High Wall of Lothric Quests
------------------------------
- Free Greirat below the Tower on the Wall bonfire with the Cell Key, which is found at the bottom of the building that is past the same bonfire. Talk to him and agreed to give the Blue Tearstone Ring to Loretta. He will then return to Firelink Shrine.

- Andre Progress: Grab Estus Shard on an altar in the room where you get the Cell Key.

- After lighting the Tower on the Wall bonfire, return to Firelink Shrine and talk to Leonhard, who will give you 5 Cracked Red-Eye Orbs. He’ll be next to Prince Lothric’s throne, if he isn’t at this point, try killing Vordt and check again.

- Talk to Emma, who is found the opposite direction of where Vordt is located, to receive the Way of Blue covenant and the Small Lothric Banner, which allows you to access the Undead Settlement.

Undead Settlement
Undead Settlement Quests
------------------------------
- Find Yoel below the Foot of the High Wall bonfire amongst several other Pilgrims. Talk to him and agree to his request and he’ll head to Firelink Shrine.

- Yoel Progress: Head back to Firelink Shrine and talk to Yoel (Receive Beckon Gesture). If you want to pursue the Usurpation of Fire ending, follow next step.

- Yoel Progress: Accept Yoel’s offer to Draw Out True Strength. You’ll gain a free level, but also gain a Dark Sigil, which will start your Hollowing clock. Each time you die from here on out, you’ll gain 1 Hollowing and become more and more Hollow, which also affects your appearance. Yoel will offer 4 more Draw Out True Strengths at Hollowing Level 2, 6, 12, and 20. Each additional Dark Sigil acts as…Double XP for your Hollowing Level, so it shouldn’t take long to all 5 Dark Sigils (Just throw yourself off the cliff of Firelink Shrine over and over). If you do not do this step before reaching the Catacombs of Carthus, Yoel will automatically expire and you’ll lose your chance at the Usurpation of Fire Ending.

- If you get all 5 Dark Sigils and refresh the world, Yoel will be dead and Yuria will be located near his dead body. Talk to her (Receive Dignified Bow Gesture) and buy the Londor Braille Divine Tome. You can give it to Irina when you get her if you want, but note that buying any of the spells it offers will lead to her bad ending. Otherwise, hang onto it until you find Karla later in the game.

- Greirat Progress: To find Loretta’s Bone in Undead Settlement, spawn at the Undead Settlement bonfire and continue into the first house. Walk out onto the balcony and you’ll see a hanging body you can cut down, which contains Loretta’s Bone. Return to Firelink Shrine and give Greirat the item and he’ll state you can keep the Blue Tearstone Ring.

- Andre Progress: Grab Estus Shard by the burning tree with worshipping undead. This is to the left of the Undead Settlement Bonfire, past the house.

- You can find the Warriors of Sunlight covenant in a hidden room in the building after the congregation in front of the tree. There will be a hole in the floor that you can drop into. The room also has an Estus Soup for reference.

- You can find the Mound-Makers covenant by climbing into the cage of the saw wielding enemy with an empty cage on his back, across the bridge and over the house from the Undead Settlement bonfire. You can only do this before the Curse-rotted Greatwood has been slain or else Holy Knight Hodrick will die from the floor breaking during the boss fight. If this does occur, you can acquire the covenant later through Sirris’ side quest.

- Find Cornyx in the Undead Settlement above the Cliff Underside bonfire, which can be gotten by dropping to a ledge below the bridge that is right in front of the building that has 3 firebombs throwing undead on top of it. From the bonfire, get to the top of the building and kill the undead. You’ll find a cage on the balcony that contains Cornyx. Agree to let him go to Firelink Shrine and he’ll teleport there.

- Return to Firelink Shrine and talk with Cornyx (Receive Welcome Gesture and Pyromancy Flame). Also interact with Greirat, who should be taking the news of Loretta’s death not so well (Receive Curl Up Gesture).

- Find Irina and Eygon in front of the tower that can be found a little after the Cliff Underside bonfire, but you’ll be unable to reach Irina until you have the Mortician's Ashes.

- Shrine Handmaid Progress: Grab the Mortician’s Ashes at the graveyard with the falling spears, just ahead of the Dilapidated Bridge bonfire. If the spears are too much for you, grab a White Branch from the tree in the same graveyard and head to the tower to become friends with the Giant.

- Firelink Shrine Bonfire Progress: Grab the Undead Bone Shard to the right of the White tree on a platform you can jump to with a dead body.

- Return to Firelink Shrine and purchase the Grave Key, which opens the locked door in the sewer area with the rats next to the Dilapidated Bridge bonfire in Undead Settlement. Upon talking to Irina, she’ll teleport to Firelink Shrine if you allow her.

- Return to Firelink Shrine and talk to Irina (Receive Prayer Gesture).

- Find Siegward, who is inside the Tower near Irina and Eygon. He’ll be taking the elevator down and question the mechanics of the thing. Get on the elevator and you’ll go to the basement which has an Outrider Knight and the entrance to the Road of Sacrifices. Kill the Outrider Knight and rest at the bonfire nearby. If you die, that works too. Return to the Tower entrance and take the lift up to the actual top of the Tower (If you keep going to the basement, hit the switch on the elevator while at the main entrance and then quickly jump off to reveal the lift that takes you up). Roll-off at the mid-way point to land on a wooden platform. Head outside and speak to Siegward again. Run down and begin fighting the Fire Demon, Siegward will eventually come and help. After killing the Fire Demon, speak to Siegward three times (Receive Siegbrau, Toast Gesture, and Rest Gesture).

- Kill the Curse-rotted Greenwood to get the Transposing Kiln, which you can give to Ludleth of Courtland back at Firelink Shrine to turn boss souls into special weapons and items.

- Leonhard Progress: Leonhard should be at Firelink Shrine by this point once again. If he isn’t, continue on until you get a Pale Tongue and he should appear. He’ll give you a Lift-Chamber Key that you can use on a door below the Tower on the Wall bonfire of High Wall of Lothric. It’ll lead to a Darkwraith that upon death will drop a Red Eye Orb.

- Leonhard Progress: Return to Firelink Shrine and talk to Leonhard (Receive Applause Gesture).

- Hawkwood Progress: Talk to Hawkwood after killing the Curse-rotted Greatwood (Receive Heavy Gem). If he doesn’t give you anything, come back to him after killing the Crystal Sage.

Road of Sacrifices
Road of Sacrifices Quests
-----------------------------
- Greirat Progress: Around this time or before, you can now send Greirat to pillage the Undead Settlement. After you depart Firelink Shrine after agreeing to send him out, he’ll be missing until you kill a boss.

- Irina Progress: You can find the Braille Divine Tome of Carim below the bridge right before the Halfway Fortress bonfire. Give it to her at Firelink Shrine and buy all the spells it offers if you want her to become a Fire Keeper later in the game.

