Touhou - Alternate Leaders

Description
Adds alternate leaders to Touhou civilizations that contain viable characters. Requires Sukritact's Events and Decisions and both expansions.

All but two leaders have their own Unique Abilities that replace the original leader's. The leaders in this mod are not selected through the setup screen; instead, if Sukritact's Events and Decisions[forums.civfanatics.com] is loaded, players may switch leaders at any time during the Ancient Era by enacting their respective decisions. After switching leaders or leaving the Ancient Era, the leader cannot be changed again. The AI will never change leaders.

Installing all supported mods is not required. As long as you are playing one of the supported civilizations, you will receive the option to change leaders throughout the Ancient Era.

Contents:

Satori Komeiji - Third Eye: Receive a +2% bonus to Science in the Capital for every active surveillance network. Receive an extra Spy upon reaching the Renaissance Era. Requires Touhou - Palace of the Earth Spirits by Huitzil.

Flandre Scarlet - Unlimited Destruction: All military Units gain +15% Combat Strength and an additional 15% Combat Strength against Cities. Requires Touhou - Remilia Scarlet by Graan and Tetraoxygen.

Tanned Cirno - Great Fairy Wars: Exactly the same as regular Cirno, but with a tan. Requires Touhou - Great Fairy Alliance by Huitzil.

Mononobe no Futo - Bagua of the Empire: Each non-Capital City gains a +2 bonus to a specific yield based on its direction from the Capital. North: Production, South: Culture, East: Faith, West: Food, Northeast: Science, Southeast: Gold, Northwest: Happiness, Southwest: Tourism. Requires Touhou - Toyosatomimi no Miko by Bismuth.

Shou Toramaru - Jewelled Pagoda: Gain a free source of Gems for every Myouren Temple Branch and a free Great Writer upon researching Philosophy. Requires Touhou - Byakuren's Myouren Temple by Bismuth.

Yuugi Hoshiguma - Onikakushi: Exactly the same as Suika, but taller. Requires Touhou - Oni Clans by bouncymischa.

Seija Kijin - Double-dealing: All military Units have their Combat Strength permanently reduced by 20% and all players not on Seija's team who make a Declaration of Friendship with Seija gain +2 Faith per era per turn. Gain +2 global Happiness and Culture in the Capital for every player denouncing or at war with Seija. All military Units gain a +70% boost to Combat Strength for five turns after declaring war on a friend. Requires Touhou - Kobito by BoringDuck.

Suwako Moriya - Divine Industry: +1 Faith for every Workshop, Forge, Factory, Nuclear Plant, and Solar Plant. Cities generate 1 Production for every 2 Faith they produce, and each Mountain in a City's borders adds 1 Faith and 1 Production. Requires Touhou - Moriya Shrine by bouncymischa.

Civilization V does not naturally support multiple leaders, so be aware of the following issues:

When you change leaders, all instances of the same leader will change into the new one. For example, if there are two Mikos in a game and you are one of them, switching to Futo will also switch the other Miko. Leader-switching is accomplished by actively editing database entries to transform one leader into another; therefore, there is no known workaround for this.

The Palace of the Earth Spirits, Scarlet Mansion, Fairy Alliance, and Formless Domain of the Boundary icons appear broken in the decisions list. This is likely because these mods were not made to support Events and Decisions, but is a cosmetic issue only.

The character displayed on the pause menu will not update until you load a save file while in-game.

Because of the dependence on Sukritact's Events and Decisions, this mod is not compatible with multiplayer.

There is normally no way to change computer players into the new leaders. If you really want to play with one or more of them, you can go into ThAlternateLeadersLua.lua and remove either the lines enforcing the civilization requirements for the decisions (e.g. if pPlayer:GetCivilizationType() ~= GameInfoTypes.CIVILIZATION_EARTHSP then return false, false end) or the lines restricting the AI from switching leaders (e.g. if pPlayer ~= Players[Game.GetActivePlayer()] then return false, false end). Everything should work mechanically in theory, but this has not been tested. The diplomacy window will also show the original leaders and their dialogue.

There is no new music, so you will continue to hear the themes of the original leaders after switching.

You may get your leader as a spy. Try not to overwork yourself.

Modified Lua files from Touhou - Remilia Scarlet, Touhou - Kobito, and Touhou - Moriya Shrine are included in the mod so as to overwrite them and suppress the original Unique Abilities when not playing as the original leaders.
