Description
Skyscraper is a small sized custom zombies map. It is meant to keep the old vibes that Treyarch has created in the past with a set scene and location but doesn't get too advanced with its mechanics.

The main focus when I started this map was to get advanced spawns that utilized tranversals well. This will be shown throughout the map in obvious ways.

This map is not easy. The map is completely fair but a main goal of mine was to not have many areas (except for a few on purpose) that could be easy pickings. There are areas for training but victory will not be given to you without a fight.

It is my first map but has a lot of detail in it. I have been working on this for about a month and have gotten a lot done but also have a lot to do. If you have any suggestions then go into the discussion of this workshop piece. Any advice or suggestions are great.

I havent tried many of the things that a coop group would do, and prices are a bit odd. I also havent added much detail to many areas. This is in case of any major changes. Hope you enjoy!

BETA WARNING!

It is in a beta but this is mostly for bugs and smaller changes. The detail is lacking in my opinion but the map still looks great and feels alive especially with the power on. Try the map and if you like it please leave a message so people can know to try it.

Thanks to IceGrenade and all the others who worked on an improved start map with code. This map did not use his map file but it really helped me understand the language and much code was stolen from others who helped on that map.

The layout of the map is currently the strongest part, however weapon and perk choice are questionable. If you would like to see this map with different wall guns or custom weapons or perks let me know as I have the code ready to be inserted, however I personally wanted to remain as Vanilla as possible except for fixes. I didnt want to overdo it.

To-Do:

- Add Traps (coded but dont know where to add triggers that dont ruin the flow)
- Add greater detail in areas
- Add EE
- Fix Lighting in some areas

played it for the 1st time today and made it to round 52. pretty good map. more wonder weapons would be nice tho.

Sorry for the late update, was recently checking the map and realized that a whole 1,500 people have played this map, and 250 people are currently subscribed to it. Then people started adding it to their map collections, which really blew me away. This is amazing to me, seeing others play the map was something I had literally no expectation for. I just wanted to learn how to use a level editor.
But, the BO3 Mod Tools take up more than 100GB along with the game data taking another 50GB, so I had to uninstall a while ago and no future updates will be made for the map.
Thank you to everyone who enjoyed the map, had a lot of fun making it and learned a lot! Currently studying Game Programming at Champlain College and have many other projects underway.

Nah this was the first one I made, currently a freshman in college so time is short but have a few new scripts coming for future maps as well as scripting traps for this map and adding new spawns.

Sonic thanks for the comments man, this map was my first map and I somewhat neglected it once I released initial fixes. I just revisited and found out how to fix the spawning issues. I also plan on adding much more detail such as lights on doors as I feel their a bit hidden and better and more optimized lighting. Thanks for your input!

Hi there Chip, I came across this by pure luck, so wanted to share my experience with you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQcTfQE1s1U&t=25s and also identify a few issues. First one... where the box is first located, zombies only spawn near the box. If you watch the video, you will see what I mean. This also happens near Widows Wine as well. Again video will show. Otherwise its pretty good. Thank you for making it.

OK so 3 bugs.
- the zombies are in a constant switch when jumping up the wall & jumping off the wall in the box spawn.
- some textures/models are missing such as parts of the metal stairs in the Power/jug room & debris in the stairwell
- & there are 2 vesper wallbuys. one near the crane near the gg machine & the 2nd at the bar.
the map is basically golden afterwards.