- Talk to Anri and Horace at the Halfway Fortress bonfire. Horace will give you the Blue Sentinels covenant when spoken to. Make sure to deplete Anri’s dialogue before continuing on.

- Cornyx Progress: In the swamp area with the two giant enemy crabs, the Great Swamp Pyromancy Tome will be in an area of the swamp that causes you to fat roll.

- Kill Yellowfinger Heysel, who will invade your world if you are embered around the area where the two giant crabs are.

- Andre Progress: At the Halfway Fortress bonfire in Road of Sacrifices, head out and drop down from the ledges on the right side, keep going straight along the right wall and enter a doorway in the end. Turn left and you will see a Black Knight guarding a few bodies, the body at the end of the hall holds the Farron Coal, which grants you Heavy, Sharp & Poison Infusions.

- Andre Progress: Grab the Estus Shard on the side of the ruins near the Crucifixion Woods bonfire. It will be near a fire that has two Lycanthropes.

- Enter the ruins near the Crucifixion Woods bonfire, head up the stairs, cross the bridge, and you’ll notice an area to the left right after getting off the bridge that’ll lead you to the upper area of the ruins that contains Orbeck of Vinheim. Talk to him and he’ll agree to teach you in sorceries only if you have at least a 10 in Intelligence. If you lack points in Intelligence, you can use the Scholar Ring to boost it to 10. Once he's at Firelink, he will no longer care if your intelligence level is too low. You’ll also make him a promise to give him scrolls to learn more spells, you MUST give him a scroll before defeating the Abyss Watchers or else he will leave.

- Yuria Progress: If you have both Yuria and Orbeck at your Firelink Shrine, you can talk to Yuria to receive a mission to kill Orbeck. If you give Yuria his ashes she will reward you with the Morion Blade. Don't do this if you wish to continue giving him Scrolls to unlock new spells. Orbeck's ashes can be given to Yuria after he dies of natural causes, and she will still reward you with the weapon.

Cathedral of the Deep
Cathedral of the Deep Quests
---------------------------------
- Talk to Sirris at Firelink Shrine to begin her quest line.

- Shrine Handmaid Progress: Near the first bonfire behind a hostile NPC are the Paladin’s Ashes.

- Andre Progress: Grab the Estus Shard right outside the Cleansing Chapel bonfire where enemies are praying.

- Irina/Karla Progress: The Deep Braille Divine Tome can be found on a mimic chest. Remember, giving this to Irina and buying any of the spells it unlocks will lock you into the bad ending of her quest. I recommend saving this for Karla unless you really want some of the spells.

- Firelink Shrine Bonfire Progress: Grab the Undead Bone Shard near a white tree that the Giant throws spears around, on the roof area of the Cathedral after navigating the graveyard and crossing a bridge.

- Continue through the Cathedral of the Deep until you have made it to the fog door before the Deacons of the Deep boss fight. Head to the nearby lift to activate the final shortcut of the level (Opening the large blue double doors that lead out to the Cathedral’s roof).

- If you leave the Cathedral completely (Go to Firelink Shrine and come back) and then head back into the Cathedral through the large blue double doors you just opened, you may notice that a new bridge has been activated and Siegward is standing next to them. Talk to him and then cross the bridge to trigger a cutscene where it is revealed it was really Patches. Depending on if you killed the Giants or not, you’ll either have to fight one or nothing happens.

- Patches Progress: From here, head out to the 2nd shortcut back to the Cleansing Chapel bonfire and use the lift to get to a crossbow undead’s tower. Kill him and move towards the edge of the tower, but don’t drop down. Instead, look to see that you can move towards the left and find a ladder. Ascend the ladder and continue up the roof to eventually reach the rafters of the Cathedral. You’ll now be able to drop down to the other side of the bridge that Patches activated. Patches will be waiting here and pretend to not be responsible for what just happened. Tell him “You know who I am” (Receive Prostration Gesture). You can then buy Siegward’s Armor Set from him.

- Leonhard Progress: Before leaving this area, continue on up the nearby stairs and you’ll eventually find yourself at the Rosaria’s Chamber bonfire. Speak with Rosaria to obtain the Rosaria’s Fingers covenant. Do not do anything further with this covenant if you intend to do Sirris’ quest line. Don’t give Rosaria any Pale Tongues and don’t equip the Rosaria’s Fingers covenant item. We'll continue this side quest closer to the end of the game.

- Patches Progress: If Patches didn’t spawn at the Cathedral, return to Firelink Shrine and purchase the Tower Key if you haven’t already and head into the Tower behind Firelink Shrine now. As you ascend the lift to the top, you’ll hear a door shut behind you. Grab the Fire Keeper’s Soul at the top and then come back down to encounter Patches. He has locked the door and you’ll need to drop down from the bridge onto coffins to escape.

- Andre Progress: Head back to the Tower and get to the bridge that overlooks Firelink Shrine. Drop down onto the roof and move around the roof until you find some windows you can go through. A Estus Shard will be on the rafters.

- While on the roof, you can talk to Snuggly the Crow. Trading him three items will get you the Call Over Gesture.

- Fire Keeper Progress: With the Fire Keeper’s Soul, you can heal Dark Sigils that you have in order to completely get rid of your Hollowing Level. If you are following Yoel/Yuria’s quest line, however, don’t do this until the post-game or you’ll end up angering Yoel/Yuria.

- Patches Progress: Refresh Firelink Shrine and head to the upper right to find Patches now located there. He’ll ask for forgiveness, refuse (Receive Prostration Gesture and Rusted Gold Coin). You can then buy Siegward’s Armor Set from him. Leaving Firelink Shrine and returning will sometimes allow Patches to be in his squatting position. Interact with him (Receive Patches Squat Gesture).

- Siegward Progress: If you can’t buy Siegward’s Armor Set yet, head to the Cleansing Chapel and check the well at the entrance, where Siegward should be stuck in. After speaking to him, return to whatever location Patches is at for you and buy the armor.

- Siegward Progress: Return to the well Siegward is in and drop the armor it to him (Receive Rejoice Gesture).

Farron Keep
Farron Keep Quests
----------------------
- Andre Progress: From the first bonfire of Farron Keep, stay to the left side until you reach a small structure guarded by a Darkwraith. The Sage's Coal is in a body inside this structure, which grants you Crystal, Blessed & Deep Infusions.

- Andre Progress: Grab the Estus Shard as you come into the area from Road of Sacrifices, towards the left. The shard will be visible against a wall.

- Orbeck Progress: Spawn at the Keep Ruins bonfire and go out towards the Wolf Gate and turn left. Follow the wall and you’ll eventually find the Sage’s Scroll.

