1.The Basics
Who is Valkyrie? And what does she do?

Meghan J. Castellano A.K.A Valkyrie, is the Navy Seal's CTU Defender, Her Gadget is the MK2 "Black Eye" Gyro Camera. This is a throwable portable camera that can be placed in most any spots and act as a second surveillance system along with the stock cams. This can help immensely due to the fact that the stock cameras for the maps are usually taken out quickly.

Valkyrie's selection of firearms is very limited although both options sport a Jack-of-All-Trades type deal. They are as follows

SMG's
SIG MPX

Shotguns
SPAS-12

Handguns
IMI Desert Eagle (D-50)
2.The Equipment
Valkyrie has a limited selection to work with, sporting opposites of eachother in terms of range. In this section we will break down the specs of both weapons and loadouts for Valkryie.

Side Note: I have no idea why this entire section is bolded even though its bolded for specific things, so at 4:38 AM EST i said ♥♥♥♥ it.

SIG MPX
Damage: 25 (21 Suppressed)
RoF: 830
Mobility: 50
Capacity: 30 (+1)

The MPX is the only SMG Valkyrie has access to, but is a monster in CQC and midrange combat, while this gun has a bit more recoil due to the higher RoF this weapon is a headshot machine.

Personal Loadout:
Optic: Holographic
Muzzle: Compensator
Grip: Vertical Foregrip (VFG)
Underbarrel: None, Thatcher would be upset otherwise.

Why i do what i do: The optic of course is pure preference so we wont touch on that, however the Compensator and VFG make this gun very controllable while having enough recoil to get you that headshot if you are off your mark, this does support the Angled Foregrip (AFG) although i havent used it enough to give an opinion on its viability with the MPX

Some other things you can try: Try out the AFG if it suits you, feel free to play around with the optics and muzzle attachments as well, make the MPX how you feel is best for your personal playstle.

Where to aim: with the MPX if you arent great at sight placement you can aim around the upper chest or collarbones and the recoil will get it done, or you can aim center mass and chew your opponent apart.

SPAS-12
Damage: 33
RoF: ~140
Mobility: 50
Capacity: 7

The SPAS is a beast of a shotgun for close range much like the M1014 however it can take apart walls much easier than the M10 and is on par with the M10 in mid range combat, in CQC this shotgun shines much like most other semi auto shotguns.

Personal Loadout:
Optic: Reflex/Holographic
Underbarrel: None, no angry old British men for me thanks.

Why i do what i do: the optic of course again is preference, as for the laser sight i just never liked them, they give away your position and it would be nice if you could toggle the sight on or off as not to give your position away to the enemy.

Some other things you can try: if the laser sight works for you great, Thatcher isnt happy but you will be.

IMI Desert Eagle (D-50)
Damage: 68
RoF: ~270 RPM
Mobility: 50
Capacity: 7 (+1)

The Desert Eagle is a monster of a handgun but dont let the large frame fool you, this thing will kick like a pissed off mule

Personal Loadout:
Underbarrel: Okay, i admit it, yes i HAVE put a laser sight on this

Why i do what i do: The laser sight isnt there anymore, but jesus christ.. this thing is a ♥♥♥♥♥ to shoot with iron sights, makes me wish we could put red dots on our pistols. for those of you who find it too hard to use with sights, slap a laser on it and hipfire, works most of the time.

Some other things you can try: laser sight or no laser sight, its up to you, as for shooting, moderate pace tap fire and aiming center of mass as with most pistols will win you the day
3.How to play Valkyrie
Easy Version
Step 1: Find a good spot for a camera
Step 2: Throw that ♥♥♥♥♥♥
Step 3: Profit and hold your face as demonstrated in this picture

Advanced Version
There are literally millions of possible places and too many objectives to cover to tell you what the best way to place Valkyrie cameras is, but i will cover it anyway in a very brief yet broad example.

What to do:
Depending on the objective there are too many places you can put cams, some great, some horrible. What you want to do is cover the approaches of the objective, find a few good spots in the upper corners or even on the floors or various objects. The important part is, that you have an inconspicuous yet encompassing camera system that has eyes on every (or most) possible entrance. if there are stairs get a cam there that watches the traffic. If there is a long hallway, get a cam there. If there is a common spot attackers like to push from, put a cam there. Its all very self explanatory however there is one more way that i myself dont like to do, you can throw a camera outside and get your team peekers (if any) a great view and also give yourself and other inside defenders a good idea on where they might enter or where they are.
4.Camera placement tips and Popular spots
In this section we will cover some tips and tricks with the cams and i will go over some cam placements across the most picked objective of all maps

Presidential Plane/Secure Area/Luggage Hold

1.In the medical bay next to the objective above the door watching towards the Obj
2.On the ceiling of the connector hallway between the actual luggage hold and the Obj
3.On the other side of the plane watching the stairs and luggage hold

Oregon/Secure Area/Basement

1.On the main stairs top right hand corner after you reinforce
2.Next to the hatch near supply room (Meeting Room hatch) watching the hallway going to Obj
3.This is a power play, put a cam on the corner wall in the blue bunker room and ask a team mate to watch it, (This is if you are feeling ballsy) when he sees someone peek them. But if you dont like/feel like peeking, i usually put it on the back stairs watching bunker and stairs

Kanal/Secure Area/Boat Supplies

1.On the main wall in the top left hand corner watching the Obj
2.In the coast guard office watching the hatch and the room itself
3.Near the dark end of the hallway next to Obj

