How to increase the battle sizer above 150, and the numbers you'll need for anything up to 1000 in 50 man increments.

Where to put the numbers

My Documents > Mount&BladeWarband, there is a file called rgl_config. Open that and find "battle_size" near the bottom. Replace the number there with one of the following to change your battle size.

Battle sizes, up to 1000

For 200 troops, use 1.4200
For 250 troops, use 1.8300
For 300 troops, use 2.2500
For 350 troops, use 2.6650
For 400 troops, use 3.0800
For 450 troops, use 3.5000
For 500 troops, use 3.9200
For 550 troops, use 4.3300
For 600 troops, use 4.7500
For 650 troops, use 5.1700
For 700 troops, use 5.5850
For 750 troops, use 6.0000
For 800 troops, use 6.4200
For 850 troops, use 6.8350
For 900 troops, use 7.2480
For 950 troops, use 7.6700
For 1000 troops, use 8.0800

If any of these are wrong let me know in the comments and I'll redo them.

And remember, this is the total amount of troops on the battlefield; yours, your ally's, and the enemy's. Not just how many you can have.

Also be aware that making this too high will result in bad frame drops in larger battles, especially seiges. 300 men is normally the cut off for a consistent frame rate, in my experience, but it can vary depending on what module you're playing and your computer specs.

What module are you playing? Some modules increase the vanilla battle sizes, which messes with the numbers here.

Hmmm. I put that in, and got 1000+ troops in battle

do you know how to get more dead bodies? Sometimes I have very large battles but just a bunch of weapons lying on the ground. I looked around but found only traces on the internet.

it seems like this only works in native and some mods, after googling looks like alot of mods won't recognise changing battle size and instead require a combination of WSE (no idea what that is) and a third party battle size mod.

Are you changing it while the game is closed? You gotta restart it, so it reads the file again.