- Orbeck Progress: From the first bonfire, head out and go towards the right where you’ll start to encounter basilisks. There will be a cave in this area that will contain a chest with the Golden Scroll inside. Make sure to give these scrolls to him before beating the Abyss Watchers or he’ll leave forever.

- Firelink Shrine Bonfire Progress: Grab the Undead Bone Shard on the bottom of the tower to the right of the Wolf Gate with the three flames that you have to light. It is surrounded by a bunch of slugs.

- Anri Progress: Return to Firelink Shrine to find Anri and Horace left of the thrones. You can speak to them for some additional dialogue.

- Climb the giant ladder near the Keep Ruins bonfire to find the Old Wolf of Farron. Interact with him for the Watchdogs of Farron covenant (Receive Legion Etiquette Gesture).

- Shrine Handmaid Progress: In this room, you’ll see a dead body with something on it. Head out to the stairs and slash a wall once you get up them to reveal an illusory wall that leads to the body to get Dreamchaser’s Ashes.

- Sirris Progress: Return to Firelink Shrine and after giving the Dreamchaser’s Ashes to the Shrine Handmaid, refresh the world with a bonfire. Sirris will once again be there. Talk to her. (Receive Darkmoon Loyalty Gesture).

- Yellowfinger Heysel Progess: You can summon her in Farron Keep right after the Keep Ruins bonfire for the Abyss Watchers fight if you killed her in Road of Sacrifices, but you’ll need to have given a Pale Tongue to Rosaria, which will block you out of Sirris’ quest line, so I recommend saving this part for another playthrough. You’ll gain the Proper Bow Gesture after her summon.

- Black Hand Gotthard can be summoned for the Abyss Watchers fight and will grant you the By My Sword Gesture upon summon.

- Yuria Progress: If you are doing the Yoel/Yuria side quest, you’ll also be able to summon the Londor Pale Shade for the Abyss Watchers fight and gain the Duel Bow Gesture.

Catacombs of Carthus
Catacombs of Carthus Quests
----------------------------------
- Hawkwood Progress: Return to Firelink Shrine and talk with Hawkwood (Receive Farron Ring). If Hawkwood isn’t in the Shrine, head outside to the grave that normally has an undead dog on it and he may be there.

- Hawkwood Progress: Refresh the world and head out to the grave once again and Hawkwood’s Shield will be resting on the grave. If this doesn’t happen, try again later.

- Cornyx Progress: About halfway across the first bridge of Catacombs of Carthus, you’ll notice a platform you can drop down to on the left side. Do so and you’ll find the Carthus Pyromancy Tome in that area.

- Anri Progress: Before heading down the giant staircase that a skeleton ball will eventually begin to roll up and down, there will be a hallway to the left you can take. Head down this way and you’ll eventually run into Anri, who claims she is looking for Horace. Exhaust her dialogue.

- Firelink Shrine Bonfire Progress: Once arriving at the bottom of the giant staircase, you’ll notice a skeleton with a hat on its head. Kill it and the next time the skeleton ball hits the bottom gate, it’ll explode and reveal a Undead Bone Shard.

- Shrine Handmaid Progress: After finding the Catacombs of Carthus bonfire, head down the stairs that the 2nd skeleton ball is going up and down and then head up some other stairs across the way. Once you’re at the top of this new area, head to the left and you’ll find the Grave Warden’s Ashes.

- Anri Progress: Once you make it to the wooden bridge, you’ll see Anri above and to the right of it. She’ll once again ask if you have found Horace. You haven’t yet, but we’re about to. Head to the other side of the bridge and slash at it to cut it down and you can then use it as a ladder to descend into the Smouldering Lake.

- Karla Progress: Yes, you don’t have Karla yet, but after beating Wolnir, you’ll obtain the Grave Warden Pyromancy Tome. Cornyx can’t read this Pyromancy Tome, so you’ll have to wait until you find Karla to turn it in.

Catacombs of Carthus Map
----------------------------------
Smouldering Lake
Smouldering Lake Quests
-----------------------------
- Firelink Shrine Bonfire Progress: When heading towards the Old Demon King fog door, a Carthus Sandworm will appear out of the ground. It may be a difficult fight with the ballista also active or you can use the ballista to your advantage to deal extra damage to the worm. Either way, upon killing it you’ll gain a Undead Bone Shard.

- Cornyx Progress: While fighting the Old Demon King, you can summon the NPC phantom Great Swamp Cuculus. Defeat the Old Demon King with this NPC surviving and go back to the cage in Undead Settlement you found Cornyx in (Receive Cornyx’s Armor Set and Spotted Whip).

- Head into the area where the Demon Ruins bonfire is as this will be where the bulk of the main items for this area are.

- Firelink Shrine Bonfire Progress: The first enemies you encounter in the Demon Ruins are some Demon Clerics. You’ll be on a top floor and see stairs nearby. Head down them and then move towards the left where there will be more Demon Clerics. Behind this group is another Undead Bone Shard.

- Andre Progress: Once you locate the Old King’s Antechamber bonfire in this area, there will be an illusory wall in the same room. Activate it and then move down the hallway that has loads of Writhing Rotten Flesh enemies on the ceiling and grab the Estus Shard on a body at the end.

- Cornyx Progress: In a room following the Old King’s Antechamber, you’ll find the Izalith Pyromancy Tome on the ground.

- Karla Progress: Once again, you don’t have Karla yet, but you can find the last Pyromancy Tome that she can read. From the Old King’s Antechamber bonfire, hit the illusory wall in the room and head back out to the large room with the Demon Clerics. There is a corridor out of this room where you’ll see the tome, but there will be a large hole that leads to a giant rat. Head down the hole, kill the rat, head straight, take a left, take another left, and in this room, there will be another illusory wall that leads to the Quelana Pyromancy Tome.

- Further, into the Demon Ruins, you’ll come to a point where there are several basilisks and you’ll see some stairs. Instead of going up the stairs, take a left when you get to them and you’ll encounter Knight Slayer Tsorig. Defeating him will gain you the My Thanks! Gesture.

- Anri Progress: After shutting off the ballista, you’ll notice some cliffs that you can drop onto that will eventually lead you back to the lake. You’ll also land right in front of a cave you haven’t explored (You can also get here just by running to the right from the Abandoned Tomb bonfire). Head inside and you’ll find Horace, who has succumbed to his Dark Sigils and become hostile. Kill him and he’ll drop the Llewellyn Shield. The Shrine Handmaid will also now sell Horace’s Executioner’s Armor Set.

- Anri Progress: Get back to the wooden bridge that allowed you to access the Smouldering Lake and speak if Anri to the upper right of it. Tell her about the Smouldering Lake and she’ll give you the Ring of the Evil Eye. If she isn’t here for you, you’ll have to wait until the next area to find her.

