Intro
I have been working on some maps for the community with friends, this will be a basic overview of how to download and install the maps we've made to player over multiplayer. If you have created any maps yourself please fell free to post a link to them. I will try to keep this post up to date untill the devs get the game linked with the steam workshop. Please keep in mind that future updates may cause your maps or maplist to be deleted.

I will try to keep a updated list of the maps currently on dropbox so you can check here for updates!
When the maps are updated please replace/delete your local version with the updated map folders.

Updated 4/26 new maps added
Black Hole
Bridge The Gap 2v2
Bridge The Gap 4v4
Co-op Fortitude
Drop The Fort 2v2
Showdown 4v4
Wasteland 2v2 (Designed by Mr.Slendy)
Close Quarters 4v4 (created by g2)
Desert Arena 4v4 (created by g2)
Co-op Jungle (created by Hulk Brogan)

PLEASE NOTE that you can only play these maps with other players that have downloaded them and followed these steps!!!
Download and Install
Please note you no longer have to use the multiplayer_demo.lua file to add maps to your map list!

As of right now you can do this while in the lobby without causing a crash.

1.Download the map folders file from dropbox. Unzip the map folders.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/q1ufos4svxspa9s/maps%20%283%29.rar?dl=0

2.Locate your Forts/data/maps folder and transfer the map folders to this location.

4. Start a private multiplayer game to test and select one of the maps from my list. Please note ONLY PLAYERS WITH THESE MAPS INSTALLED CAN PLAY THEM!!!!! It will probably result in a crash otherwise, its a fairly simple process to have friends install them so this shouldn't be a huge issue.

Thanks
You no longer have to manually edit your multiplayer_demo.lua file THANKS DEVS!

Thanks again to the devs for creating such a great game! I will be hosting our community made maps please feel free to join up!

Why cant you up/download maps into the Community Workshop? That was much easier than downloading them via browser etc.

Please note: the map lists are now obsolete. You do not need to replace or edit skirmish_demo.lua or multiplayer_demo.lua to make new maps available. Just copy in the map folder(s) and enjoy :)

How do you put your own map (editor made) on the list of maps for skirmish or multiplayer?

You will have to record the AI for one side of your map then you can follow the exact process as adding it to multiplayer but in the skirmish_demo.lua
