On My Own Two Feet

On My Own Two Feet

Acquired your personal CREO Exo-Rig.

Very Easy, this will be the first achivement you unlock.

Ill Be Back

Died for the first time.

Try not to get this one if possible.

Sorry, I Dropped This

Found your lost Tech Scrap after dying.

Just go back to where you died, and pick your scrap up.

First Day on the Job.

Acquired your selected job gear.

You will unlock this as you progress.

Butcher's Bill

Cut each limb from human enemies at least once.

Again, very easy, as you need to cut of limbs to upgrade armor, just target limbs and keep atatcking until a prompt appears.

P.A.X

Defeated the Pacification Automaton X.

This is the first boss in the game.

Best strategy is to stay close to his feet until you fill the orange bar, then when he jumps back to fire missles at you hide under him for a quick stun, this will need to be done 3 times.

to get the MK.II Version of the boss weapon you must NOT stun him with his own missles, rather keep attacking his legs, and when he lifts one to stomp you attack his other leg to throw him off balance. Video Guide by 360GameTV

Hey Listen

Acquired your personal CREO companion drone.

Easy to get simply become the Hero of Time. Shortly after the 1st boss you will run into a console that will reward you with this drone.

Firebug

Defeated the LU-74 "Firebug"

This is the 2nd Boss in the game. its a giant flying disc, you have to attack it one arm at a time, then attack its arm joint to blow the arm off. after you have done this 3-4 times. he will move onto phase 2.

to kill him in phase 2 simplly attack his head until he dies, for the MK.II version of this boss weapon, simplly remove all the arms before killing the boss.

I Chose You

Found a BOTECS Power Core for your companion drone.

Simply continue the story to unlock this, it is achived in the bio facillity.

Big Sister

Defeated the Big SISTER 1/3

The 3rd Boss you will come across, this is a 3 stage boss,

stage 1 is dodging the arm attacks and laser beam, dodge arms and attack them when they are stunned, you will have to dodge alot in this stage,

Stage 2 is attacking welding arms, this stage can be skipped and move onto stage 3, butr if you want you can attack these from behind, dodging when they turn arround, watch out for Big Sister laser.

Stage 3 is attacking Big Sister, best to stay far left and right of her, and attacking after you dodge, she has some 1hit KO moves, so doodge often.

To get this boss weapon MK.II you must defeat big sister with 2 Welding arms intact.

The Black Cerberus

Defeated the security chief of Echelon 9.

This boss is a pain, he hits hard, so take alot of health stims. quick attacks and dodging back are crucial to beat this boss, you will also face P.A.X again in this battle, and must make him destroy 2 White tanks fore special armor (included in video guide)

Received the security upgrade for your Exo-Rig.

Recived shortly after defeating security chief of Echelon 9.

Who's in Charge Here?

Found the Board.

Progress through the story and you will unlock this.

For the Good of Mankind

Finish the game after corrupting the Utopia protocols.

Links with Brave new World.

On the final level, Nucleus,in the room called Utopia Preparation Classified, there will be a console next to the core of the rocket that you can interact with to upload the virus, DO upload the virus to get this achievement.

Brave New World

Finish the game without corrupting the Utopia protocols.

Links with For The Good Of Mankind.

On the final level, Nucleus,in the room called Utopia Preparation Classified, there will be a console next to the core of the rocket that you can interact with to upload the virus, DO NOT upload the virus to get this achievement. Uploading the virus will net you the "For the Good of Mankind" achievement. Will require two playthroughs minimum to get this.

Most Wanted

Provoked and defeated the security forces in Central Production B.

In area 2, just after you leave you will see these guys standing behind a thin door, you can bait one out to make the fights easier.

Infidel

Defeated the vending machine cult.

Found in the 2nd level, just like the above achivement, its best to bait them and face them one at a time. they are located near the entrance to R&D Labs.

Pusher Man

Helped someone refill their supply of medicine.

Although you will meet this guy very early, you will need to go to area 3 (Bio Labs) to find his "medicine". he will ask you for this in area 2, This must be done before reaching the 4th area (R&D) Edit suggested by; Taddy Mason

Shall Not Pass

Defeated the guard at the NUCLEUS elevator.

This is located in the Excutive Forum, These guys are passive, so bait them out.

Melting Down

Defeated all five smelting machines.

Smelting machines can be found;

The first Smelting Machine can be found in Abandoned Production near the large concrete pipes tucked away in the corner.

Inside the large recycling room in Central Planning B (where you need to activate the bridge), you will find two Smelting Machines. Defeating each machine gives you a Shining Coin.

When you make it to the outside of the Resolve Biolabs, you’ll see the Smelter Machine (it’s pretty hard to miss). This Smelter Machine is surrounded by acid, which makes the fight a bit of a pain.

