This mod just adds recipes for the PickAxe and the WoodCutter Axe.

PickAxe - 1 Firewood and 1 Iron Ingot
WoodCutter's Axe - 1 Firewood and 1 Iron Ingot

I'm making a bunch of small mods to improve the various aspects of the game that i've felt needed changing. My mods are small but it just means you can turn on and off what you do and dont want. So if liked this mod, there may be another mod i have done that you would enjoy on my workshop page:

Handy mod - can I suggest that you make a mod that scales each pick axe and axe by the level of ore used to create it... so the Iron axe would be the worst than the steel axe with the dragon bone axe as the best. Make each level a bit lighter and have them chop more wood per hit, or mine more ore per hit. You could have them do more damage so R.A.T. could use them as weapons if he wanted to :)

Without mentioning the obvious elephant in the room about the axe. I'd like to ask if you can improve the axe now? I want it to be my weapon.

@CaptivA, there a scads of axes laying all around for free to get you started.
@PowerFang [author], the pickaxe should require more iron; perhaps 2 or 3 ingots. They're heavier and some other mods are smelting pickaxes for more than a single ingot.

Great job on this one, PowerFang - I was looking for something exactly like this. Adds the recipes for these two items without conflicting with any other crafting / economy mods etc.