Irithyll of the Boreal Valley
Irithyll of the Boreal Valley Quests
-------------------------------------
- Sirris Progress: When first arriving in Irthyll, you’ll battle one of Sulyvahn’s Beasts and then move through a force field to the Central Irithyll bonfire. Refresh the world and return to the middle of the bridge and Sirris’ summon sign should be there if you’ve been following her quest. Activate it and you’ll enter her world and have to fight Creighton the Wanderer. Return to Firelink Shrine and find her, she’ll thank you and give you a Blessed Mail Breaker and Silvercat Ring for the troubles.

- Anri Progress: This is the major dividing point in Anri’s story. From here on out, if you want to follow her quest line to its conclusion, follow Anri A. If you want the Usurpation of Fire ending, follow Anri B.

- Anri A Progress: You’ll eventually come to the Church of Yorshka bonfire and Anri will be in the same room. Exhaust her dialogue (Receive Quiet Resolve Gesture) and then look towards the side of the room that has some stone statues. One of these is actually a pilgrim sent by Yuria using the Chameleon spell. Slash away at the statues until you find him and make sure he’s dead. He’ll drop the Chameleon Spell for you as well.

- Anri B Progress: Exhaust Anri’s dialogue (Receive Quiet Resolve Gesture) and do nothing in regards to the pilgrim.

- Firelink Shrine Bonfire Progress: Starting at the Church of Yorshka bonfire, go down the hallway stairs, and go right along the cliff. The Undead Bone Shard is located behind the large tombstone at the end of this path. If you helped Sirris, Creighton will invade you here if you’re embered. Killing him will gain you the Dragonslayer’s Axe and allow you to return to the bridge where you used Sirris’ summon sign to grab Creighton’s Armor Set.

- Shrine Handmaid Progress: While walking around the sewer area, you’ll find a basement that contains several Sewer Centipedes. In the corner opposite some stairs are the Excrement-covered Ashes.

- Siegward Progress: Head up these stairs and you’ll find Siegward hanging out by the fire. Exhaust his dialogue and you’ll receive the Emit Force Miracle and any gestures you missed from his first encounter.

- Greirat Progress: Return to Firelink Shrine and talk to Greirat. He’ll ask to pillage Irithyll. Only do this after confirming Siegward is in Irthyll OR if you have Patches. If you have neither, Greirat will perish and his ashes can be found in the sewer area.

- Greirat Progress: If you plan to use Siegward to save Greirat you must have progressed Siegwards questline past the Cathedral of the Deep. Do not enter Irithyll Dungeon, if you do this Siegward will leave the area and he can't save Greirat. You can trigger the first bonfire (Distant Manor), but any further and Greirat will die

- Patches Progress: If you haven’t been following Siegward’s quest and need to save Greirat, refresh Firelink Shrine after sending Greirat out and Patches will ask you where he went. Tell him and Patches will head out to protect Greirat. Patches will only ask where Greirat is if he still has Siegwards Armor Set in his inventory.

- Black Hand Gotthard Progress: If you missed him at the Abyss Watchers fight, he can be summoned for the Pontiff Sulyvahn fight and you’ll receive the By My Sword Gesture upon his summon.

- Yuria Progress: If you didn’t summon the Londor Pale Shade during the Abyss Watchers fight, you get another chance here. Remember, you must be following the Yoel/Yuria quest line to have the ability to summon her. You'll receive the Duel Bow Gesture.

- Yuria/Anri B Progress: Head back to Firelink Shrine after defeating Pontiff and talk to Yuria and she’ll discuss that the “marriage ceremony” is almost complete.

- Once you enter the building after the Giant courtyard, there will be an illusory wall on the left side that reveals a long ladder down. Head down and defeat two of Sulyvahn’s Beasts and interact with Archdeacon McDonnell to gain the Aldrich Faithful covenant.

- Shrine Handmaid Progress: As you make your way up the building with the Silver Knight archers, you can drop down to a roof below and find the Easterner’s Ashes.

- Anri B Progress: Before activating the lift to Anor Londo, there is an illusory wall in the room before the lever. Activate it and you’ll find the pilgrim waiting for you. He’ll give you the Sword of Avowal and tell you Anri is waiting ahead. Head down to the altar to find Anri’s body. Interact with it to begin the ceremony and you’ll gain Anri’s Straight Sword and her 3 Dark Sigils, granting you the total amount of 8 Dark Sigils you need for the Usurpation of Fire ending.

Anor Londo
Anor Londo Quests
---------------------
- After using the lift to get to Anor Londo, run back down the stairs and you’ll be able to see a tower in the distance. Walk across the sky to reveal an invisible floor and continue walking straight until lined up with the tower, then walk towards it. You’ll find Yorshka who will allow you into the Blades of the Darkmoon covenant. If she doesn’t allow you, perform the Darkmoon Loyalty gesture in front of her to prove you are worthy.

- Andre Progress: Once looking at the Anor Londo main door, head left and you’ll find a dead Giant with the Giant’s Coal by his body, which will grant you Lightning, Simple & Chaos Infusions.

- Andre Progress: Once inside the main castle, there will be an area on the ground floor with several Writhing Rotten Flesh enemies. Next to them will be a chest with a Estus Shard within it.

- Anri A Progress: Open the main doors using the lever and fight the Deep Accursed enemy. You’ll then find Anri’s summon sign right next to the doors and be summoned to her world to fight her version of Aldrich.

- Anri A Progress: After defeating him, return to Firelink Shrine and talk to Ludleth and he’ll give you Anri’s Straight Sword, stating that she left it for you now that her mission was complete.

- Anri A Progress: If you told Anri of the Smouldering Lake, that is where she will be, in the same area where you fought Horace. She has also succumbed to the Dark Sigils and become hostile, so do her a favor and put her out of her misery. If you didn’t tell her of the Smouldering Lake, she will instead be near the entrance of the Cathedral of the Deep. Defeating her allows you to purchase her Elite Knight Armor Set from the Shrine Handmaid.

- Sirris Progress: After defeating Aldrich, travel to Undead Settlement via either the Cliff Underside or Dilapidated Bridge bonfire and make your way back to the room before the Curse-rotten Greatwood fight. You will find Sirris’ summon sign right before the giant hole that leads to the Pit of Hollows. You’ll be summoned to fight Holy Knight Hodrick, who turns out to be Sirris’ grandfather. Defeating him grants you the Sunset Armor Set. You can then also find the Sunset Shield on his grave, which is located on the path to Firelink Shrine under the tree on the right.

- Sirris Progress: Refresh Firelink Shrine and Sirris will appear here and ask to be your knight. Agree and she’ll be able to be summoned for the final three main boss fights of the game. Refuse and you’ll find her Hollow in the Pit of Hollows and have to kill her.