The final Smelter can be found progressing past Bio Labs, you will return to Central Processing B, And in the first room you will find the last smelter (cooling towers)

Now that we have 5 Shining Coins, we need to spend them. To do this, return to Central Planning B and enter the Conveyor Hub area. Look for the door with ‘GOD’ spray painted above it. Inside this room are a number of enemies around a vending machine. Dispatch all the enemies. With the enemies gone, drop the 5 Shining Coins into the machine and activate the console that appears.

Duty-Bound

Accompanied a lost soul on her quest to find herself.

Side quest involving Irina Beckett. She can be first found by the two security guards in central station for the achievement "Most Wanted". She'll ask for a better staff, easiest way to get this is to kill the security guards near by and chop their weapon arm off. This will suit her.

The second time you encounter her is in the circulation building on one of the top floors. This one is hard to miss as progression requires you to go by her, though you have to have talked to her and given her a staff in order for her to make it here. Simply talk to her and exhaust all options and she'll move on.

The third and most expensive time to meet her will be after having security spread out through the facility and coming back from R&D. She'll be on the path from the first OPS location and the security door, by the Toxic Waste Elevator. She'll now require you to give her the 3 missing Gorgon pieces to complete her security uniform. These are the same armor the security guards will have so simply cut off the head, body and legs and build these parts. She already has the arms so you don't need to get these. After giving her the rest of the Gorgon armor of any upgraded value, you'll be good.

The last time you meet her will be in the Executive forum, on the way up to the board room. Just before reaching the top floor you'll find a staircase after a vent shaft and a room straight across. Go into this room and you'll find a shortcut back to the lower floor of executive forum and Irina. She'll try to tell you to leave her alone but after exhausting her dialogue she'll turn hostile. Not attacking at first but on guard and targetable. Simply kill her for the achievement, cutting off her weapon arm will net the Peacekeeper staff and interesting dialogue should you return it to her in NG+.

Repeat Customer

Gave Jo Tech Scrap three times.

Easy to miss achievement despite easy to find locations. Upon entering the toxic waste portion of the main facility you'll hear Jo talking to you. She's located in the pipe on the right as soon as walking in. She'll ask for 5,000 scrap the first time. This has to be done before killing Firebug.

The second time you'll encounter Jo will be right before the Big Sister fight in one of the pipes in the Builder Service Access before going up the exo lift. She'll need 10,000 scraps. This has to be done before killing Big Sister.

The third time you'll encounter her will be in the R&D zone at the top floor after finding the first aid station in the Exhibition Hall. She'll need 15,000 scrap. Do this before leaving the R&D department after talking to Barrett.

Ghost in the Machine

Accompanied a father and his little daughter on their way through the facility.

Started in R&D's Medbay, do not answer "she is dead" other than that its a rather simple quest. to find "maddy" she is at the top of Nano-Production in R&D.

OPERATOR

Acquired a full set of OPERATOR gear.

You will need to take the limbs from enemies wearing Lynx Armor. you have to take armored parts from the enemy, not blue limbs. you will need;

2 Lynx Leg Gear.
2 LYNX Arm Gear.
1 LYNX Head Gear.
1 LYNX Body Gear

Wearing a full set of LYNX gear grants increased attack speed while at or near full health.

Other Operator gear sets must follow the above list but can be from the following;

Liquidator Gear; Wearing a full set of Liquidator gear grants bonus addtional elemental resistance.

Chrysalis Gear; Wearing a full set of Chrysalis Gear causes you to regain health whenever you kill an enemy.

IRONMAUS Gear; Wearing a full set of IRONMAUS Gear causes your drone's anti-kinetic shield to also greatly increase your stability.

GOLLIATH

Acquired a full set of GOLIATH gear.

same as Operator, gear sets are;

RHINO Gear; Wearing a full set of RHINO gear grants increased impact while under the effect of implants that boost your weapon damage.

MG Cerberus Gear; Wearing a full set of MG Cerberus Gear grants increased defenses when at high level of energy.

PROTEUS Gear; Wearing a full set of PROTEUS Gear grants Passive Health regeneration and increases the amount of all healing effects.

Bloodied PROTEUS Gear; Same as PROTEUS Gear

Black Cerberus Gear; Wearing a full set of Black Cerberus Gear grants increased damage at a high level of energy.

SENTINEL

Acquired a full set of SENTINEL gear.

The same as the two above, gear sets are;

SCARAB Gear; Wearing a full set of SCRAB gear increases the effect of all Vital Boost implants.

MG Gorgon Gear; Wearing a full set of MG Gorgon gear grants increased stamina regeneration.

