Bear's Super Star Achievement Guide

Includes breakdown of achievements as well as walkthrough.

Introduction

Hey everyone, I'm Bearboots and this is my guide for Super Star. I know there are probably very few people who make it to the end of this game but if you're a completionist like myself, here is a guide to help you along the way. Just to be clear, you will need to play through the game 2 or 3 times in order to complete it so get comfortable.

Star of... Achievements

Early in the game you will start off by doing simple jobs like street performing, working in a cafe and other things.



There are six jobs in total. Each job pops an achievement when you do the job twice (doesn't need to be consecutively) and achieve 3 stars (or above 150%).

Singer Competition Achievements

There are two singing competitions in Super Star namely

• The Voice of China
  
• The Singer of China

Compete and win both of these competitions to pop the achievements below.

Story Line Achievements

There are several storyline achievements which will unlock as your progress through the different tasks and level up your stats. You don't really need to focus on getting these, they'll happen naturally as you try to get to the more complex achievements.

Advertisement/Song/Movie Achievements

In your tab of different activities you can either

• work
  
• act in ads
  
• record songs
  
• act in films

We've already looked at the achievements that focus on the work tab, lets move one to the others.

When you complete an ad, recording or film you receive a popularity value. There are different level achievements based on the popularity received. It's important to keep in mind that for the highest level of the achievements below, there are only 2 or 3 options which you need to complete perfectly or you won't meet the target.

Something else to consider here are shop items which will up certain attributes. These can be purchased throughout the game.





The different adds have the following popularity. Note that the popularity listed below is if you complete the task perfectly. If you do not get a 200% approval rating, this will lower the popularity in any of the ads, songs or movies. Also remember you only get one shot at these, no do-overs so either tackle the harder ones in a second play through when you have the wish function that automatically has you perfectly complete the task or save and reload as necessary.

Super Achievements

Finally there are three super achievements. These ones can be tricky but essentially they focus on your becoming a 'triple-threat' if you will, that is to say you are a

• Singer (recording songs)
  
• Model (appearing in ads)
  
• Actors (acting in films)

If you are looking to complete this game, these will start to pop naturally as you progress to harder achievements but what's important to note here is that you can't just focus on one particular area. You need to even your skills out and do several tasks in ads, songs and movies. Don't worry, you do not need to complete every single job, just a few in each area across different difficulties (each new page of songs, ads or movies represents a new level or difficultly if you will)

Super Star Lvl 5 Achievement Walkthrough

I get asked quite often to go more in depth with the toughest achievement in the game 'Super Star' so finally now that I have a break from work I can make a detailed walkthrough! This will also help you if you're struggling with getting the last of the ads, movies and songs which have high attribute requirements.

Whenever possible, talk to new people, collect your rewards, CHANGE YOUR OUTFITS (as for some people this only pops after outfit changes which can unlock certain cutscenes to contribute towards this achievement) and move forward! The walkthrough doesn't tell you when to collect rewards, it would make this waaaay too long.

I started a new game but I also already had all four gem unlocks. Make sure you have these as well. It's important because whenever possible you want to use the skip (or wish) option so that you automatically get three stars. This will also double the amount of attribute points you get. You'll also want to use the gold finger ability when studying so that you don't lose out on precious combo points.

Also just a disclaimer here - this is my exact playthrough so this is not the only way to do this! There are tons of things in the walkthrough that you can tweak to fit your own playstyle or achievement hunting goals. Have fun with it!

So let's begin!!



Day 1: When I went to my events I already had up to Virtuo of Voice unlocked as success. I collected those rewards and got the 'Blockbuster the Voice of China' newspaper. I then clicked events again and did the 'talk' option up to Audition for the Voice of China. At the end of talking you should have two events on the right hand side with 120 days left to complete (You Exist in my Song and Assistant)

1)Train singing, wisdom, charm and sport to 400 (only through learning not jobs)
2)Complete You Exist in my Song event
3)Complete Assistant event
4)Purchase all shop items up to the +400 wisdown blouse.

This is what my home screen looked like at this point you'll see that nearly a year went by.

Okay important - from here after winning the Singer of China event you'll be able to do world tours. The first is 'Tour of Beijing'. DO NOT start do these events. You need to focus on acting now.

After this again you'll get quite a few cut scenes - enjoy! You'll also get a number of new events which you can automatically complete.

Depending on how your training went you may or may not be able to complete the world tour - this shouldn't have an impact on the Super Star Achievement but if you're looking to collect all the cards and props you'll need to plan a little more carefully than I did here.

Thank you a lot @Big Hat Paul! I was missing level 5 supermodel achievement so I did the ad with the luxury bag but I still didn't get the superstar achievement (only the supermodel level 5 one). It's by doing the ad with the laptop that I got the last achievement! :D

Really really good work. Thanks. But seeing I need so many tries for all achievements and reading so many bugged achievements issue, I dropped the idea of playing. Might as well finish 3 other Visual Novels.

I got the achievement to pop. I followed the guide to a T, but the only time it popped was when I did the laptop ad along with the others. It popped shortly after that. I also changed outfits. Not sure if that helps or not. This achievement seems very buggy.

I have everything in the 10k range and still haven't gotten super star lvl 5.