Irithyll Dungeon Quests

- Andre Progress: A decent amount into the Irithyll Dungeon, you’ll eventually get outside the dungeon area for a brief period and then head back into it with a room that as a Mimic chest. Kill the mimic and it’ll drop a Estus Shard.

- Siegward Progress: In the room with the Giant, kill him and then near where he was, you can talk to Siegward, who is trapped in a cell. The key to free him is the Old Cell Key, which is in the exact room you’re currently in next to a Crystal Lizard. You’ll learn how to actually get to Siegward later.

- Andre Progress: A little past the previous room and a sewer, you'll come to an area with several Jailers. After coming out of the cell that contained two giant rats, head directly straight and you'll come to another cell that contains four Wretches and the Profaned Coal, which grants Dark, Blood & Hollow Infusions.

- Shrine Handmaid Progress: On the same side of the room will be another cell that contains the Xanthous Ashes.

- Karla Progress: This room contains a cell that finally shows you Karla, but it’s locked. You’ll find the key in the next area and have to return here.

- Before heading into the next area, there will be another passage that leads you to a lift that takes you back to an earlier area of the Irithyll Dungeon. Near the lift is a dragon statue that has the Dragon Torso Stone. Remember where this area is for later.

Profaned Capital
Profaned Capital Quests
---------------------------
- Firelink Shrine Bonfire Progress: The first bonfire you find will have poor Laddersmith Gilligan’s dead corpse near it. You’ll receive the Stretch Out Gesture and a Undead Bone Shard from examining it.

- Don’t head down the giant ladder in this area after activating the bonfire just yet. Instead, go back down the smaller ladder you just came up and drop down to another area using a hole in the wall. Follow this path and you’ll find yourself in a toxic swamp with more Sewer Centipedes. This is where the bulk of the items of the Profaned Capital are.

- Orbeck Progress: Climb to the top of the building in this area and kill an NPC to receive Logan’s Scroll.

- Karla Progress: There will be a stairway on this rooftop that you can head into that will eventually lead you back to the area where the Giant, but to a location, you couldn’t previously access. You’ll find the Jailer’s Key Ring here, which is what is needed to free Karla.

- Siegward Progress: Head back out to the rooftop of the building where you fought the NPC and you should notice another building with windows near the stairs. You can run from the roof and jump through one of the windows, so do so. This leads to the cell that Siegward is stuck in. Open it and exhaust his dialogue, he’ll give you a Titanite Slab for saving him.

- Karla Progress: Return to where Karla’s cell was and you can now free her and send her to Firelink Shrine. Give her the two Pyromancy Tomes and with some effort, you can also give her the Londor Braille Divine Tome and Deep Braille Divine Tome to prevent corrupting Irina.

- Shrine Handmaid Progress: With your new Jailer’s Key Ring, you can also open a cell that was in the first area of Irithyll Dungeon that contains the Prison Chief’s Ashes.

- Siegward Progress: Head into the Yhorm fight and the intro cutscene will show Siegward has come with you to help put his old friend to rest. Upon defeating him, you’ll probably be teleported to the High Wall of Lothric, so come back to the Yhorm boss room later to find Siegward’s Catarina Armor Set, the Pierce Shield, and another Storm Ruler.

- After defeating Oceiros, continue on down and you’ll find the Path of the Dragon Gesture on a body.

- Continue further and you’ll find a chest. The wall behind the chest is an illusory wall, so activate it and you’ll arrive at the Untended Graves.

- Fire Keeper Progress: At the very end of the Untended Graves when you reach the alternate version of Firelink Shrine, activate the illusory wall to where Irina normally is and you’ll find the Eyes of a Fire Keeper. These can be given to the Fire Keeper to trigger the End of Fire ending.

- Shrine Handmaid Progress: There is another Shrine Handmaid here that sells the Wolf Knight Armor Set, the Priestess Ring, and other merchandise. Unlike the regular Handmaid, if you kill this one she will not respawn, so be careful.

Archdragon Peak Quests

- Remember that area in the Irithyll Dungeon I said to remember? You know, with the dragon statue? Go there now. Use the Path of the Dragon gesture right next to the dragon statue and wait a bit and you’ll be teleported to Archdragon Peak.

- Hawkwood Progress: Beat the Ancient Wyvern boss and you’ll receive the Dragon Head Stone.

- Hawkwood Progress: You can summon Hawkwood a little outside the Great Belfry bonfire and he’ll assist you to get to the top of the stairway with loads of enemies in the path. Use the Path of the Dragon gesture at the altar at the very top of the stairway (Hawkwood will show you where) and you’ll get the Twinkling Dragon Torso Stone.

- Shrine Handmaid Progress: On the way to get the Twinkling Dragon Torso Stone, you can find the Dragon Chaser’s Ashes off to the side.

- Hawkwood Progress: Head back to Firelink Shrine and talk to Andre. He’ll give you a message from Hawkwood asking you to come to the Abyss Watchers bonfire to settle things. Head there and battle Hawkwood. If you win, you gain the Twinkling Dragon Head Stone. If you lose, Hawkwood takes your Twinkling Dragon Torso Stone. You can battle him as many times as you like until you beat him.

Lothric Castle
Lothric Castle Quests
------------------------
- Greirat Progress: From this point on, if Greirat offers to pillage Lothric Castle, refuse. No matter what happens, he will die on this trip. Even if you tell Patches of his whereabouts after he departs, Patches can’t even save him.

- Firelink Shrine Bonfire Progress: Starting at the Dragon Barracks bonfire, go up the stairs and to the bride where the two dragons are. Run almost all the way across the bridge and drop off at the end. A Undead Bone Shard is underneath the bridge.

- Looking at the fog door for the Dragonslayer Armour, turn around and use the ladder on the building to climb up it. Head over the roofs to the windows of an opposite building. Climb down the ladder in this room and move through the bridge to reach an altar. Pray to it to receive the Praise the Sun Gesture.

- Eygon Progress: If to this point, you have not purchased any Dark Miracles from Irina or not even given her the Londor and Deep Tomes, Eygon can be summoned for the Dragonslayer Armour fight. After the fight If you have exhausted all his dialogue you can find his dead body containing Morne's Great Hammer and Moaning Shield in Irina’s original cell in the Undead Settlement. You can then purchase Morne’s Armor Set from the Shrine Handmaid.

- Irina Progress: After defeating Dragonslayer Armour and activating the bonfire, turn around and you’ll find the Braille Divine Tome of Lothric down some stairs.

- Irina Progress: There are two ends to Irina’s side quest depending on if you follow what I’ve told you to do or not. Irina A is the good end, Irina B is the bad end.

