Cheap Exterminator
1
Slow
Yes : Involved with
Description of involvement : If you don't kill all of the Cheap Exterminators in the level before you get the key to unlock the door to the boss area, these will spawn and protect the door. The amount of them depends on the remaining cheap exterminators in the level
This is why you shouldn't interupt other people's business, peeps. They'll kill you

Knowing yourself
You have 2 abilities: Attacking ( C ) and Dashing ( X )
- Dashing : You can dash through mobs / enviromental objects that can damage you ( such as blood river, spikes... ) / projectiles ( Fireballs, throwing knifes ) without being damaged ( gains invulnerability until the end of the dash )
- Your attack has delay ( 2 attacks / 2 second )
Preview[i.gyazo.com]
But if you dash you'll immediately gain 1 attack
Preview[i.gyazo.com]
- Healing orb ( ) can fully fill up your dashing stamina, even if your health is full or not. So DO NOT dash into healing orbs if your health is full, unless if you want to fill your stamina instantly.
Swift strike ( Dash & strike )
https://i.gyazo.com/6b3c87c081dbf1db7c474659fc1a1fb1.mp4

- You can swift strike, by dashing and hitting right afterwards ( Genji mains likes this ). But this will remove your invulnerabillity when dashing, meaning that if you dash & attack before crossing anything that was listed in "Dashing" section above such as blood river, you'll take damage before you can cross it.

- Very helpful when dealing with multiple enemies at mid-range, but can be bad if you're trying to dealing with enemies that can survive after 1 hit, because you'll end up ramming into them and losing health
Caution : Do not use swift strike if your enemy is too close to you. ( like the mistake i made in the gif above ==' )
Who should i use swift strikes with?
* You DEFINITELY use swift strike with 1 hit ( 1 health ) mobs ( Ghosts, lovesicker, etc,... ). Just dash then hit and ram right into them, but make sure they aren't too close to you before you can execute the strike
* You can use Swift strike with these but be caution :
+ 2 or more hits ( >2 health ) mobs ( Skeleton, skeleton with armor... ). It's best to strike them from the side, avoid striking them when they're in the same row with you. Preview[i.gyazo.com]
+ Bosses ( Check out this guide if you wanted to beat bosses easily ) : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=894775817
+ Pink cloud ( or slime or something like that, idk ). OKAY IT'S A BALL OF RATS Preview[i.gyazo.com]
+ Wizards ( both skeleton and bird wizard ). After swift striking, dash away from their dead bodies, otherwise you'll get burned, because they spawn fire on death. You can dash through their fireballs ( DASH THROUGH, NOT DASH & STRIKE THROUGH. STRIKING WHILE DASHING WILL LOSE YOUR INVULNERABILITY ). With skeleton wizards, i suggest you should swift strike them from the side, avoid direct swift striking on the same lane with them, leading you might ram into them without invulnerability
Tips : You can dash through them right after they cast fireballs to absorb all of it and then attack them.
+ Autumn Ghost : Remember that you can dash through knifes projecties. So use this as your advantage and dash to the Ghost right after it throw a knife and hit them.

Tips: Using enviromental traps such as spikes, blood river killing them is also a good idea. So if you encounter a horde of Autumn Ghost, dash around the room, where there are many traps + wizards, so they'll throw projectiles and accidentally kill each other or fall into traps and die.
Tips to win the game + achievements
Rush to the key and kill these later, if you're good enough to bait them one by one to follow you, they will be easy to kill.
If you want the good ending, DO NOT KILL THE BORB IN THE 2ND LEVEL. Remember the patterns he said ( there will be 4 in total ) and at level 10 there will be a passage on the left that leads to a place with 8 coffins and open by patterns. Apply the said patterns in the order, then there will be a coffin spawns in the middle of the room and open it, and use the key to seal the wound on the giant cat that you'll meet by continuing to the end of the road. Then beat the boss. Easy win

The balls of rats are based off of a "rat king". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rat_king

Curiously, I thought the balls of rats were balls of mice, but in retrospect, rats makes more sense. Also, the small balls (most prominent in Level 1) are actually separate enemies, and they move fast.

Idk but in my theory it has something involved with ( spoiler ) the cat that's bleeding at the end of the game. That cat maybe is Palecat herself, so everytime you escalate a level, Palecat ( you ) will get weaker and weaker, until you seal off the wound ( Good ending ).

why do you lose health permanently?

Yep already acknowledged that, but too busy to fix them all again :P

i think the "cloud of slime" is actually like, a cluster of rats, because that one boss is just a giant one of those and it comes from a ton of rats all piling together