Kafe Dostoyevsky/Secure Area/Train Museum

1.Top right hand corner of the window in Mining Room
2.Top right hand corner of the wall of Fireplace Hall parallel to the fireplace
3.Top left hand corner closest to the hatch of Cigar Lounge watching the room

House/Secure Area/Master Bedroom

1.Above the triple windows in the middle in bathroom
2.Above the clock on back stairs
3.On one of the posts of the 2nd floor railing watching the entrance to bathroom, kids room, and the master bedroom

Hereford Base/Secure Area/Armory

1.Top right hand corner of Ladder Room next to the racks
2.Under the bench in the corner of lockers... Real sneaky beaky like.
3.You can do No. 2 or you can do this instead, there are little drone hole like vents on the upper part of the main wall of Armory, toss a cam in one of them and get a view into the room and lockers.
4.Either in projector room or watching stairs, take your pick

Consulate/Secure Area/Archives

1.In Visa Office watching the two hatches
2.On top of the fridge or in a corner watching Kitchen
3.Above blue hallway door looking towards the objective

Clubhouse/Secure Area/Armory

1.In the tunnel there is a darkspot directly in the door and to the left, this gives you a view on the left side to see if someone is sitting there and a view on the door to see if they are about to push
2.In the corner of kitching watching the hatch
3.above the door of garage ladder room hallway looking towards the Obj

Chalet/Secure Area/Snowmobile Garage
Disclaimer: I usually take Mira on this room so this will be my best guess
1.In the white hallway right behind the main wall
2.In wine cellar watching the door to Obj
3.in the main lobby just throw that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to the very top of the roof, you can see the 2nd floor and the first. win win

Bank/Secure Area/Lockers

1. in the garage on the left side of the shutter, most of the time attackers dont check above the door they just came through for Valkyrie cams
2.In the CCTV room watching towards the Obj
3.Either watching the stairs or watching the elevator and bank vault entrance
OTHER TIPS: you can throw a cam onto the skylights and get a view on both 2nd and 1st floors, works best on the skylight near archives, you can see the railing above and most of the floor below. another thing i like to do is throw a cam on one of the pillar supports in main lobby, more than 90% attackers will shoot out the stock cam in there so its nice to have one there

Yacht/Secure Area/Casino

1.Out the main door on a top kind of arch watching the hallway
2.Above in cockpit watching the hatch
3.out the side door by bar on the corner watching the stairs and window

Border/Secure Area/Office
Disclaimer: This is my favorite Objective to defend. Period. Office is my ♥♥♥♥
1.Over by the main hallway there is a kind of decorative wood... thing. shoot the ♥♥♥♥ out of it and throw a cam on the top part, its like the spot in Armory for hereford base. same concept one view in the hallway and the other in the room, win win
2.In the archive room next to the Obj there is a fan, toss it there
3.In the room above the window everyone peeks through, good to have it there in case someone is contesting and sitting there

Favela.
Im sorry, but ♥♥♥♥ this map. alright fine.

Favela/Secure Area/Armory
Disclaimer:This map sucks imho
1.Above the main door
2.In the next room over by the motorcycles
3.one on the main wall of the stairwell room

Skyscraper/Secure Area/Tea Room

1.One on the top corner of the stairs
2.Refer to No. 1, just get the other stairwell.
3.One watching the hallway of Obj

Bartlett University/Secure Area/Model Hall (Better known as Trophy)

1.On the main window top right hand corner, useful for seeing when people hop in the room mainly for your team mates but you can use it effectively as well
2.Somewhere watching the stairs and room next to Obj
3.In the office room watching the Obj

Coastline/Secure Area/Kitchen

1.On the alcohol shelves in Sunrise Bar watching the door to the outside
2.In the white hallway above the door watching Obj
3.The stock cam near blue bar. yep. use it. No im only mucking about, put it in the plant right under it. Yeah im serious. Nobody has ever found it the multiple times ive had it there, maybe stray thatcher EMP's or IQ's find it but thats easy.

Here are some other tips with Valkyrie

-If you dont feel comfortable throwing cams outside, dont do it, Yes even if your team mates say things like "Valk if you dont throw a cam outside you're dead to me." Thats what one guy said to me, but i dont deal with that ♥♥♥♥. it is a game after all, play how you like. You do you boo boo.

-Sometimes i like to put cams on the floor just because nobody looks down when looking for cams

-Something else that i dont do but you could do is keep your cams and use them for your own roaming purpose you selfish devil you. Just toss em where you need to see and rush when ready

-The cool thing about the Desert Eagle is that it doubles as a shotgun! No really! You wont be taking out any hatches or anything like that, but you can make some big peek holes really easily. just put about 4 holes in the wall where you need the hole and voila! You have a sizeable hole you can look through. now its not as big as a sledge or buck hole, but its good enough to peek through.

-Buy the Overlord headgear for valk, its the best headgear for her IMHO but ironically after thinking on why it is the best, i realized, its the only one that covers her face... Oops. That and its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ creepy and i scare my friend with it all the time.

-Please Please Please Please Please on behalf of all avid valkyrie players, do NOT spot on our cams. that is all we ask, when attackers are spotted in an area they knew they destroyed the stock cam or in a spot they know they shouldnt be spotted in, that sends up a million red flags especially if they know you have a Valkyrie on your team. they will find it pretty easily, even if you switch off the cam.
