Dark UI

In 1 collection by ButtJunkie
My gamplay, visual and UI mods
19 items
Description
Compatible with 2.8+

This mod is a UI recolour, giving it a more neutral, darker look.

Save-game friendly - turning it on and off is safe through the same game.
Achievment compatible.
Will work fine with almost any mod.

I'll give it an update soon.

Update?

Enabled buttons appear to be exactly the same colour as disabled buttons, causing much confusion
Ship's paths are also a very similar colour to the default hyperlane colour, causing them to blend in if you zoom out too far.

NP, I had to to test a nightmare on setups to find out about.

Sorry, no, I'm actually using it alone + UI patch.
The only thing I wasn't able to test was the Dark UI UIOD patch, as it needs Dark UI to work.
Took me hours to find out.

expanded colors may be the issue then?

IIRC the CTD was caused by issues with the updates to the game setup screens (which the color pallet overhauls touch upon)

sorry i can't be more help, GL

That selection worked until 3.0.3.

Yes, I'm using correct load order, using compatibility patch.

UIOD
other mods in a merged one, no issues found by Irony Mod Manager and no changed files.
Using following setup in that order:
-> Dark UI
-> UI Overhaul Dynamic - Dark UI
-> Expanded Colours [180 Colours]
-> UI Overhaul Dynamic + Expanded Colours

weird, couple thoughts:

have you tried redownloading main UIOD to make sure you got the updated files before turning off the beta uiod ?

and

are you using the compatibility patch loaded below both dark ui and UIOD?

this load order seems to work fine:

UIOD
Dark UI
Dark Blue UI Ironman (or whatever skin override you want here)
UIOD Dark UI