- Irina A Progress: By giving her just the Braille Divine Tome of Carim and Braille Divine Tome of Lothric, or by giving her all 4 Tomes, but not buying any Dark Miracles, you can make Irina a Fire Keeper. Just buy all her standard spells, plus Med Heal, Tears of Denial, Force, Bountiful Light, Blessed Weapon, and Magic Barrier. She’ll move to the bottom of the tower to the left of Firelink Shrine after you refresh the world and now act as a Fire Keeper. If you did give her the Londor and Deep Tome instead of Karla, they will be on the ground beside her and you can now give them to Karla.

- Irina B Progress: If you gave Irina the Londor Braille Divine Tome and Deep Braille Divine Tome and bought ANY of these spells (Deep Protection, Gnaw, Dark Blade, Vow of Silence, or Dead Again), she will have disappeared for you sometime in the game from her normal location in Firelink Shrine. She would then be outside near the Index Gundyr fight area with Eygon. Eygon will believe you have killed her and is hostile. Upon killing him, you see that Irina is still actually alive, but the corruption has begun for her. This is an alternate way of Morne’s Armor Set being available for purchase. After Irina returns to Firelink Shrine, buying all the Dark Miracles listed above will fully corrupt her and she’ll no longer act as a vendor to you. Equipping the Morne’s Gauntlets when you touch her makes her believe you're Eygon and she’ll ask to be killed. Do so and you can give her ashes to the Shrine Handmaid to sell her miracles.

Grand Archives
Grand Archives Quests
-------------------------
- Orbeck Progress: Once inside the Grand Archives, you’ll notice a Crystal Sage. Killing her will give you the Crystal Scroll.

- Orbeck Progress: Orbeck grants you different rewards based on certain criteria. The Young Dragon Ring is given to you after buying three of his spells and giving him at least one scroll. The Slumbering Dragon Ring is given to you after buying Aural Decoy, Farron Flashsword, Spook, and Pestilent Mercury. He’ll also give you the Silent Ally Gesture through this. Giving him all 4 scrolls and buying every spell he offers will cause him to tell you he is departing. You’ll now be able to summon him for the Twin Princes fight.

- Firelink Shrine Bonfire Progress: In the area of the rooftops where you fight some Gargoyles, there will be a broken window that you have to enter. The Undead Bone Shard will be on this balcony on a dead body in a chair.

- Andre Progress: On the very top of the Grand Archives while looking at the stairs to the Twin Princes fight, turn around and go up another roof where the three Gertrude’s Knights are. You’ll find a Estus Shard on the very back of this roof.

- Orbeck Progress: After beating the Twin Princes, you can find his dead body in the Grand Archives if he departed from your Firelink Shrine after you bought all his spells. His body will be on the second floor after the elevator shortcut. You can give his ashes to the Shrine Handmaid for her to sell his spells. You can now Orbeck's Ashes to Yuria for the Morion Blade.

- Sirris Progress: Return to her grandfather’s grave after the Twin Princes fight and you’ll find her body with the Sunless Talisman on it. You can also now buy Sirris’ Sunless Armor Set from the Shrine Handmaid.

- Leonhard Progress: With Sirris’ side quest complete, you are now free to finally continue Leonhard’s. Head to the Rosaria’s Bed Chamber bonfire and either give her a Pale Tongue or equip the Rosaria’s Fingers covenant item. Refresh the world and Leonhard will now be in this room. Exhaust his dialogue. Refresh the world again and Rosaria will now be dead with a Black Eye Orb on her body.

- Leonhard Progress: Head to the Aldrich bonfire in Anor Londo and take either of the lifts in the room up. The Black Eye Orb will react to this room. Use it and you’ll invade Leonhard’s world. Kill him for Rosaria’s Soul, Crescent Moon Sword, and the Silver Mask. You can also now buy Leonhard’s Armor Set from the Shrine Handmaid. You can either return Rosaria’s Soul to her body or give it to Ludleth for the Bountiful Sunlight Miracle. Considering you can still interact with her body even if she’s dead, I’d give it to Ludleth.

- Put all the Lord of Cinders back on their thrones if you haven’t already and then interact with the Firelink Shrine Bonfire to be teleported to the Kiln of the First Flame.

Kiln of the First Flame Quests
---------------------------------
Yuria Progress: You can summon Yuria for the Soul of Cinder fight. After the fight, go to Firelink Shrine and where Yuria normally is will now be her Black Armor Set and Darkdrift.

Ending Guide: Depending on what you’ve done at this point, you will have certain options for the endings you can select.

Ending 1: Simply interact with the First Flame results in the 'To Link the First Flame' ending. This is the standard ending.

Ending 2: If you obtained the Eyes of a Fire Keeper from the Untended Graves area and gave them to the Fire Keeper you can use a summon sign next to the bonfire to trigger the 'The End of Fire' ending.

Ending 3: If you follow the steps to Ending #2, during the final scene you have a short window where you regain control of your character. You can attack the Fire Keeper after the cutscene for a different version of the ‘The End of Fire’ ending. You can't get any achievement for this alternate ending.

Ending 4: If you followed the Yoel/Yuria quest line to this point and “married” Anri, you can usurp the flame by wrestling the flame from its mantle triggering the 'Usurpation of Fire' ending. To progress this option, you must have 8 total Dark Sigils. The 5 from Yoel’s Draw Out True Strengths and the 3 from “marrying” Anri. Simply interact with the First Flame at this point and it’ll activate.

- Sir Vilhelm Progress: Talk to Sir Vilhelm and exhaust his dialogue before entering the Chapel.

Beating them will give you Valorheart and the Champion's Bones which can be burned at the Firelink Shrine Bonfire to access the multiplayer arena.

Painted World of Ariandel Maps
------------------------
Note: For some reason, the FextraLife wiki did not have a map for multiple areas in this level such as The Crypt of Bugs and The Depths of the Painting. One of the levels is optional and the other is required to access the final boss fight. I highly recommend you search up a walkthrough for the later parts of the DLC.

New Game Plus
New Game Plus is a feature of Dark Souls 3, wherein once the Final Boss is defeated, players have the option of replaying the game with their current stats and gear. After the credits, players are presented with an option to head straight into the next playthrough; if they opt not to, they can start the next playthrough later, from the Firelink Shrine bonfire. The consecutive playthroughs bring new challenges as enemies have increased health and damage, and there are new Souls and Rings hidden for players to find in order to continue developing their character.

Changes with Game Plus
------------------------------
- Enemies have more hit points and deal increased damage.

- Access to upgraded Rings: +1 for NG+ and +2/+3 for NG++ (base rings also still obtainable).

- Soul pickups are changed to higher level versions which give more souls when consumed or sold.

- From NG+3, the only known changes are enemy health and damage. There is an unlimited number of NG+, but enemies stop getting stronger after a certain number (believed to be from NG+7).

What carries over to New Game Plus
------------------------------
- Covenant rank status.

- All your current stats, weapons, armor, and consumables (including the Coiled Sword Fragment).

- Estus and Bonfire Upgrades.

- Hollow level.