Elite Hazard Gear; Wearing a full set of Elite Hazard Gear alters the effect of your drone's Emergency Coolant Vent Ability, causing it to instead vent a cloud of toxic gas.

Gear Up

Enhanced your Exo-Rig for the first time.

Core Power

Reach Core level 80.

Should be easily done, just keep ploughing scrap into your rig at the Medbay.

Right Tool for the Job

Upgraded a weapon using the Nano Core crafting component.

Jack of All Trades

Reached level 5 weapon proficiency in each of the weapon types.

Very simple, get the 5 diffrent weapon types to level 5 (the EXP bar is the boottom left when the weapon is equipped) The Catagories are;

Single-rigged Weapons.

Staves.

Heavy-duty Weapons.

Single-rigged Weapons.

Twin-rigged Weapons.

It Lives! It Sniffs! It Conquers!

Acquired the Iron Maus gear.

Melting down MUST be achived before you can attempt this.

Now that we have 5 Shining Coins, we need to spend them. To do this, return to Central Planning B and enter the Conveyor Hub area. Look for the door with ‘GOD’ spray painted above it. It's Blue Light

Killed an enemy in a dark zone using the ASTir SpecterBite.

The ASTir Specterbite is found on the first human enemy in the game, simply target his weapon arm and take it, equip it and make your way through the factory unitl you are underground, now kill an enemy.

Nothing To Lose

Carried more than 50,000 Tech Scrap.

Simple, Just dont spend you scrap, goes well with Overconfident (below)

Overconfident

Defeated a boss while carrying at least 20,000 Tech Scrap.

Best attempted on the 1st or 2nd boss, as these are easy to get to fast if you die to reclaim your scrap.

CREO Killed the Video Star

Met Don Hackett.

Found in the Excutive Forum, first door you come across from the Security Station.

Sunglasses at Night

Found yourself some sunglasses.

As soon as you fall into the R&D department after the Big Sister fight, there will be a staircase going up with a bot and drone at the top. Before going up the stairs there will be a small opening in the fence to the right. Go in here and quickly run to the end and use your drone to power the nearby drone. Be vary alert here as the room will fill with gas and will do a lot of damage over time. Inside the door will be the sunglasses on the table.

Turing Test

Met Sally in person.

Sally can be found in The server room, within the Excutive Forum, she is not what you will be expecting, she is a Server. you have to inspect her which can be tricky and fidlly.

Was That Yours?

Defeated a boss with its own weapon. You can do this on NG+

♥♥♥♥ Machinalis

Killed Barrett after his transformation into ♥♥♥♥ Machinalis.

At the End of R&D do not kill the doctor, let him talk, Then progress with the Story, Return to the Doctor after you have discoverd the Board, then simplly return and kill him as a robot.

Simply when fighting Cabon Cat put on your Iron Maus Costume, doing so will grant you the MKII Version of Scarpglaive Of The Cat

Rusty Rat can be found whilst chasing down Carbon Cat, Just walk up to him and interact to free him.
You must save him ASAP as he will blow up if you twiddle you thumbs.

Unlocked the Rusty Spring Tower

Found after defeating Cheif Helvig, just walk into the tower and use it, will unlock this as a fast travel into the pit.

Regarding Repeat Customer:

You can pick up the Equalizer (the weapon found in Jo's hideout, replaces the sunglasses if you gave Techscrap to her) but you NEED to make the right dialogue choice when meeting her for the third time, otherwise the achievement will become impossible for this playthrough. Choose to trade tech scrap for the weapon, DO NOT give her the weapon back, and obviously don't just do nothing. Trading scrap counts as giving her scrap for the third time and the achievement will unlock. Alternatively just don't pick up the Equalizer when you first walk past her hideout, you can get it later on anyway.

I'm pissed. My first playthrough the Ghost in the Machine questline bugged out when Maddy was hiding behind the shipping containers because her dialogue prompt wouldn't work. Now on my second playthrough Alec Norris is stuck in a dialogue loop in Ops and just keeps saying something like "Daddy's gonna make it better."

i got the achivement for was that yours achivement, during the security chief boss fight, it wasnt an instant unlock, but it does unlock well fighting that pax like the others.
might be delayed, or not register always when fighting those specific pax?

I can confirm If you have "The Good, the Bad and the Augmented" DLC there is a PAX in episode 3 and killing it with the weapon from the first main game boss "PAX" will unlock "Was That Yours?" achievement.

It only triggers when you kill the boss that dropped it with the weapon. The other PAX is a different PAX.

I would think that trashing the PAX in the security chief boss fight with the weapon that the PAX boss in the abandoned production area drops would trigger the Was That Yours? achievement.

Does it work like this, or can you only get the achievement on a ng+
