Mira tips and Tricks

Just little Tip and ticks that some may or may not Know or understand, I wish i could make a video instead, but i cant yet cause of the heat and Limitations of my computer.

FIRST OFF

DONT HIT THE CANISTER AT THE FIRST SIGHT OF A PERSON. You people are the Dumbest people out there...

Okay, but really in my opinon its generaly i bad idea to Activate that gas can and drop the glass. There are a few times where it works, like when A thermite or hibana are about to destory the mirror and you have no other choice, open it see if you can do some damage.

Nice against thermite cause he has to get close, witch makes things 10x scaryer when theres an open Mira Window right beside/above you.

I think this one is obvious.

But i'll explain anyways.

Find a wall that requires 2+ reinforcments, use one and place your Mirror on it, you can then look through the Black Mirror and 'Peak' the un-reinforced wall with a good knowledge of the location of your enemy.

Dose this view look a bit small?

Well, if you go on the other side and shoot up the wall around it. (Note this only works on reinfoced walls.. Duh..)

Now your view should be great!

No really, i havnt seen anyone but myself do this.. Personaly i think it gives a Ton more view of the room

P.S. if its on a wall that goes outside, you can shoot the wall before hand and THEN reinforce it.

Being attacked from another direction.

Sometimes you have a case like this where the door is on the same side as your Mirrors.

You can trigger the Black Mirror and then head to the other side. (In this case i have two shotguns for testing, but you will most likely have the Vector.)

Under Floor C4

C4 is a pain and a little OP sometimes. So why not set up before hand?


Not only can you see Exactly when the bad guy jumps in, but your completely safe while you watch them fly, And you may be surpised by how many spots there are like this if you look around carefully.(This works fine for other operators, just takes a little more skill, ...mostly luck, that or good headphones. Good headphones can be OP sometimes..)


Just one example that took me 10 seconds of serching..

"Double Mira" strat.

This is much like the Tip "I think this one is obvious"

But incase some dipSH*T reinforces the wall next to your Black Mirror.


You can just do this!

Now to me it's kind of a waste, but after looking more closely at the perks of doing this, its not the worst idea.


The perks are that it is a much smaller spot to hit you since you are covered by the Reinforced wall, another is that instead of guessing once you peak the wall based on there last known position, you can see and try and aim at them. (Like in the duel pictures above this one.)

The downsides are that there is now a big hole in that wall from the start, now a set up like this isnt bad cause its in the middle of two objectives, buf if the baddies take the room that have the Mirrors working for them, then it becomes a big problem.

@dextster but you would have to reaveal yourself to them that way, if you mark them through the Mirror, they have no idea your there, then you peek an un-damaged, Un-reinforced wall, and they cant see you wile you shoot at the mark instead of guessing. windows would have to be broken, therefor revealing yourself.

And if the're not looking, you may aswell line up the shot instead of marking..

Another idea! Put your mira trap on an unreinforced wall, and either find someone with an impact/nitro cell or use her shotgun. Put the mira window on the bottom part of the wall. Blow a massive hole above the mira window, enough for you to see most of the room. Make sure that the hole is not right on top of the mira window, around a few cms above the mira window. There if you see someone, you jump up and spray and pray.