- Friendship with Giant of the Undead Settlement (if you kept the unique Young White Branch he gave you).

- Undead Match

What doesn't carry over to New Game Plus
------------------------------
- All Key Items. This includes Dark Sigils, Tomes, and Ashes (and their respective vendor ware unlocks). With the exception of Champion's Bones.

- All Coals reset.

- Unlocked shortcuts.

- Discovered Bonfires.

- All NPC states (i.e. NPC quest progression resets, dead NPCs come back to life, NPC invaders will invade again, etc.).

- Sky changes (no more black sun and red clouds).

- Pickle Pee, Pump-a-Rum trade state - all trades are reset except for the head carvings, of which you can only have one of each.

To-do Checklist before New Game Plus
------------------------------
- Obtain all Titanite Slabs - there are only fourteen (eight in the base game, three in the Ashes of Ariandel DLC, and three in The Ringed City DLC) available per playthrough so it is highly recommended to get as many as possible per run.

- Trade everything you want to trade with Pickle Pee, Pump-a-Rum.

- Kill off all Crystal Lizards and Ravenous Crystal Lizards.

- Collect all Estus Shards and Undead Bone Shards.

- Collect all available Rings (note - all lower versions of rings are still available in all subsequent playthroughs, so don't worry if you missed any).

- Defeat all Bosses and Mini-Bosses.

- Buy any Ore and Gems that you need from upgraded vendors. It's recommended to stock up on Titanite Chunks, Twinkling Titanite, and Titanite Scales, as these will not be available until late into your next playthrough.

- Infuse your weapons and Upgrade them as much as required.

- Kill off NPCs to obtain their equipment and souls. Note that the Shrine Handmaid, Blacksmith Andre, and the Fire Keeper can be killed, but they will respawn without dropping any souls or items. There are no benefits to killing them, only drawbacks - killing the Handmaid will only increase the price of her wares by 20%, and Andre will refuse to help you anymore. The Fire Keeper doesn't change.

- Grind your Covenant Items, for Achievements/Trophies, in either your first journey (since it is easier to defeat the enemies) or during New Game +2 (to have the best Item Discovery possible). The Rosaria's Fingers covenant should be accessed with caution, because any offerings to Rosaria will stop Sirris' questline and, by extension, lock off access to the Mound-Maker covenant if you missed the first way. Here are the required items for getting all covenant rewards:
  • 30 Sunlight Medals for Warrior of Sunlight.
  • 30 Proof of a Concord Kepts for Blade of the Darkmoon.
  • 30 Vertebrae Shackles for Mound-Maker.
  • 30 Human Dregs for Aldritch Faithful.
  • 30 Wolf's Blood Swordgrasses for Watchdogs of Farron.
  • 30 Pale Tongues for Rosaria's Fingers.
  • 30 Filanore's Spear Ornament for Spears of the Church (DLC Ringed City)
Game Progress Route
This Dark Souls 3 Game Progress Route features the recommended progression to avoid missing NPCs, areas or items.

Pickle Pee, Pump-a-Rum
Pickle Pee, Pump-a-Rum Location
------------------------------
You can find Pickle Pee, Pump-a-Rum on the roof of the Firelink Shrine after you have obtained the Tower Key from the Shrine Handmaid.

Pickle Pee, Pump-a-Rum Trading
------------------------------
In order to trade with it/them, drop an item (by selecting 'leave' in the item menu) on either the roof nest or the nest in the shrine rafters, and pick up the item she gives you in return. Do not leave the area or exit the game or the item she dropped will be lost. If she doesn't want the item you offered, she will say no and will return your item.

You may only trade one of each item per New Game cycle.

Note: You also learn the Call Over Gesture the first time you trade an item that gives a "Pickle pee" response from the crow. (Eleonora, Mendicant's staff, and Avelyn still needs verification)

Location: From the Undead Settlement Bonfire, head left, through the corpse-house towards the burning tree with undead worshipping around it. From here, head straight ahead until you reach another bunch of houses, at the end of the stairs going down. Keep going straight through the stone archway, and into the door of the first house ahead. The room has many hanging corpses. The talisman can be found by falling through the gap in the floor.

Effects: The player's white summon signature will now be golden and the player will shine with gross incandescence when in another player's world. Upon achieving one's purpose when summoned, (defeating a boss, or completing an area) the player (as well as the host) will receive (in addition to default gifts) a Sunlight Medal, which can be bestowed to the covenant altar to achieve higher ranking in the Warriors of Sunlight covenant.

Altar: To rank up the player must turn in their Sunlight Medals at the Sunlight Altar, which can be found right before the Dragonslayer Armour boss fight in Lothric Castle. Facing the fog gate of Dragonslayer Armour turn left. At the end of the walkway, turn left again. There will be a ladder, climb it, cross over the rooftop and descend into the building. The altar will be right before the door that leads outside.

Warmth (Pyromancy)

Location: Start at the Undead Settlement bonfire and continue through the house until reaching the camp with an Evangelist near a burning pile, from here take a right and cross the wooden bridge. At the other side of the bridge there's a bunch of crates and barrels, break those and walk behind the stables instead of entering. Climb up the ladder of the small house, then drop off the roof on the right side. You'll see a large guy with a cage on his back, approach his cage and use the action button to examine it. A cutscene will play and you'll be taken to the area where Holy Knight Hodrick recruits you.

Note: You must join this covenant before you kill the Curse-Rotted Greatwood or else Holy Knight Hodrick will die during the fight and you will have to join through an alternative method much later in the game.

Effects: How you enter a host's world dictates how you can interact with the world. You can either be summoned via a White Sign Soapstone or invade using a Red Eye Orb. When using the summon sign you are placed in the friendly phantom slots for the host. You can kill any phantom and the host. You also can attack and kill the enemies in the host's world. If you invade as a mad phantom you can only hurt other phantoms and the host. Killing the host will send you home with your reward of a Vertebra Shackle.

Altar: Players can increase their rank in the covenant by offering acquired Vertebra Shackle Items at the altar in the Pit of Hollows where you face Curse-Rotted Greatwood in the Undead Settlement.

Location: From the Keep Ruins bonfire in Farron Keep, head down the ramp that leads to the giant doors. You should notice a large tower nearby. There is a ladder that leads to the top of the tower, it's covered in slugs at the bottom. Once you reach the top of the tower you can light the bonfire and pray to the Old Wolf of Farron to join the covenant.

Effects: While the item is equipped, you can be summoned as a loyal spirit to defeat intruders. It is possible to be summoned even if you're out of the Farron Territory (as long as the symbol of the covenant is flashing-white you can be summoned). Once you have successfully killed the intruder you will be rewarded with a Wolf's Blood Swordgrass.

Altar: Ranks are obtained by giving the Old Wolf of Farron the Wolf's Blood Swordgrass that you've collected.

