Detailed Overview Of All Important Smokes On De_Cache

Introduction

Hello and welcome to best Cache Smoke Guide on the Internet.
In this guide I am going to show you all basic and advanced smokes needed to successfully play de_cache.
You can use this guide as a database for you and your friends being a detailed basis for basic and advanced team tactics. This guide does not only contain basic, tactical and situational smokes ensuring that you know a good smoke for every situation, it also shows you the jumpthrow bind which is very useful when operating with smokes.
All these smokes apply for 64 tick servers, so be careful they may not work on 128 tick servers.
So let us get right into it!

Jumpthrow Bind

The jumpthrow bind is a very helpful script when it comes down to throwing and hitting difficult smokes consistently.

How do I install the script?

Create new config in library:

"...\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg"

Win+R > notepad > Paste bind > Save as "###.cfg"

Bind:

alias "+jumpthrow" "+jump;-attack"  
alias "-jumpthrow" "-jump"  
bind "mouse4" "+jumpthrow"

After that:
Open Launch options and type "-exec ###"
• ### - name config

Congratulations you successfully installed the jumpthrow bind.
If the bind still does not work open console and type "exec ###"

Can I modify it to my personal preferences?

Yes, you can change the key to any key you want. To edit the scipt open the cfg file with an editor and exchange the key (mouse4 in this case) with the key you want it to be binded to.

How do I use it?

The script is very easy to use. Get into position to throw the smoke then press and hold the left mouse button and press your jumpthrow bind key to jump and release the smoke at the peak of your jump.

Mid Smokes

Connector, from T Spawn

• tactical smoke blocking off connector
  
• helpful when going mid to A
  
• can be thrown every round to gain mid control
  
• might be risky because white box is not smoked off

Left Mid, from Garage

• tactical smoke blocking off left mid and connector
  
• good in combination with right mid smoke
  
• helpful when going mid to B

Right Mid, from Garage

• tactical smoke blocking off right mid and white box
  
• good in combination with left mid smoke
  
• helpful when going mid to B

A Smokes

Truck, from A Long

• tactical smoke blocking off anyone holding from truck
  
• good in combination with spot and forklift smoke

A Spot, from A Long

• tactical smoke blocking off anyone holding from spot
  
• good in combination with spot and forklift smoke
  
• enables planting the bomb for main, even in ecos

Forklift, from Main

• tactical smoke blocking off anyone holding from forklift
  
• good in combination with spot and truck smoke
  
• might not cover whole of forklift - be careful!

Highway, from Boost

• tactical smoke blocking off anyone holding from A spot
  
• good in combination with connector and truck smoke

B Smokes

B Main, from B Halls
Get into position, then pull the trigger of the smoke, run forward and throw the smoke when your crosshair hits the edge of the window.

• basic tactical smoke enabling throwing of all important smokes to go B
  
• good to block off anyone holding from vent room and to get into vent room
  
• basis for throwing heaven smoke

CT, from Toxic

• tactical smoke blocking off anyone holding from CT
  
• good in combination with heaven smoke

B Spot, from Toxic

• tactical smoke blocking off anyone holding from B
  
• good in combination with CT and heaven smoke
  
• kind of risky because the smoke might not cover the whole spot

Heaven, from B Main

• tactical smoke blocking off anyone holding from heaven
  
• good in combination with CT and spot smoke

Possible Bomb Site Takes

Basic A take

• 3 main / 2 squeaky
  
• smokes: spot, truck and forklift

Advanced A take

• 2 mid / 2 main / 1 squeaky
  
• connector smoke for mid
  
• highway and truck smoke for A

Basic B take

• 5 B
  
• smokes: B entrance, CT, B spot and heaven

Advanced B take

• 3 B / 2 mid
  
• left and right mid smoke for mid
  
• B entrance and spot smoke for B

CT Smokes

Main, from Truck

• basic smoke to throw every round preventing Ts from rushing

Garage, from Connector

• basic smoke to throw every round preventing Ts from rushing

B Main Offensive, from Heaven

• basic smoke to throw every round preventing Ts from rushing
  
• can be used to push aggressively and get some picks

B Main Defensive, from Heaven

• basic smoke to throw every round preventing Ts from rushing

B Spot Oneway, from B Spot

• situational oneway smoke to pick Ts
