Stratagy...
Lich King - You start off with a well protected hold in Northerend, and a small base inside Lordaeron called the Scholomance. The Scholomance will be your main tool in helping you divide west and east Lordaeron and keep the Alliance struggling to defend, also with Stratholm recently razed by Arthas, it is an opportune city to turn undead. The struggle with the Lich King will be balancing expanding your empire in Northerend and keeping the invasion of Lordaeron alive. The Alliance doesn't have much to expand so they will focus on getting rid of you as fast as possible.

Uther - You control the northern alliance in Lordaeron. Your empire is vast and very large, you will start with a good amount of resource and troops, but you also are already being invaded by the Scourge. Your main focus will be defending Lordaeron City until you can't anymore and have to fallback to Quel'thalas. The key to Lordaeron will be balancing defending your multiple fronts as the undead charge your territory. Gilneas city is independent and a very lucrative resource, consider bringing them into the war before the Scourge does!

Varian Wrynn - As the King of Stormwind your empire spreads all throughout the southern half of the eastern continent. You also have control of the Dwarf empire in Ironforge. You can easily transport your troops to and from Ironforge and Stormwind using the Deeprun tram, otherwise it's a long walk to Ironforge. The key to Stormwind will be defending your two fronts, one at Blackrock Mountain and the other at the Dark Portal, the demons will have a vast amount of space to expand there empire in Outland, so you should charge the portal as soon as you are ready.
Consider expanding your empire into the Dragonmaw Orc territory, it has good resource and the city can be easily taken.

Magtheridon - You are a high general of the Legion and your job is to invade Azeroth and destroy all the inhabitants. You start off with one of the strongest armies in the game, but a negative income until you lose some of your excess troops, or expand into more territory with gold. All of Outland is open to your taking, Shattrath city and Hala should be your first two targets because they're friendly with Stormwind and could easily join there side. You also control Tempest Keep in the Neatherstorm, this base as well as your base in the Bladespire mountains, will help secure northern Outland. Stormwind is very strong so you will have to utalize your base in Blackrock mountain to split his Dwarf forces and the humans of Stormwind to claim victory over Varian Wrynn.
**There is a portal in the Neatherstorm that connects to Kalimdor in the north, next to the Nightelf Empire**

Thrall - You are the warchief of the Horde! You claimed the land of Kalimdor and built the city of Orgrimmar to be a safe haven for your Orc people. Unfourtanetly you're not alone as the Nightelves also have claimed the lands of Kalimdor, your main struggle will be defending your empire until you have expanded into the Barrens enough to create a strong army and take on the Night Elf stronghold of Mt. Hyjal. Near you are the Goblins and the human city of Theramore, you can consider an ally with the Goblins, they control the seas and are not allied to anyone in the beginning of the game. Otherwise you will have to deal with Theramore yourself or else the city will grow to become a nuessence very fast.

Malfurion - You are the Arch Druid of the Night Elf people, you will control there armies which spread all over Northern Kalimdor as well as Feathermoon Fortress down south. You control a large empire in the beginning but your troops are limited. You need to build an army as fast as possible and secure the territory around you because the Horde is dangerous and will expand quick into the empty Barrens. The struggle for the Night Elf race will be if they can develope and grow fast enough to defend from the Horde invasion. Consider growing your empire in the south as well with Feathermoon Fortress, Dire Maul is near you and can be invaded, you also have an ally with Theramore city controlled by the Alliance. The draenei are fleeing the Felhorde in Outland, they have found haven in the Azuremyst isle, seek the broken colony "Exodar" for a possible ally.
**There is a portal in the northern Azuremyst isle that connects to northern Outland, next to the Fel Horde empire.**

Gallywix - As the goblin race you are the wild card of the world. You start with smallest empire and army in the center of the map. You have a base and a fort in Kalimdor but it is not safe with two major powers fighting for control. Your goal as Gallywix will be to pick at and annoy other players as you control the sea's and more then likely will occupy the Naga base of Vash'jar, which will unlock the naga units for your empire. Probably the least likely to win, but can be fun to sneak attack unexpecting empires.

Just finished a play through as Malfurion, and it was just so enjoyable, really loved it, one my fav games in AOW3, thank you for your work on this mod, will give another character a play through in the future. Great job. Wonder if you could ever introduce some smaller factions to start with weaker positions and attempt to grow from a more humble start, even as a roaming Army rising to power from very little. There was some minor issues because i played seals, they seemed to bug out in some attempted manual battles and only worked if auto resolved those battles, it only happened towards the end with big armies, might have been related to that since it also happened on a siege outside the seals, but mostly was trouble free. Thanks again.
