Generic USB Controller w/ Xbox360CE Stuttering Fix Win10 *Outdated Try at your own risk*

This is a guide to fix that stuttering when you try to drive when you use your generic usb controller with Xbox360CE in Windows 10.

Procedure

Before you proceed make sure that we are indeed using the same USB Generic Gamepad/Controller

Just like this.



















If you're not using this kind of gamepad then follow at your own risk. I only tried it on the selected gamepad.

Step 1:

Plug-in your USB gamepad and download the gamepad driver in the url provided.

file name is VL807.exe

you can try and google it yourself for assurance but for your convenience I uploaded it on my own 4shared account.

*It is marked as infected but feel free to scan for viruses if you're in doubt*
** replace the (dot) with actual "." **

and install it.

Step 2:

Locate "EZFRD64.dll" and delete it or just rename it.



and that's it.

Before you start playing

Make sure you unplug your gamepad before starting GTA 5.

When you started GTA 5 and see the rockstar logo and the stars on the upper right then you can plug your gamepad.

ive bought a PS3 official controller today though its not appearing to work no buttons work on this and ive tried a few configs for this but not getting anything other than the 4 flashing lights :( so got two controllers now neither work lol

any suggestions would be appreciated

@lazzarus if you use an official PS3 controller you wouldn't need to use this guide. The official controllers of Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo are all officially supported by Steam.

On looking into this one, the controller i was using is an unofficial PS3 controller so that's possibly why its not worked, however im hopefully getting a PS3 official controller tomorrow so fingers crossed that works with no issues with the installed drives from this tread,
