to a save, and when I load, my log is FULL of attempts to haul chunks to stacks, to the point where the log gets overwhelmed and stops functioning.

I can't even find information online for that threat type so I've got no idea what I'd need to do to correct that false positive.
Obviously you should take what I tell you with a grain of salt as I'm the one that made the dll but I uploaded the v1.4 dll to virustotal https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/cf63a4bab2004e3ae5741e4fd135c8ef964a364172508d683caf1ba2d87d696e/detection
and it turned up nothing. I suggest if you're suspicious of the dll you upload to virustotal yourself to confirm.
Either way you could use the mod without the dll in the v1.4 directory, it's just there for anyone that might still be running v1.4 of rimworld which is no longer the latest.

@Torres - McAfee is useless bloatware, just use Windows Defender. Drop the file in an online virus scanner if you're concerned.
