Description
This mod requires additional installation steps to work.

Installation:
1. Subscribe to the mod.
2. Start the game & wait for the mod to appear in the addon list.
3. Close the game.
4. Go to your Left 4 Dead 2 addons folder.
5. Look for my mod in workshop folder inside addons. (Picture found inside folder will help)
6. Move or Copy my mod .VPK file to Addons. (Outside workshop folder)

(I apologise for additional work needed to get the mod to work, but due to the way L4D2 loads workshop addons certain changes made by scripts do not work unless loaded instantly)

What does this mod do?
+ Makes common infected less noisy.
+ Makes common infected foot step sound more noticable.
+ Makes main menu music slightly louder by default.

Compatibility
+ Compatible with any sound mod that adds and/or replaces sound files.

Will you do something similar for special infected?

Looks good. I want to know if there is any mod for special infected which can make them sound more noticable. Sometimes gunshot is too loud and makes infected hard to be heard.

@Ziggylata | This mod works best with other mods that make zombies move slower, I haven't really properly do a playtrough on normal game with this mod installed yet. When I made this, I mainly made this for my self to both make it so that player has to pay more attention to where the zombies are as well as take away some of the more annoying sounds without disabling all of them.

I am currently planning on making a sound file replacement version mod where I replace the annoying sounds with something that is less annoying but still audible at a later date. I am also working on a resident evil style zombie sound replacer, perhaps those will be more up your alley when its done.

I tried it out and I found it way harder to hear them behind me than before. Its probably just me though, I think the loud screaching noises they make make it easy to know ones coming up behind you.
