Hello, and welcome to the first installment in the Unturned Weapon Overview series. Today, we are taking a look at the ranger fed Zubeknakov. The Zubeknakov is the equalivent to the real life AK-47, a soviet made assault rifle that first saw action in the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. In-game, this rifle will feature two fireing modes, semi-automatic, and full automatic. In full auto, this russian rifle can manage to spit out an impressive 614 rounds per minute, or 750 with the adaptive chambering attachment. Quickly allowing it to become one of the fastest fireing assault rifles in the game. When it comes to damage, the Zubeknakov doesn't hold back. When hitting the chest, you can expect a base damage of 37 per hit. If you manage to hit the head, you will see that damage count rise drasticly, going up to 40.7 per hit without a helmate. Unfortantly, this is where our beloved weapon will start taking its beating. The accuracy of the base Zubeknakov is extremely poor, being lucky to hit the same spot twice. With that, recoil tends to kick up and right, with a force that even an expert will find difficult to control. If you switch to third person, the rifle does become slightly more bareable, however its poor accuracy still shows. So what attachments should we be looking for? The very first thing you need to find is a ranger drum. This will allow you to shoot much longer and avoid running out of ammo mid-battle. You will learn very quickly that this rifle is NOT meant for medium to long range engagements. Therefor, I suggest a red dot sight for the sights slot. This will allow a clear view of your target while showing roughly where your bullets are really going to land. If you can not manage to come across a low powered sight, just avoid a scope and use the iron sights that are mounted on the gun already. The rest of your attachment slots should be occupied with items to improve accuracy and reduce recoil. Under those lines, you're going to want a horizontal grip, which should stop the kick of up and right from being so overwhelming. Pair that by occupying your tactical slot with a tactical laser, and you suddenly get an assault rifle that will dominate in urban and close-quarters. On the off chance you find one, assure you pick up a ranger barrel. This will allow for improved medium range combat, improveing the chances that you survive the encounter. If you can't find a ranger barrel, a muzzle break is also a wise investment.

Occupying a total of 8 slots, this rifle is an amazing choice for close-range combat. In the right hands, or wrong if your on the recieveing end, the Zubeknakov can spray down anything in its wide path. However, under bad conditions, this rifle will serve as nothing more than an insult to your opponent.

Zubeknakov is really an AKM.
