How To
WARNING! Some apps and programs may break if you use a ramdisc as %temp%
Warning! Downloads from web browsers go into this folder so be aware of the disc's size.
I can't be held liable if you break your pc.

Now why would I want to change the location of my windows %temp% folder?
To help with the Windows drive's read and writes and to help free up activity on the main windows disk.

What benefits will I get from doing this?
An increase of read and write speeds for the windows HDD and the fact that %temp% is cached data that can safely be deleted.

All you have to do is go to your windows bar and find the RUN application

Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Environment and click on the Environment folder.

Now you can change the TEMP and the TMP to another location safely to any drive.
WARNING! If you made a ramdisc make sure you have at least 6 gigs of it just in case you download something small.
Plus, DONT BIND IT TO A FOLDER IN RAMDISK, because the folder will be deleted in a restart or if the power goes out. BIND IT IN THE DRIVE LETTER!

Otherwise use a different HDD or SDD. You can only then make a folder here like; "H:\Windows Temp folder"

Certain games like Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, and apps like Photoshop Takes advantage of this.

(You can use an secondary HDD or ssd without much of an issue)