Man-Grub's Staff

Location: To join this covenant you must reach the rafter section of the Cathedral of the Deep. Once you are in the rafters you should see two knights towards your left. If you head to where the first knight is on your left and look down you will see an area where you can drop down. Follow this pathway and kill the final mage worm when you get to him, this will give you a Red Sign Soapstone. To your right, you will see a large room. Go down into this room and talk to Rosaria, Mother of Rebirth. She will ask if you want to join the covenant.

Note: If you give Rosaria any pale tongues or equip the Rosaria's Fingers item you will fail Sirris of the Sunless Realm's questline which is needed to join the Blades of the Darkmoon, I recommend that you wait until you have completed Sirris' questline before you join Rosaria's Fingers.

Effects: Rosaria's Fingers is a covenant that allows you to be "reborn". Rebirth allows you to trade a Pale Tongue to reallocate your stats or change your appearance. You have a maximum of 5 rebirths per game cycle. Pale Tongues are obtained each time the player invades and defeats the host of a world while either covenantless or as a member of Rosaria's Fingers. Defeating blue defenders (Blue Sentinels or Blades of the Darkmoon) will earn you an additional Forked Pale Tongue, a double reward item.

Altar: Ranks are obtained by offering Pale Tongues to Rosaria, Mother of Rebirth in the Cathedral of the Deep.

Immediately on your left is a wall that can be struck to reveal a ladder. Descend the ladder and fight the two Sulyvahn's Beasts that guard Archdeacon McDonnell, who will be located in the north-west corner of the room. Talk to Archdeacon McDonell and you will join the covenant.

Effects: If you are wearing the covenant item you will be summoned randomly to defend around the Anor Londo area (you don't have to be in that area to be summoned). If the covenant symbol is flashing-white in your screen, it means you're searching for an intruder. Once you have successfully defeated the intruder you will receive Human Dregs.

Altar: You can turn in your Human Dregs to Archdeacon McDonell to raise your covenant rank.

Location: Located in Anor Londo, at a tower accessed by walking over an invisible path from the rotating platform. The rotating stairs can be in any position. If it is at the top allowing access to Anor Londo go to the bottom of the stairs, and if it's at the bottom go to the top. There's a bonfire on a platform of the tower, just walk through the air straight ahead of the platform exit. Do not leave the path until you are in line with the bonfire, and drop to your right. Talk to Company Captain Yorshka and perform the Darkmoon Loyalty gesture. You must have followed Sirris of the Sunless Realm's questline to get the Darkmoon Loyalty gesture.

Effects: Blades of the Darkmoon and Blue Sentinels will be summoned into the worlds of those in the Way of Blue to defend them from hostile invaders. Blades of the Darkmoon are only summoned in response to players who invaded by using a Red Eye Orb. Hostile players who were summoned through red or white signs, or who invaded using the Aldrich Faithful or Watchdog of Farron covenant items, do not cause Darkmoon to be summoned. If you succeed in helping the Host of Embers defeat his invader you will be rewarded with a Proof of a Concord Kept.

Location: After defeating Darkeater Midir. Under the Inner Ring Wall bonfire, there will be a hidden wall. Behind this hidden wall lies the covenant.

Effects: While wearing this Covenant badge you'll be summoned to become Halflight, Spear of the Church during the boss fight. In order to be summoned you simply need to have the covenant item equipped. You will get a covenant item no matter if you are the host or invader, whoever wins gets it. Additionally, if you use the White Sign Soapstone, Red Sign Soapstone, Cracked Red Eye Orb, or Red Eye Orb anywhere in The Ringed City, you have a random chance of being summoned to help defend the Church regardless of the password and current covenant equipped. Players summoned to defend Halflight, Spear of the Church will receive increased defense proportional to the number of phantoms that the Host of Embers summon, at the cost of being unable to use Estus Flask. However, they can still use healing miracles.

Altar: The altar can be found just past Darkeater Midir. You must go through a Ringed Knight to get there.
Updates
In this section, I will post any updates I make to the guide large or small, so people know what may have changed or what has been added.

Update (April 13th, 2017): I added a few new sections today. I added one section for each of the Covenants with the exception of the Blue Sentinels and the Way of Blue. Each section contains the covenant rewards, location, and effects. In turn, I updated the Sources & Credits to include where I got that information from.

Edit (April 13th, 2017): Added "Spook" to the list of spells you need to buy from Orbeck to receive the Slumbering Dragon Ring and Silent Ally gesture as I noticed it was missing.

Edit (April 17th, 2017): Reworded the text in the "Lothric Castle Eygon Progress" and added his weapon drops.

Update (April 20th, 2017): Added a section for the Ashes of Ariadel DLC.

Edit (April 22, 2017): Changed the section to confirm that you can give Orbeck's Ashes to Yuria after he dies of natural causes.

Edit (August 3rd, 2017): Added a small chunk of text about suggestions.

Edit (August 17th, 2017): Added a line of text to the introduction stating that this guide details how to get the different endings for the game.

Edit (December 24th, 2017): Updated the thumbnail, the guide introduction, and the categories to include co-op and gameplay basics.

Edit (December 31st, 2017): Updated the guide introduction to clearly lay out the contents of the guide.

Edit (December 31st, 2017): Corrected spelling and grammar throughout the entire guide.

Update (February 16th, 2018): Finished sections for The Ringed City DLC.
Sources & Credits
All of the side quest information was provided by DeathGodGarra[www.gamefaqs.com] from his NPC Side Quests Guide V2[www.gamefaqs.com] post on GameFAQs.

FextraLife provided the Maps and the Game Progress Route[darksouls3.wiki.fextralife.com] as well as the New Game Plus[darksouls3.wiki.fextralife.com] information, the Pickle Pee, Pump-a-Rum[darksouls3.wiki.fextralife.com] trade information, and some of the covenant information[darksouls3.wiki.fextralife.com]. Some of my changes to the NPC Quest Guide used information from the FextraLife wiki.

I made small changes to the text adding some extra details, I bolded some things I thought were important and corrected some grammar and spelling errors.

Please feel free to correct me in the comments if I have made an error anywhere or if you think there is something that should be added to the guide that would improve the quality. If any of your suggestions get added to my guide you will be credited.

You can also find the build I use here: Kimo's Dragonslayer Build.

So this wraps up my Dark Souls III guide, though it would be fairer to call it a compilation of others works wrapped up conveniently in one place. If this guide helped you out please rate it so more people can find the guide. Thanks for reading!

Maybe add in a warning to say you need to kill Twin Princes BEFORE doing Leonharts quest if you're attempting to so Sirris' quest. I kill Dragon Slayer Armour, then made it to shortcut to the twin princes, then did leonharts quest and now I can't find Sirris or her body anywhere. All I wanted was the sunless talisman.... :(
