GWR Clerestory Coaches (Long).
Available: 1883-1939
Includes front & rear brake versions and placeable scenery assets (of GWR version).

GWR Clerestory Coach: Carries 12, 60mph (96kph), 1883-1939
GWR Clerestory Coach (Brake): Carries 8, 60mph (96kph), 1883-1939
Midland Railway/LMS Clerestory Coach: Carries 12, 62mph (100kph), 1882-1937

Several hundred of this style of long coach with bogies were built from the 1870s and used on the GWR. These were mostly compartment coaches with a clerestory roof housing the gas lighting, feed from tanks under the chassis. The brake coach housed the guard and extra luggage, and had a manual brake to hold the train when the engine was detached.

A generic early style clerestory coach in a Midland Railway livery. After grouping in 1923, the LMS largely retained the Midland Railway livery on clerestory coaches.

Supports user colours (except MR/LMS version). No aging or user logo. Includes placeable scenery Asset versions of GWR versions.

Update: Added Midland Railway version. Improved textures.
Update: Added Front Brake version. Improved detail. Changed end date.
Update: Models also available as placeable scenery Assets.
Update: Improved windows by adding transparency and dark interior.

@PineyCreek - Thanks. In short; no.
There weren't any LMS (or SR) coaches to go with two old Train Fever mods, so I did generic LMS and SR versions of my Collett coaches. Around the start of 2019, SteveM4 made quite a few Midland and LMS engines, then Killakanz also made a passenger LMS engine. So I then added Midland/LMS versions of these and the 'short' coaches. gr1m has also done a wide array of generic British steam coaches now. So I don't expect to do anymore LMS or MR, just GWR as usual.

Love the Midland Coaches you've been making. Are you now doing the Midland Railway and the LMS?

Fair enough, thank you.

It would be cool, but I don't have any plans for that. I might reconsider if mail became a cargo in the main game.

Would you consider doing a Royal Mail Car?

After a littel experiementing, I've just update these with improved windows by adding transparency and dark interior. (Still no plans to add passengers.)

I appreciate people would prefer them with proper windows and passenger. But I think to go the whole hog and do proper windows and passengers would take least the same amount of time again that I've already put into these. For my next carriages I'm going to try a halfway-house solutions of having semi transparent windows and simple interior (so you only see a bit of what's behind the carriage), but no passengers. Which will hopefully look better than these ones, without being massively time consuming. I'll see how that method goes before I think about doing anything else on these ones.

It would be great if you could could incorperate working interiors. Without them they comapare poorly with other passenger coaches in the game that have them.

The good news is these now go faster and are available for longer. The bad news is they'll now cost more to buy and run. This is for compatibility with my latest GWR engines which have just been published.

@JK, without interiors these models appear inferior and don't fit in. Would really apreciate an addition of an interior.
