Three Gorges Dam Wonder

Built across the Yangtze River in the Hubei Province of China, the Three Gorges Dam is the largest Hydroelectric Power Station currently in existence by total capacity. Apart from the ship lift, it was completed fully in July 2012, although several parts had been complete since 2003, when the reservoir began to fill. The level of discharge from the dam increases during the dry months to give more water for agricultural and industrial uses downstream. Ingame, the Three Gorges Dam provides a +25% Production boost if the Order policy is adopted, as well as a free Hydro Plant, while the city must be built on a river, and Ecology is required.
